Visited the new Urgent Care located just down the hall from the main entrance on the left. I was in so much pain I knew I could not drive myself to the ER in LR. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Urgent Care!! Everyone was very kind- got me checked in quickly and back to a little cubicle. The doctor and nurses were truly exceptional. You can tell they enjoy helping Veterans. I went here for a few months for help with tapering off of benzos that I had been prescribed for anxiety. I was having a lot of trouble or with withdrawal symptoms and wanted to make sure I was tapering the correct way. I met with Brian a couple times and he was very nice. The only negative I have is he did a drug test on me without disclosing that I would get a bill. Now I have a $180 bill to test for drugs that I was prescribed. It would have been nice if the fact that I would have to pay so much for a drug test was disclosed before taking it, and if I had been given an option to opt out.

I would just like to share my experience about Natural State and the guy Michael who manages the sober living houses. If it was not for him my son would be dead. He told me from the beginning that if my son was willing to go to any lengths to change his life then he would have a chance. I almost enabled my son to his grave by not listening to Michael and taking his suggestions. Today my son has a little over a year sober and is a new person. He also suggested that I go to Alanon meetings which I have been for a year and the relief that I get from these meetings are priceless. My son was making every excuse in the world to me and I was believing him instead of someone who has walked in his shoes. Again thank you Michael and Natural State Recovery.

Oasis Renewal Center is an alcohol and drug rehab nestled in 48 acres of serene landscapes in Little Rock, Arkansas. This rehab is very affective in establishing long term sobriety if a person desires it. The negative reviews here are not accurate and the staff very much care for the clients, with most being former addicts and alcoholics themselves. I participated in residential treatment, PHP, and IOP. A client will be paired with a counselor, therapist, and a psychiatrist. Toward the end of treatment a client can be paired with a sponsor of a 12 step program like AA. There are too many resources to list that Oasis and Recovery Centers of Arkansas have to offer, but a person has to desire to be clean/sober and want to change their lifestyle. No one can make an individual stay sober so the staff cannot be blamed especially when they let it be known that the client must put in the effort to rise above their addiction. Thank you so much for accepting me back after 4 years of chronic relapsing. God bless you all!

I have used the VA Healthcare system for over 15 years. I have always been respectful and received excellent care from every encounter. I find that compliments get better Healthcare than outrageous condemnation every time. Perhaps the Veterans who have such bad results should look at their approach to the caregiver. They are humans also and have good and bad days like all of us. Maybe you will get better care if you help them have more good days.

If I could rate this place TEN stars, I would!! My marriage completely fell apart out of nowhere. I got married with the expectations of “Til death do us part,” and got the complete opposite. My husband abandoned me and my two boys causing us to lose everything. We lost our peace, joy, vehicle, and our fully furnished apartment. After reaching out for help, we were blessed with enough money to get a room for two weeks, and be able to eat everyday. When those weeks came to an end, I had no clue on which direction I was going, but I had to get my kids somewhere stable. I sent them both in two separate directions, because I knew they would be well taken care of until I got in a better place. For days I was out on the streets lost not knowing which way to go. I prayed for direction and was led to Our House. The first time I came, they were full. I called other shelters who had a bed ready for me, but God would not allow me to go. I waited. I tried again and a few days later, I was welcomed with opened arms. This place is truly a blessing. This is not your typical “Shelter.” It’s very clean, organized and very well structured! I love it! I am so grateful to have a bed, running water on my skin, to be able to handle my self care, enjoy a hot meal, and for the many resources they provide for you to get back on your feet. I now have my children back and I am so happy! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Our House has been a BLESSING to me and my babies, and we are SO GRATEFUL! This place is truly dedicated to anyone that wants better for themselves. If you’re willing to try, they’re willing to help. If unforeseen circumstances have happened to you, this is the place to go. If you can relate to my story, or have your own, Our House is the place to write your new one!
