From the first day I started the programs available at Comprehensive Connections "Drug Rehabilitation", "Individual Therapy, "Group Therapy", It's been nothing but a blessing. The individual therapy has litterly changed my life. All of the counselors are so skilled and caring. Ive been to other drug Rehabilitation places before and Comprehensive Connections is nothing like them. The difference is the staff truly care genuinely care with there heart. The counselors take there time and listen, and work on my problems in all directions not just drug and alcohol addiction but all my "character defects" which is in turn is what is causing my need for use. of a drugs or alcohol. It's been a battle and always will be but at least now I know how to fight back with the tools taught here. So thank you counselors and management and everyone that works there you truly are a blessing from God Anyone that's struggling for mental health problems or addiction of any sort this is your place I promise these people here are genuine and extremely knowledgeable. The only way to beat this disease, is to fight back, and you "don't" have to do it on your own. A special than you to "Kevin", "Brandon", and "Jamie" for truly helping me and being there for me in my time of need and teaching me techniques to fight this disease. 👍♥️✝️

I can’t say enough good things about this DUI counseling program. The teachers here truly go above and beyond…George, Troy, and Noel each share real-life stories and situations that make the lessons not only impactful but also relatable. You can tell they genuinely care about the work they do and about helping people learn and grow. Even Shelly, in the office, is kind and very relatable.
What stood out to me most is that this program isn’t just for people with a DUI…it’s information that everyone should hear! The way it’s taught makes you reflect, and I honestly believe these lessons could benefit anyone, whether or not they’ve ever made the mistake of driving under the influence. It’s a truly valuable program run by people who care about making a difference.

East Saint Louis, IL | Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center of St. Clair County is based in East St. Louis, Illinois. It’s not far from the Mississippi River. This center provides mental health and addiction treatment services to teens and adults, including veterans, active duty military staff, LGBTQ+ folks, court-referred clients, as well as pregnant and postpartum | Treatments Programs Payment Options | A Comprehensive review of Comprehensive:
First of all, Praise God for this establishment, which has sheltered me from homelessness in East St Louis for the past two years. My dad kicked me out for drinking my PTSD away, after my ex claimed the house... and Miss Pat from St. VINCENT de Paul homeless shelter referred me to Pastor Rice, who got me into SMARTS promptly.
In SMARTS, I learned all about the twelve steps and what being an addict, and atonement, really meant. I was heavily influenced by old staff members like Miss Angela. Rosaline deserves a raise. So does Amy from G street house. Amy cooks so well, and is sweet on us. When we need help, she is there. Shay of course is the only appropriate housing manager. Back to SMARTS...
I learned a lot, and they looked out for me, in every single way you can imagine.
ARTS program is nice. You have to be sober sober. I like weed too much for that. But I did last 6 months, made some powerful friends, and had a true world class therapist, April Scruggs. Who deserves a key to the city of Dallas, honestly. She guided me through a madness, back into sanity, just to break me through the fourth wall of the truth and help me achieve hypersanity.
The group home mental health program is great. It protected me and served me, while I dealt with continued trauma because my older brother decided to turn his brains into spaghetti with a gun pewpew. I miss him but he's not gone. Anyways. Tara is the most well organized boss and case worker i know. Erin is a bad ass. Shout out to Crisis, Andrew is a legend and Nate from everywhere is an angel. Mitchell is sweet and so warm. The receptions are lovely. The security relaxed. Kidding. It's a very well protected building. They also have the drop in center, which is useful for picking up new clothes, taking a shower, eating lunch, or just socializing with comrades and nomads. The living room? So peaceful. The staff there are top notch at listening to your needs, and you can have anywhere between 8-24 hours depending on your situation to camp there, charge your phone, and sleep. Pastor Rice is a legend. If I missed any names I'm sorry. Oh yeah, Ian. Anyways love you guys keep it up! Oh and shout out to my ACT team when they start talking to me! Level 4 squad

Call for Help helped me and my 16 year old daughter during a time when we were homeless
Not only did they help us they gave us resources for furniture and paid our rent for 18 months through Rapid Rehousing

I will never forget the generosity shown to us through the United Way via Call for Help; my daughter and I were broken
It was domestic violence
I found that I didn’t need a man over me and my child to make me Happy, I was Happier without him
It would take the courage of walking out for me to discover it;
Greatness Reached over Oppression through Wisdom
Because of this organization, I was able to continue to GROW
I will spend the rest of my life Paying it Forward; even if it takes every dime I have💯, Giving to others as the United Way gave to me, to Lift the World to GROW
