They offer many groups and allow clients some options in choosing different group therapies in the afternoon. I was allowed to attended different 12 step meetings in the evening and encouraged to build my sober network. The support from all staff members has been expressed with genuine love and kindness. Lantana has a wonderful success rate and I believe this is do to the staff members who truly care about each individual client, providing care and compassion we need in such a difficult time. There is a strong community here. You can find friends and mentorship as you go through the program with clients who are also seeking support. Everyone’s experience is going to be different. I was at the old facility and my PC family was amazing. I met so many people wonderful souls and have amazing memories with them. I'm constantly telling ppl about this facility. There's only 4 of us, myself included that has been sober since they left there. Unfortunately alot of ppl went bk out in their addictions and are no longer alive and some are bk in prison. You will be respected, heard, and treated with dignity. You won't be dismissed, all your questions will be answered. Be completely honest so that you can receive the exact care that you need. You could not ask for better accomodations or understanding. The environment is immediately welcoming. Its quiet, peaceful. They have everything you need, you really just need clothing. (Its a bit chilly, bring hoodies and fuzzy socks) There are even laundry facilities. You will be provided with a vape or nicotine patches if you use nicotine products. You may rest as much as you need, the staff will let you sleep through the night, vitals are during the day. You can call your family, except for during group meetings. No visitors, but the stay is short. The counselors and peer support specialists are very honest, open, and eager to help you with your personal journey, without being pushy or making you feel rushed. Whether faith based or evidence based care is right for you, that is your choice. There are options for both approaches! The idea of group meetings was terrifying for me, an introvert, an addict full of shame and guilt. You are not obligated to contribute, that was reassuring. But I was surprised at myself for wanting to contribute and engage. It was a bit sad leaving. While here, I was not just a junkie, just an alcoholic, a lost cause, all of the negative adjectives I used to describe myself. I wasn't the things my family called me. I wasn't an echo of the childhood I lost. I wasn't an empty, lonely vessel on autopilot. I was a person. A human. Im more than my story, but sharing our perspectives and caring for each other felt like being part of a family. A family where you aren't the black sheep. It was almost overwhelming to feel that kind of support and HOPE. Ill be honest; When I came in, i wasn't ready to get help. The timing was just right. But very quickly that changed. They made me want to be better. Not for recognition or pats on the back. Not for attention or brownie points. The Therapist’s that you meet one on one with were terrible until my next to the last day, where I finally met my assigned therapist, and she was great. The physicians, PAs, and the nursing staff were outstanding, which is why they got a four out of five rating overall instead of a three. I injured my foot during activities therapy when I fell, That night I notified to 2 of the tech’s And the Charge nurse. The day after that, I notified the nursing staff( 3 total) Again and nothing was done or said. I even told them that I just wanted it documented at the least. Finally, on the third day there was a different Charge nurse, and I told her and she immediately assessed my foot, took pictures, alerted the doctor and ordered an x-ray. It took almost 36 hours for me to get the x-ray despite the nurse ordering it. STAT. After eight days, I was finally discharged and the swelling in my foot never once improved. The food is disgusting, I lived off of sandwiches and the salad bar for the 12 days that I was there. the cleanliness is terrible, it took over a week for them to clean my bathroom, My room was never vacuumed, and I rarely saw any of the housekeeping staff sweep. This of course it’s not the housekeeping fault, but the fact that they only had two housekeepers for the entire facility while I was there. Dr Greene is an amazing doctor I learned so much from her and she made me feel heard and understood and no judgment. She taught me that not one patient is the same so she treats us all differently and I respect that. She gave me the hard truth which I needed at times but also gave me compassion and patience She helped me get to where I could get back out and face the world another day with clear mindset. The staff at Britelife genuinely seen my son and his addiction. They seen him as a person not just an addict, they recognize the individual and made sure his treatment was designed for him. Not everyone fits into a box and the staff at Britelife knows that. Unfortunately my son relapsed after 2 years of sobriety the first place he wanted to go was here because he knew this was the best place for him. He was unable to return due to Britelife not taking his insurance (which is understandable) Britelife is an amazing place with amazing staff that understands and supports the family and their residents. Other than some initial insurance issues (due to us residing in NC), which Christian helped us navigate, it was smooth sailing and they even came up here to pick him up! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful, and remained in contact with me throughout his entire 90 day program. I've seen such a change in my brother. And he has been so happy with his new life and network there, that after his commencement, he has decided to stay there for their "alumni program" and remain staying at their sober living facility which provides him the freedom to travel, have his cell phone and get a job, all while having the safety net of his network and groups. I went back to the hospital in Walterboro, the same person was at the desk. She claimed, she still didn’t have the paperwork. I called the scheduling office and told them what’s going on and I had the lady to speak to her on speaker phone, she hardly spoke to the scheduler. She said this is the fax machine. The scheduler told her that she sent it twice. Miss lady got upset. Someone from the office was listening and she got the paperwork and brought it out. She saw where the lady was getting upset and she asked if she wanted her help me? She said no, I’ll do it. She didn’t apologize for her behavior. I said thank you and went Radiology. The lady back there did speak until I did. The person who did my test was very friendly. She introduced herself and told me what she was going do and what to expect. She pushed me to the car. Here I'm at 100 and the medicine is actually WORKING... SO PLEASE BELIEVE ME , STAY AT C.O.H OR CROSSROADS... The medicine not only doesn't work at the other clinic ,but if you have blue cross you end up paying 120 a month .. Here it's only 30 a month... IM SO GLAD I GAVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE... But what I can say, is this, There is a counselor named Keith if you were a seasoned addict and you need genuine counselor, I want you to request Keith. This man has been in my life for 10 years, and as I came back-and-forth between clinics, he always became my counselor again. Never judgmental, Always always rational and you can’t help but to put a smile on your face when you’re around him his aura, It is purple. And I’m telling you right now he is a blessing to this place. The program director is also a counselor that has been there for a while and moved her way up. She is also fair and a sweetheart tells me to have a good morning every day. The financial person that does insurance she will work with you as long as you are doing for yourself and trying to make a better way for yourself they will help you. My experience has been impeccable. They offer many groups and allow clients some options in choosing different group therapies in the afternoon. I was allowed to attended different 12 step meetings in the evening and encouraged to build my sober network. The support from all staff members has been expressed with genuine love and kindness. Lantana has a wonderful success rate and I believe this is do to the staff members who truly care about each individual client, providing care and compassion we need in such a difficult time. There is a strong community here. You can find friends and mentorship as you go through the program with clients who are also seeking support. Everyone’s experience is going to be different. Going through treatment can be challenging, many of us are learning a new way of life to find peace and serenity. 100% I recommend this program to those who are struggling and need some support.

I went to this safe haven back in 2016 and they helped save my life. Today is 2024. I have stayed clean since. This place is truly a blessing. I was at the old facility and my PC family was amazing. I met so many people wonderful souls and have amazing memories with them. Thanks to Kelvin Durant for putting a fire under me and challenging me to stay clean. It worked. Just for today I’m still here and lived to tell the tale. I recommend it to anyone.

Best decision I ever made was to come here, July 25th, 2010. I'll b 14yrs sober in july!! I have never regretted that decision to get clean. Thank uuu all for yallz help, support, and looove!! If anyone's still there from waaay bk when, I'm the one who made all the kandi for everyone there and ppl were calling me "the butterfly lady". I'm constantly telling ppl about this facility. There's only 4 of us, myself included that has been sober since they left there. Unfortunately alot of ppl went bk out in their addictions and are no longer alive and some are bk in prison. But, that's the price u pay when u don't take the program seriously or u don't really wanna get clean!! I'm sooo thankful I wanted this for myself and the Lord Jesus Christ has kept me sober since!! This place has been a game changer for me. God led me here, no longer feeling like im riding in the backseat of my sobriety/ cleanliness. Now im driving this train and pulling some folks too.Feels amazing...also want to note how sweet the staff all were, even the couple token sourpusses have their value for sure. The food was actually pretty edible! Not that u really want to eat, but this is an absolute necessity in the beginning as well as sleep and the bed was comfortable enough i was able to sleep another absolute necessity you would be surprised i didnt find at other places, sometimes its about those little things that otherwise would have caused anyone so much more unnecessary uncomfort. Also, plenty of vape breaks, and they give u a good vape for your stay as long as u attend the groups, plz do as many groups as uu possibly can. Thank u again to all the staff, support and to all the beautiful people I met in there. I could not be more grateful for the care I received here. The staff are amazing and will make sure that you are always comfortable. You will be respected, heard, and treated with dignity. You won't be dismissed, all your questions will be answered. Be completely honest so that you can receive the exact care that you need. You could not ask for better accomodations or understanding. The environment is immediately welcoming. Its quiet, peaceful. They have everything you need, you really just need clothing. (Its a bit chilly, bring hoodies and fuzzy socks) There are even laundry facilities. You will be provided with a vape or nicotine patches if you use nicotine products. You may rest as much as you need, the staff will let you sleep through the night, vitals are during the day. You can call your family, except for during group meetings. No visitors, but the stay is short. The counselors and peer support specialists are very honest, open, and eager to help you with your personal journey, without being pushy or making you feel rushed. Whether faith based or evidence based care is right for you, that is your choice. There are options for both approaches! The idea of group meetings was terrifying for me, an introvert, an addict full of shame and guilt. You are not obligated to contribute, that was reassuring. But I was surprised at myself for wanting to contribute and engage. It was a bit sad leaving. I wasn't an echo of the childhood I lost. I wasn't an empty, lonely vessel on autopilot. I was a person. A human. Im more than my story, but sharing our perspectives and caring for each other felt like being part of a family. A family where you aren't the black sheep. It was almost overwhelming to feel that kind of support and HOPE. Ill be honest; When I came in, i wasn't ready to get help. The timing was just right. But very quickly that changed. They made me want to be better. Not for recognition or pats on the back. Not for attention or brownie points. The Therapist’s I saw during the group therapies are amazing and this is where I received the absolute best care. The Therapist’s that you meet one on one with were terrible until my next to the last day, where I finally met my assigned therapist, and she was great. The physicians, PAs, and the nursing staff were outstanding, which is why they got a four out of five rating overall instead of a three. I injured my foot during activities therapy when I fell, That night I notified to 2 of the tech’s And the Charge nurse. The day after that, I notified the nursing staff( 3 total) Again and nothing was done or said. I even told them that I just wanted it documented at the least. Finally, on the third day there was a different Charge nurse, and I told her and she immediately assessed my foot, took pictures, alerted the doctor and ordered an x-ray. It took almost 36 hours for me to get the x-ray despite the nurse ordering it. STAT. After eight days, I was finally discharged and the swelling in my foot never once improved. The food is disgusting, I lived off of sandwiches and the salad bar for the 12 days that I was there. the cleanliness is terrible, it took over a week for them to clean my bathroom, My room was never vacuumed, and I rarely saw any of the housekeeping staff sweep. This of course it’s not the housekeeping fault, but the fact that they only had two housekeepers for the entire facility while I was there.

Truly took care of me! Dr Greene is an amazing doctor I learned so much from her and she made me feel heard and understood and no judgment. She taught me that not one patient is the same so she treats us all differently and I respect that. She gave me the hard truth which I needed at times but also gave me compassion and patience She helped me get to where I could get back out and face the world another day with clear mindset. Awesome Doctor!!!! Miss Harmony is such a great nurse she calmed me down and made sure that I had my prescriptions and everything set up before discharging. Thanks girl! My son has been to several rehabs unfortunately, but when he arrived at Britelife something changed. The staff at Britelife genuinely seen my son and his addiction. They seen him as a person not just an addict, they recognize the individual and made sure his treatment was designed for him. Not everyone fits into a box and the staff at Britelife knows that. Unfortunately my son relapsed after 2 years of sobriety the first place he wanted to go was here because he knew this was the best place for him. He was unable to return due to Britelife not taking his insurance (which is understandable) Britelife is an amazing place with amazing staff that understands and supports the family and their residents. My son did find a rehabilitation facility that accepts his insurance. If you have the means please consider Britelife they are amazing if not please reach out to someone. You deserve to shine brite! My brother chose to go to this rehab after finishing detox at another facility. With the help of Christian, we were able to make that happen. Other than some initial insurance issues (due to us residing in NC), which Christian helped us navigate, it was smooth sailing and they even came up here to pick him up! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful, and remained in contact with me throughout his entire 90 day program. I've seen such a change in my brother. And he has been so happy with his new life and network there, that after his commencement, he has decided to stay there for their "alumni program" and remain staying at their sober living facility which provides him the freedom to travel, have his cell phone and get a job, all while having the safety net of his network and groups. I went to HCA Healthcare to have a DVT done. I had to register there was a black bald woman at the desk, she didn’t have the copy of the orders. I called the doctors office, and left. Around 1315 someone called to setup an appointment for 1445 to be at the hospital to register and my appointment for the test would be 1500. I went back to the hospital in Walterboro, the same person was at the desk. She claimed, she still didn’t have the paperwork. I called the scheduling office and told them what’s going on and I had the lady to speak to her on speaker phone, she hardly spoke to the scheduler. She said this is the fax machine. The scheduler told her that she sent it twice. Miss lady got upset. Someone from the office was listening and she got the paperwork and brought it out. She saw where the lady was getting upset and she asked if she wanted her help me? She said no, I’ll do it. She didn’t apologize for her behavior. I said thank you and went Radiology. The lady back there did speak until I did. The person who did my test was very friendly. She introduced herself and told me what she was going do and what to expect. She pushed me to the car. Very nice person!

Waypoint Recovery was a God-send. When I placed the first call to ask for help, the staff was so kind and spoke to me with such care and concern. The facility was beautiful and made me feel safe so that I could just concentrate on getting better. I left Waypoint Recovery center Dec 1 with so much knowledge about recovery especially my own. And I learned so much about other people. I learned how to love and to be loved again. The entire staff at Waypoint Recovery in Cameron are consummate professionals but it's not just that, they loved me the the moment I got there to the moment I graduated and continue to love me to this very moment. This place saved my life. They have a great director and the staff listen and care. If you have Medicaid you can dose free and even get free rides. No one out there should be suffering hell on earth withdrawals as long as this place is open. But like always, grown adults cry like little children if they mess up and have to face the consequences. Such as getting your take home meds taken away and having to go everyday. If you decided to get high and then have a dirty screen that is on YOU. In this regard it's like a daycare Center for childish adults. If you do the program as you should you can get your life back.

I became a patient of crossroads back in 2018. At first I was problematic, not doing well but I also wasn’t doing anything that I was supposed to. Once I actually worked the program I began to excel. I was one of the few lucky ones who had the same counselor my entire time there. But thanks to her I am who I am today. And now I myself am a counselor at a methadone clinic! Methadone saves lives, and it definitely saved mine!

Yes I have been here since 2004 I have seen many changes in that time... About 3 and half years ago I transferred to Myrtle Beach treatment specialist .... I DONT RECOMMEND THAT ! I just transferred back here to Crossroads and they have changed so much for the BETTER. I'm actually 20 mgs lower then I was at Myrtle Beach treatment. IM NO LONGER SICK, AND NOT USING !!! Within a week of being back at crossroads my dose was starting to work again ... Everyday I was sick and dosing at Myrtle Beach treatment. AND I WAS AT 120.???? Here I'm at 100 and the medicine is actually WORKING... SO PLEASE BELIEVE ME , STAY AT C.O.H OR CROSSROADS... The medicine not only doesn't work at the other clinic ,but if you have blue cross you end up paying 120 a month .. Here it's only 30 a month... IM SO GLAD I GAVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE... The director is GREAT. The whole staff is great... I love my counselor here. They have updated their facility too... I give crossroads 💯.

I'm just getting started with the VA and I tell you they have been great. I was treating with respect and taken good care of. They spent so much time with me and listened to me and didn't rush me in any way and took care of all of my health needs. I had my prescriptions set up and got those mailed to me, the VA person in charge of my prescriptions called me after I received mine and went over everything with me and was so nice. I can't say enough about how nice and professional they are, I'd give them a 10 if I could.

This place has had its fair share of up-and-down in the last 10 years. But what I can say, is this, There is a counselor named Keith if you were a seasoned addict and you need genuine counselor, I want you to request Keith. This man has been in my life for 10 years, and as I came back-and-forth between clinics, he always became my counselor again. Never judgmental, Always always rational and you can’t help but to put a smile on your face when you’re around him his aura, It is purple. And I’m telling you right now he is a blessing to this place. The program director is also a counselor that has been there for a while and moved her way up. She is also fair and a sweetheart tells me to have a good morning every day. The financial person that does insurance she will work with you as long as you are doing for yourself and trying to make a better way for yourself they will help you. I showed up 3 days into withdrawal and was hurting so bad. They helped me get my intake done quickly and got me medicated and feeling better. My counselor is great. JB has pushed me to complete goals and has just been a really great mentor. Overall RCC has changed/ and saved my life.

My brother chose to go to this rehab after finishing detox at another facility. With the help of Christian, we were able to make that happen. Other than some initial insurance issues (due to us residing in NC), which Christian helped us navigate, it was smooth sailing and they even came up here to pick him up! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful, and remained in contact with me throughout his entire 90 day program. I've seen such a change in my brother. And he has been so happy with his new life and network there, that after his commencement, he has decided to stay there for their "alumni program" and remain staying at their sober living facility which provides him the freedom to travel, have his cell phone and get a job, all while having the safety net of his network and groups. A neurologist named Kristen, a nurse named I think Adriene, and a technician whose name I can’t recall at the moment, were especially helpful in expediting matters so that all testing and care would be completed so that I could be released in a timely manner. That manner being so that I could be home before a major storm occurred. I what to Aiken Regional Medical Center ER with chest pains and tightening in my chest I was very pleased with the service that I received from the Regista until the end of my Service. The staff that was working on 02/05/2026 after 3:00 pm was "Johnny on the spot". Very knowledgeable and worked together as a team to take care of my heart condition, that could have easily when into cardiac arrest. Again I say "Thank you", I can't remember all their names, but Tanisha was one of the nurses and the ER doctor was Meikle, maybe misspelled, but that entire team was my hero in comforting my daughter and taking of me. ❤️🙏🏽
