I spent 3 months at Talbott in-patient beginning in October 2020, and then an additional 3 months in their sober living program (which has since been discontinued). Before I came to Talbott, I was broken, unable to function or live any kind of life period. I couldn’t see any other way until I found Talbott.
The most important thing I found at Talbott was a community of individuals who were struggling with the same things I was - my time at Talbott showed me the importance of community and connection. This connection and sense of community was fostered by people like my counselors Allie and Sam, and more so by our community coordinators Ben and Christian.
Ben especially left an indelible mark on my life and my perspective on addiction and finding recovery. His ability to connect with patients and former patients is remarkable and too seldom found in the treatment world. I will never forget the first time I heard Ben speak - he has a wholly unique ability to give people hope, especially when they are at their lowest.
I have carried the lessons Ben and everyone at Talbott taught me since then, and I now have over 4 1/2 years clean and sober. Talbott changed my life and for that I will be forever grateful.

This place is lovely. They are excellent at working with your insurance and helping you to get the most out your time in treatment. The staff are very warm and supportive and do everything they can to make life easier for you while you are there. Really, this place provides quality of care way above and beyond the norm for this level of care, while allowing you both great freedom and supportive structure. If you are looking for a place that feels like home (only probably more stable), this is the place for you. They always make sure you have transportation available, which is great for people who don t have cars. They let you work and build community and they don t give up on people easily. The location is great, the housing is great, and the staff are amazing. The maximum stay is six months although I guess they make exceptions. They have alumni activities and you are always welcome to return once you graduate.Five stars. And believe me, I know my treatment centers.

I am extremely happy that I chose SouthEast for my detox and residential. The entire staff is so caring and loving! It is so clear that they like helping and have great experience. I had searched for a detox close to home, but after checking reviews on Google, I chose them. I had a podiatrist appointment. I was seen in a very short time. They cut my toenails and the VA doctor was on a tele-med. She gave me two pairs of shoes and some diabetic socks. I have very low expectations and I am not sensitive to bad attitudes. They get 5 stars from me.

I was in hillside from August to November of 2023, and truthfully I can t believe it s been that long.When I went in to hillside, I had no will to live, was depressed and struggled socially and with processing and understanding emotions. When I went in, I was scared, because of past experiences in residential and acute placements. But once i started the program, I learned quickly hillside was different. Every staff member truly tried to help and connect with me in their own different ways. And I thank each and every one of them for being part of my journey, even when it was difficult.Today, not only me, and the others around me see the progress I continue to make. Because it isn t over night. I still practice my skills, and I m still learning and growing and improving every day. There are still hard days, but I m able now to get through them thanks to the things I ve learned at Hillside.

I found the staff @ Breakthrough to be extremely supportive, caring and committed to the people who come to make a change in their lives and the family and friends who love them. That was the experience for me and my GodDaughter who was there 8 months. We have experienced several programs but because of the skills and commitment of the most caring staff, Breakthrough has been transformative for her , she is closer to reaching her goals and I had a supportive partner in my part of helping her. Alfred Williams and his counseling sessions saved my life. I wish that I could repay Newport for what they have done for my life, but that would be impossible, as it s priceless. Newport health has saved my life.The doctor's,consulers, and staff are very perfehanal and understanding.
