Rude nuse carol, she is very unhelpful, not well educated about meds, gets angery and frustrated, Dr only comes in twice a week, actually she's on video, pushes clients through quickly, prescribed wrong meds, makes clients . more sick doesn't check med interactions probably doesn't care much. They all are paid through medicare, so this maybe why bridgeway is so poor in mental health care. Nurse can't call talk to the doctor if you have a problem with the meds, the nurse will not call the doctor, told to wait until next appointment that's a month later you don't know what to do feeling more depressed on the meds they put you on. But told to stay on them until next appointment. They tell you to call 911. They wait really until you have a crisis. Very poor inadequate actually damaging health care, shut it down, don't waste government money anymore on this place. Or someone of an higher authority make extreme improvements. I also left my counselor who yawned during my sesson she yawned with being tierd and I felt she was bored with me she yawned constantly

I love coming to Heartland in Pekin for my checkups and visits for any gynecological things. Dr. Maddie is the best. She gentle, caring, patient and thorough in all of the work that she does. As a patient of TMS for only 10 sessions now, I can say this is slowly changing my life. I recommend this treatment through Vera French to anyone that is struggling with medication management and is struggling with their depression. I've tried so many medications for my depression that have not worked for me and felt this may be an option. I also work in one of the facilities and find that both being a patient, and a worker of this company is very helpful and fulfilling. Please consider TMS with Vera French as a highly recommended solution for hard to cure depression. It truly is amazing!!!!!!

I have been a patient for years. The low stars can be somewhat attributed to the fact that many of the people they help are mentally ill. The care we have here is the envy of the entire State of Iowa. While not everyone who has ever worked there has been as awesome as the people who do now. The people who work there now, really are awesome. They are doing their best with low pay and a high case load so be kind.

My sister had came through the er because of severe gallbladder pain. She was told she had to have an emergency gallbladder removal surgery and moved to the Peds unit because she is younger (20) yr . At the time she was 3 hrs away from me and has no family out here. Until I was able to get to her the nurses and surgical team talked her through everything they were doing. Made her feel at home and safe. Kandace was her nurse twords the end of her stay till her discharge . She was very informative, super supportive, knowledgeable, helpful, and just an all around amazing employee. I couldn’t thank this hospital enough for how they helped my sister through this because i know it was scary not having any one out here at the time. This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

This is my second time at Care Addiction Center, I wasn’t ready to change the first time back in 2019. This time I made the decision that I was going to do whatever was recommended of me, which is why I reached out. Matt Goff who runs the facility, welcomed me back with open arms after messaging him this second time around when I needed help. He didn't message me back he picked up the phone and called me! Their wasn't an ounce of judgement in his voice, just pure concern for my well-being, and he remembered details of my time there from 6 years ago. 100's of people have come through that facility in that timeframe, and he picked up from 6 years ago remembering me without missing a beat. Not only that, but I got in to meet with him the next day, and I was in a seat at the facility for IOP the next night. Which was a huge relief, and a large weight had been lifted off my shoulders knowing that I was in great hands. Alice is another amazing person at this facility. She has been my guide through this very difficult process of recovery, and is one of the finest therapist’s I have had the pleasure to work with. She leads groups on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and does family groups on Saturday, along with her individual sessions as well. She figured me out the first day I met her, which was refreshing and much needed. She understands how confusing and overwhelming addiction can be, but breaks it down in a way that makes sense, and keeps things simple for a brain that is healing itself. It was meant to be for me to cross paths with Alice. Torri is another phenomenal person at the facility, and a therapist at the facility that leads the groups on Mondays and Thursdays along with her individual sessions with clientele here. Her infectious laugh, and incredible intelligence in all modalities of the recovery process will make you want to click your pen and take as many notes as possible to learn how to overcome this disease of addiction. She will tell it how it is, but give you a hug when you need it. Nurse Jerry is one of the kindest down to earth people you will also meet during your time here. During the medical assessment he not only performed all the necessary medical exams with pure professionalism, and integrity. But he also had a heart to heart conversation with me, that made me feel welcome, and let me know that I was not alone in this process. There was no rush, just cared about my overall well-being which to me is huge. I don't take these reviews lightly, especially for something as serious as addiction. But if you want to take the first step, or whatever step you are on in order to change your life, then this is place for you. They will do everything they can to help you succeed, but you have to want it! Thank you everyone at the Care Addiction Center, you have truly changed my life and I can't wait to see what else I can learn from you guys over the beginning of my recovery process, and the rest of my life! Thanks Again For Everything, Kelly Scott Harm Jr.

After 10 years of battling addiction to various drugs I went to ECS for 28 days of rehab. It was a life changing experience that started on 11/29/2018. I have been in recovery for nearly 2 years now. I’ve become close with my family and opened a personal training business helping men in rehab and employing men in recovery. I have also gotten my position as a general foreman back at my regular Job as well as my freedom in my life and am a better man than I have ever been thanks to the counselors, staff and Dr Sharma at ECS. A 6 year sober and in recovery update. I am now making over a quarter million a year with a Fortune 500 company, have kids who love and respect me again, 2 homes in 2 states, real friendships and a life beyond my wildest dreams. I was homeless 6.5 years ago. It all started with E.C.S. and im still a part of the community they have there that Doc started. Grateful

I'm an alcoholic, have been for years. I got treatment before I decided to give the Gateway, Iopc,a try. Im not religious and religion isnt pushed at GateWay Iopc, which is why i gave it a try. My Dr suggested it so I decided to do that treatment after my detox. Also my counselor Dan in the Joliet office is a great counselor. I, like most people are closed off when going thru this process. Eventually you will begin to open up when you see there is several other people dealing and going thru a similar situation as yourself. And believe me Im the most closed off person there is. You may not agree with all of it, as I didn't, but there are parts that's help. Everyone is dealing with something different and everyone is affected differently. Focus on yourself and don't let outside influences stop you from what you want.

In all honesty people may talk down on greendale staff and the place that gave them a place to lay there head because they don't like rules which if they can't handle the rules and feed back that would help them out in life then that's on them and I wasn't too crazy about coming here seven months ago and I'm going on my 8th month and wanted to leave on my 2nd month but if you give the staff a chance to talk to them and interact with them then you would think twice about listening to others how horrible it is here which it isn't at all. I actually learned a lot here. I learned patience which I had none at all well very little when I got here now I can stand in line at a gas station for a hour and don't mind but what I'm trying to say is greendale helped me a lot and the staff does listen to your needs and concerns and everyone handles things differently in a positive way of course. Also they made me look at everyone isn't all bad people and everyone does things differently it's just that you want to change or be stuck at the bottom and they honestly opened my eyes and made me see the glass is always full and ever half full anywhere u go there's going to be that person who doesn't like something or someone well guess what that's life and if you want to change and I was very stubborn person words goes in one ear out the other and as time went on isnt like that for me anymore here not to kiss butt well put this if you want the help and want to stay clean and sober greendale and greendale staff is here 24/7 for who ever also the residents is pretty cool too.

It took a little over a week for them to first get in touch, but genuine apology was expressed and it seemed like unique circumstances. The evaluation process with Shelley was along the lines of what I expected. Having given thorough histories for other reasons before, I did not find it to be overly invasive. Thorough, not overly time- consuming. Fact- focused, not judgmental. At the end of the evaluation, I was told it may take a week to hear anything. It took longer, but I've my attorney reached out to remind Tools For Life, the response was prompt. Can't give five stars yet because I am still waiting for the last phase of this process to be completed, but so far good people to work with.

Steve helped my daughter with the early intervention counseling program. He made the program relatable to her situation and really helped her understand the outside influences. She successfully completed the program and is still making the right choices and cutting people off that can effect her sobriety.
