Went in for a minor surgical procedure. Staff was very friendly, addressed all of my questions, and I did not have to wait hours like you do in a larger hospital. My loved one was struggling with severe depression. We were very concerned about condition. She admitted herself to another facility but was not pleased. I had seen CheaRon Darrett on tv sharing info about this facility. I called her & explained what was going. She immediately got the ball rolling. She gave us detailed info and the steps we needed to take. The next day my loved one was admitted to your facility. From that day forward, she began to get better. We talked several times during her stay and visited the facility. She shared that she was getting the treatment she needed and was very pleased with the facility. The facility was clean and the staff was professional and courteous. After inpatient care, she continued in outpatient therapy and has made great strides. The difference between this treatment center and the rest has to do with the exceptional people that work there. They're non-judgmental, compassionate, they're not critical of us when we make a bad judgment call. This is they're statement "Triumphing over opioid addiction by integrating treatment, counseling and COMPASSIONATE PATIENT CARE THAT SAVES LIVES". The last sentence is remarkable, true and they mean it. I've been addicted over 40 yrs. I've wasted an entire lifetime. This is the first TX center that didn't make me feel ashamed, judged and no one working there is anything but special, caring, compassionate and kind. I've never got clean out here before. I'm about to pass up 3 months now. Very excited about this life changer. Thanks to all of you at Cape Girardeau Metro Treatment Center. You're all wonderful and caring people that make my life more worthwhile each day that passes me by. I've got so much gratitude and I can now see the forest for the trees!! Thank again!!

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

I am a recovering IV heroin addict, I have struggled with maintaining sobriety and managing bipolar and anxiety. I have been going here for a few years now and I have been able to stay clean with MAT and consistently manage my mental health. I have seen a few different providers in my time there but they have all been amazing! I feel heard and safe and every there has your best interest in mind. I recently finished treatment at the Aviary. It changed my life. All of the counselars truly care about every single clients and are awesome helping you in anyway they can. The nurses are super awesome and friendly. The coaches care and run their butts off helping all the clients. I have worked with Many different providers here and they are pretty awesome! Ann Hocking, and Dr Grant have helped me and have really been so good to me. I have also deal with Melissa from mental health that has taken the time to follow up with me to make sure I got what I needed. The people of this place treated me in a very rude way, they are unprofessional at the work they do. The only thing they are concerned is about the money, I called them and left messages and it never was responded back, It really doesn't worth, if you are looking for help, here you won't find it, go to elsewhere.
