Went in for a minor surgical procedure. Staff was very friendly, addressed all of my questions, and I did not have to wait hours like you do in a larger hospital. My wife and I parked and were inside the hospital in less than a minute. The smaller facility made the experience much less stressful. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to go if you need to go to take classes for a DUI and Substance abuse. It does cost a little bit of money but it is well worth it. The counselor was very nice to deal with. Sometimes we would leave early, but I really did enjoy going there it was a friendly atmosphere. You do get to learn a lot of things. She helped me a lot to get my driver's license back and I'll never forget that. I'll always recommend this place to anyone.

From the first day I started the programs available at Comprehensive Connections "Drug Rehabilitation", "Individual Therapy, "Group Therapy", It's been nothing but a blessing. The individual therapy has litterly changed my life. All of the counselors are so skilled and caring. Ive been to other drug Rehabilitation places before and Comprehensive Connections is nothing like them. The difference is the staff truly care genuinely care with there heart. The counselors take there time and listen, and work on my problems in all directions not just drug and alcohol addiction but all my "character defects" which is in turn is what is causing my need for use. of a drugs or alcohol. It's been a battle and always will be but at least now I know how to fight back with the tools taught here. So thank you counselors and management and everyone that works there you truly are a blessing from God Anyone that's struggling for mental health problems or addiction of any sort this is your place I promise these people here are genuine and extremely knowledgeable. The only way to beat this disease, is to fight back, and you "don't" have to do it on your own. A special than you to "Kevin", "Brandon", and "Jamie" for truly helping me and being there for me in my time of need and teaching me techniques to fight this disease. 👍♥️✝️

I came here at the age of 14 when they were on strike and had to leave due to a lack of professionalism and consistency but I have to say I am very impressed with how much better they’ve gotten under new management, I don’t necessarily agree with the policies of services and the grounds they have for termination but they are fair and understandable nonetheless.

My girlfriend took me to HSHS Good Shepherd ER in November of 2023, I was nauseous and in severe pain. They immediately got me in a wheelchair, then to a bed. They were very kind , did ct, bloodwork and urine test. Diagnosed me with 2 large kidney stones and a UTI. Hooked me up to an IV with antibiotics and meds for pain and nausea. Within 3 hours I left the hospital with a diagnosis and feeling so much better. The ER doctor and nurses were very caring, empathetic and efficient. This is an excellent small hospital!!!

Dr. Guaglianone is an Oncologist that comrs to the specialty clinic at HSHS Good Shepard EVERY Monday, Where the MEDICAL center pharmacy use to be. Amazing! There is help and CRC is a part of it. I ain't going to sugar coat it. Nothing is for everyone. There was a lot of down time for me I struggled to fill. It could be different, but more importantly I should have done more. They showed me the beginning of recovery and I am very grateful for that. This is by far the best detox place for at least alcohol. I have been in and out of centers like this since I was in my early 20s. I am 38 now. I went here before I went to Gateway rehab in Springfield. Made the withdrawals almost non existent. Program is Only 3 days!!! Staff is amazing!!! They give you the right medication to ease ALLLL the pain. The other places do not give IV Ativan like this place if you need it. Last time I just did oral Ativan. If your thinking about it. It’s 3 days of your life to be sober or at least a chance to stay sober without the pain and agony that comes with WITHDRAWALS!!!! I am a professional alcoholic. You get your own room and you sleep most of the time. This place is like a little secret. Ativan has been a miracle medication to me. Also helps with your anxiety. ❤️
