Simply put, Ocean State Recovery Center is amazing.  From the welcoming office staff to the dedicated and compassionate therapists guiding recovery, everyone here changes lives.  It's a daunting decision to seek a program to help with recovery, but the decision to come to Ocean State saved me. Natchaug Hospital is a large addiction and mental health hospital in Mansfield, Connecticut. What’s most unique and notable about them is the variety of services they offer and groups they serve. The Hospital which saved my child and family. We were so relieved to have our daughter be brought here after her miserable stay in the small room without any window at CCMC. Natchaug Hospital staff have such great affection for what they do. They are compassionate with patients which make relatives happy and rest assured that their family member is in safe hands. From the doctors, therapist, nurses and patient care assistants are all very respectful. I really admired the staff for their excellent work they do everyday. We had the opportunity to speak with our child whenever we wanted. I didn’t hear anyone disrespecting a child or belittling anyone. The staff understood that the children are not in their normal state of mind which means their attentiveness was always required. Thanks everyone for helping our daughter and family.

So at first I was very nervous about having my adolescent child here after reading reviews! So much so I drove up in middle of the night when he first arrived. Because I needed to lay eyes on him, and get a feel for the facility. It’s a very clean comfortable environment. The entire staff was so attentive to him his entire stay!! I was able to call anytime and speak to him he was able to call home as often as he needed!! The doctors nurses and mental health workers were AMAZING!!!! I was impressed with how well trained they are with working with people that are having a hard time! They were very patient with my son, and kept me very informed with exactly every thing going on with him! The Pscyh doctors know there stuff!! You are great hands here, trust the process! even my son felt he received the best care! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The staff worked immediately to get replacement meals put together for me when the kitchen couldn't the Dr approved medication my husband brought in my insurance kept denying due the red dye allergy. The staff all around gave the best care the could of with someone with my continuous health heart nd conditions. They even went so far to make sure I got cracher wit my seizure meds bc I wasn't supposed to take on a empty stomach. As someone in recovery, I highly recommend Ocean State Recovery Center. The staff and clients genuinely care, listen without judgment, and treat you like a person…not a diagnosis. Recovery isn’t always easy, but having the right people in your corner makes a huge difference. I’ve made incredible connections over the weeks and know I have friends (something I didn’t have in active addiction). Ocean State gave me support, accountability, and encouragement, all things which have kept me wanting to stay clean. I was afraid to ask for help but once I picked up the phone, I am grateful they answered.

Top notch birthing center drs and staff and obgyn drs/staff! After a not so great experience with another hospital/ birthing center/ obgyn in connecticut with my last pregnancy i was on the search for a new obgyn and place to deliver my next baby once I found out I was expecting. After getting referred to day kimball by my co-workers and boss saying nothing but good things about the birthing center and drs working at the obgyn I decided to give them a chance and it the best choice I made! From day one last fall they were wonderful. Living over an hour awayand working a not so consistant schedule being a construction worker in a trade they were super accommodating with my appointment scheduling throughout my entire pregnancy. Also having a previous high risk delivery they made sure to keep tabs on me and my baby very thoroughly throughout the entire pregnancy. When I came in to deliver they were prepared for any scenario knowing it could possibly go bad quickly. It did take a dangerous turn right after delivery and they were on top of it immediately making sure I had the care, support, and supplies needed. I have never been more thankful than I was for the entire staff that was on shift the night of my delivery. They kept calm and did their jobs to keep me and my family safe and as relaxed as possible. From the ob drs and staff, high rish drs and staff, birthing center nurses and staff, anesthesiologists , to the evs staff and kitchen staff id say Day Kimball was the perfect choice for me and my family this time!

The staff that genuinely wants to help and make you feel better.....but....If you have no insurance it costs $400 a month. State insurance gets it free $0 and private insurance will run you $240 a month in co pays. It's an astronomically high amount to pay. It's twice the price of Suboxone.. they make you pay, I'm guessing because MTD is a strong form of pain killer and they know it's addictive. I can't believe they charge so much for this treatment... somebody should look into why it's so expensive

I have a dear friend who is an alcoholic. Usual type of history, multiple hospitalizations, and treatment centers. Years of sobriety, followed by another crash. Each deeper than the last. I had her join me and wait in the waiting area while I had my session. She met and chatted with other clients. She made an appointment. Long story short, their approach helped her in her recovery. That, and tough love on my part. She's been sober for a great number of years. She was able to face her demons and come to terms with reality. And is in a caring long term committed relationship. That's what sound can do for those who are truly ready and put in the really hard work.

have been going here for 10+ years, the staff is for the most part super amazing and understanding. I always seem to have problems with the psych nurse, very unprofessional. I also always have to wait until the day I'm out of my meds for them to send me a refill which is so dangerous/risky and I don't completely understand it. Otherwise every other aspect about this place is amazing, great therapists and psychiatrists!

I’ve been going to United Services for psychiatric med management since around 2012. They’ve always been so helpful, welcoming, understanding, etc. I’ve been with my provider, Samer, for the last 4ish years and I can honestly say I’ve never had a more attentive and caring provider. He really listens to what I’m saying and takes the time to understand and works with me to find the best solution. I cannot say enough good things about the man, truly. Thank you United Services (and most of all thank you Samer) for all that you do. You have no idea how much it means.

I want to take a moment to update my previous review with honesty and fairness. In the past, I left a negative review due to a situation that I later realized was outside of Dr. Spencer’s control. He personally took the time to apologize and address the situation, which already spoke volumes about his professionalism and character. More recently, I have been dealing with ongoing health issues, and I can confidently say that the level of care I’ve received has been truly above and beyond. Dr. Spencer has been attentive, compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in my well-being. He listens carefully, explains things thoroughly, follows up, and makes sure his patients feel supported—something that is unfortunately rare these days. I also want to recognize the staff at Generation Family Care for their kindness, professionalism, and respectful treatment at every visit. I am very grateful for the care I’ve received and highly recommend Dr. Spencer without hesitation. He is a physician who truly cares about his patients and makes a real difference.
