I’ve been seeing my therapist since 2021, and I honestly would not be where I am today without her. She is kind, relatable, patient, understanding, supportive, caring; I could honestly go on and on about her. I also receive support with a psychiatrist who also is understanding, helpful, and collaborative. Their vocational services department has been by my side as I navigate my career with my disabilities, navigation is always so sweet, nurses are communicative, the office staff is warm and inviting. I just really appreciate all the care I’ve received with JCMH.

The Golden VA clinic is superb. From Primary Care to Audiology, my experience has been excellent.
My primary care physician, Dr. David Kresin and his team are extremely well qualified, caring, professional and responsive to my needs as a patient. I definitely have a high level of confidence in my Primary Care team and the VA and appreciate each of them.
The audiology department at this location is spectacular. Modern and high tech equipment operated by qualified and caring professionals has resulted a tremendous improvement in my quality of life.
U.S. military veterans are lucky to have this VA facility and those professionals who staff it.

Do not use one day at a time counseling. Anybody thinking of hiring Angie Cordova as a CFI should think twice. Unprofessional, one-sided, dishonest. Miss Cordova treated me very unfairly when she was the CFI in my divorce. She turned a blind eye to my ex-wifes drinking and promiscuity that took place in front of the children. She looked past my ex-wifes admitted use of drugs. She did not watch me with my children even once. Demanded tests without court orders. Blamed me for things out of my control. All clean UA's and one dilute and she labeled me highly addicted. 2 years later I still don't have my children. She gave all control
regarding my children to my ex-spouse. Even though I informed her of my wife's drinking, drug use, lying, all the different men that she was putting in front of my children. I have to visit my children under supervision because of this woman. Her judgment cannot be trusted. She has no business doing the job that she does. She's taking two years away from a loving caring father.

This is the best place for whatever you have going on in your life. I am on supervision and use them for my classes, one on ones, and testing. The staff is super nice and helpful. They go above and beyond with extra case management services and even helped with my resume. They will know you by first name and stay in touch when it counts. They have a bunch of online sessions available too if you can’t drive or need to meet with someone remotely. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

In July 2025, I started IOP at DWR which was the best decision I ever made. Their staff are supportive and extremely knowledgeable; special shoutout to Rachel, Amanda, and Crystal for all of their endless support!
During IOP, I relapsed more than once and was never treated differently because of it. Instead of criticizing my decisions, DWR provided me with the support and safe space to work through my relapses while still holding me accountable.
I have now been sober just over one year and even though I am the one who makes the decision to continue my sobriety everyday, I owe DWR for giving me the tools and confidence to do so. Thank you DWR for saving my life when I had almost given up and helping me create a life worth living.

I cannot recommend Cascade facility enough. My family and I have tried everything to get help for my child in TN. With shockingly low standards in care, most of which did more harm than good. Therapist that simply didn't process the experience, skill level, or self-control, to be effective. I was sick of being told about deep breathing, a chore chart and consequences would solve everything. Trust your instincts. As a parent, if those things worked, we would not be in this situation! Parents know when something isn't right. Staff at Cascade listened, validated what I said, I was free with ALL of my deepest fears, concerns and frustrations. Without fear of judgment. My child has grown, struggled, listened, contemplated life, set goals, made friendships. As she is getting ready to go home, reports her anxiety and depression as a ZERO with no cravings. When first arriving, her only goal was to get thrown out within a week. As she approached her 45-day mark, she said she really wanted to stay for 60 if she could. My child has been comfortable, safe and understood. The approach was to treat the entire family, staff communicate in real time, every email gets answered, every request for additional time for child or parent gets honored. Sandstone at Cascade has caring, professional staff. If you are exhausted, if you are tired of fighting for your child, if you live in a constant state of fear, and nobody is listening because your child presents well, if you can't keep your kid sober, there is help. Cascade Canyon was the only place that dug deep enough, to make a difference. To all out of State parents who are fearful to have your kid thousands of miles away, don't be. I promise you, it's worth it. Children were allowed to be children, they had their own space, they put pictures up and made their dorm like rooms their own. They were out on hikes, rock climbing, skydiving, they were not trapped, locked down, or dealing with kids that needed a higher, the kids were all dealing with the same type of issues. They were given the opportunity to have fun and see another side of life. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, don't second guess, getting your child quality care, even if they don't like you much at the time, is WORTH it. It gives both family and child a solid foundation to continue to build. Nothing is perfect, this is about as close to it as I have found.

My son survived a terrible car accident in which he was driving, very drunk. After realizing that he should have died in the accident he agreed he needed help. He admitted to using drugs and alcohol for many years. Sandstone saved my son, with personal therapy and family therapy and lots of support, he returned to me the son I always knew. My therapy session is with Vernon to help with my PTSD. I would recommend Vernon to anyone. He treats you as a person, not a number or a disabled patient. Vernon listens and tries different ways to help. I look forward to my sessions with Vernon. Lately a lot of negative things have happened but my session today made me feel better about myself and the new nightmares. Vernon is an asset to help with my condition. It seems like I am going to have this condition the rest of my life but he reinforces my battle to fight this. What I do not like, I am a veteran, on Medicare and Tricare for life but I will, out of left field, get a text message that I owe money which I have to pay to proceed. Don’t surprise me. I asked when I started if it was covered by insurance. I was told yes. Surprise! And if you call, they can get really rude.

Dr. Weiss and Mathew Piciulo are the two therapists at Heart to Heart Counseling that we encountered and I can firmly state are legit. They helped me heal from the wounds from my past and showed me how to be a Real Man. The entire staff was amazing! The counselors were great at communicating with the patients! Everyday was filled with positive and helpful information! The nurses were awesome at making sure everyone was comfortable, got their meds and were feeling as good as you could thru the program! Even the front desk person was very attentive to the patient's needs. Definitely a wonderful place to start your journey to recovery!

Denver Cares staff work hard to insure patients safety and attentive to each person's needs when it came to detox treatment. Staff were on hand 24/7 to ensure the patient was safe. Counselors were available to help determining what programs fit the individual after detox. I would highly recommend anyone needing help with addiction to seek Professional treatment.
