From the first day I started the programs available at Comprehensive Connections "Drug Rehabilitation", "Individual Therapy, "Group Therapy", It's been nothing but a blessing. The individual therapy has litterly changed my life. All of the counselors are so skilled and caring. Ive been to other drug Rehabilitation places before and Comprehensive Connections is nothing like them. The difference is the staff truly care genuinely care with there heart. The counselors take there time and listen, and work on my problems in all directions not just drug and alcohol addiction but all my "character defects" which is in turn is what is causing my need for use. of a drugs or alcohol. It's been a battle and always will be but at least now I know how to fight back with the tools taught here. So thank you counselors and management and everyone that works there you truly are a blessing from God Anyone that's struggling for mental health problems or addiction of any sort this is your place I promise these people here are genuine and extremely knowledgeable. The only way to beat this disease, is to fight back, and you "don't" have to do it on your own. This place saved my life. I now live a much better life, clean and drug free. As of today June 17th 2024 I am 150 days clean. This is a great place to go if you need to go to take classes for a DUI and Substance abuse. It does cost a little bit of money but it is well worth it. The counselor was very nice to deal with. Sometimes we would leave early, but I really did enjoy going there it was a friendly atmosphere. You do get to learn a lot of things. She helped me a lot to get my driver's license back and I'll never forget that. I'll always recommend this place to anyone.

It’s difficult to put into words how much this facility saved my life. I arrived a hopeless, angry broken person, and for the first time in 25 years, I feel whole. I didn’t know how to express what I felt, and so I tried to isolate myself.. But they would include me anyway. They gave me love when I couldn’t love myself. They were patient and kind and compassionate to every broken part of who I was.. they refused to give up on me. The experience was profound. The group structure of the program ensures that each individual feels equally connected and heard, coupled with individualized counseling sessions with a primary counselor. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility the staff and the experience I had there. All I can say is that no matter what your situation or circumstances, if you are looking for help and somewhere safe to heal, I highly, highly recommend this facility in Carbondale Illinois.

I have been all over the country to various VA medical facilities: Pittsburgh VA, Altoona VA, Audie Murphy VA, Orlando, FL VA, and now Marion, IL. For the last 3 years they have served me faithfully: met my mental, physical, and emotional needs through Behavioral Health, PT, diagnostics, and quality community care referrals. I couldn't be more satisfied with the care that the Marion VA provides. Of course, I am bias, but I think not having to wait 6 months for an MRI (like in San Antonio) is worth the change. I consider myself quite blessed. If you don't want to feel like a number, or a cog in a machine; Marion VA is for you.

I ain’t gonna lie I did not like going to counseling my first go round. I wasn’t ready for the help. The 2nd time i loved going. & between both times my counselor did act differently because they could see that I was trying vs before when I was not. & I understand completely why I got different vibes. I didn’t want help. then when I did they all helped me. I see some reviews saying staff was rude ect. Personally not once was anyone just rude to me. Now did some make it clear they seen threw my bull, yup. As she should have! absolutely recommend going there if you genuinely want help! If you do not want help and ur there for other reasons they wil be able to tell. I even ended up homeless for 5 months, basically like my little sister died, I missed counseling sooo much & they still worked with me & tried to help even tho they could have kicked me out for not going only cuz they knew I was actually trying. I have mad love for all these people after round 2. Before tho I did not at all. basically ur vibe depends on the vibe you will get. but it wouldn’t be helpful for them to just act like they didn’t notice ur not trying.

I went there twice. The first time was back in December and the second time was in January. The first time was horrible the first night I didn’t sleep at all. The workers there seemed professional and helpful. The only issue I had was the lack of communication to the outside world. If your like me then your always busy so being locked in a building that only lets you use the phone at 5pm did me more harm then good. I will admit there are a few employees who genuinely don’t care about you. There is only one licensed physiatrist there and he didn’t seem to care to chit chat with his patients. When I was there I enjoyed playing cards and watching tv with the other patients they were really good people and it saddens me to see such pure and good people struggle with mental illnesses. There wasn’t much to do except wake up take meds and eat. At the end of each day we had group therapy. The food was great and plentiful and the meds really evened out my moods and made me more calm. Because the meds helped with anxiety my BP went from 160/75 to a low 123/85. I was glad to be a patient there and I think it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder, psychosis although I wasn’t hallucinating. And the second time I went I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder, and a NOS personality disorder.

I have used Centerstone for several years. I have learned coping skills and paths for healing, everyone is very professional. I know that my road to better mental health may be long, I feel confident in Centerstone. My current counselor is Lindsey Doughty, she has been great, I am new to Lindsey, but I feel very optimistic, she has been great.

I have been in treatment for mental health and substance abuse issues at the Marion office of Carbondale DUI since I got out of prison a year ago. My individual and group treatment has been amazing and I don't think I would still be clean and out of federal prison if I didn't have the support I do from my counselors there. Kate and Cortney are both the best counselors I have ever had and go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the best treatment possible.

Went in for a minor surgical procedure. Staff was very friendly, addressed all of my questions, and I did not have to wait hours like you do in a larger hospital. My wife and I parked and were inside the hospital in less than a minute. The smaller facility made the experience much less stressful. Highly recommended.
