I have never had a problem at the Robert Young center. They are not perfect, but no one is perfect. However I really do not like talking to a television screen instead of face to face with a person. This is very impersonal like talking to a robot.

The people who did my intake interview, my therapist, my psychiatrist and the receptionists have always been lovely to me. I have had issues with my appointments getting canceled with short notice, or no notice at all. I had several psychiatry appointments canceled on me in a row and wasn't seen for about 9 months, but I was still able to get my medication because it wasn't my fault the appointments were missed. when you call the nurses line to refill meds during business hours it always goes to voicemail, but i think that its supposed to be like that, and i prefer not having to chat with someone anyways it seems like this way its more time efficient for the patient to say what they need, and a voicemail makes it easier for the staff to check back and make sure they have all of their information correct. sometimes the system is kind of janky and things don't work out, but everywhere is like that so its no biggie. The connections with the people that you are working with to get better is really important, and I feel that this can be found here. it really sucks to see all the reviews about having bad experiences with people, but luckily I've never had any bad experiences like that. I think a concerning amount of mental health facilities have issues with how they treat people who are doing inpatient or seeking that sort of support and suicide watch and stuff in the US are just notoriously sucky everywhere. but i was in the waiting room for a few hours waiting for my ride to pick me up one time and I saw the receptionists trying to find a bunch of resources and facilities for someone seeking inpatient for their daughter and she let her use their buildings phone so that the phone number made it more likely for her to get through to those other facilities which seemed super kind. everybody just seems like they are trying to do their best and help people in everyway they can. based on these other reviews i don't know if id recommend this place for inpatients, but for therapy and psychiatry its pretty fine, i have no complaints.

It is with a heavy heart I must say this place has officially closed down for good. Yes they had their issues but if the QC really knew what these 3 people put in to save so many lives. Dr. Doyle is an absolute saint. For at least the last 5 yrs this man has been keeping this place open and staffed out of his own pocket while losing members of his own family. Dr. Ron Christian is a phenomenal program director/therapist. He was always there for me no matter what and always with the best advice. Dr. Randy Doyle is one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. My father has been his patient for years. Despite the complexity of my dad's problems, Dr. Doyle has always been there for him. He is thoughtful, genuine and truly cares for each of his patients. He has years of experience and is a great problem solver. Although he is in his office only one day per week, he is an excellent provider. If you are looking for a patient and caring doctor, look no further.

As a patient of TMS for only 10 sessions now, I can say this is slowly changing my life. I recommend this treatment through Vera French to anyone that is struggling with medication management and is struggling with their depression. I've tried so many medications for my depression that have not worked for me and felt this may be an option. I also work in one of the facilities and find that both being a patient, and a worker of this company is very helpful and fulfilling. Please consider TMS with Vera French as a highly recommended solution for hard to cure depression. It truly is amazing!!!!!!

My sister had came through the er because of severe gallbladder pain. She was told she had to have an emergency gallbladder removal surgery and moved to the Peds unit because she is younger (20) yr . At the time she was 3 hrs away from me and has no family out here. Until I was able to get to her the nurses and surgical team talked her through everything they were doing. Made her feel at home and safe. Kandace was her nurse twords the end of her stay till her discharge . She was very informative, super supportive, knowledgeable, helpful, and just an all around amazing employee. I couldn’t thank this hospital enough for how they helped my sister through this because i know it was scary not having any one out here at the time. Each time I have a reason to go to Genesis West, I am treated with respect, efficiency and given great attention from the physician and medical staff. The nurses, tho busy do an extremely good job of performing their duties. The x-ray technicians and others are quick to get you through your test and are extremely respectful of you privacy and your immediate needs. I wouldn't select any other hospital besides for Genesis West and East.

After a long search for a good therapist, Tom has been the most helpful tool in my life. His experience and care shows through his work. Misty, the receptionist, is also the best receptionist I've ever met. She knows me by name as soon as I walk in and is always helpful with any needs or questions I have. In all honesty people may talk down on greendale staff and the place that gave them a place to lay there head because they don't like rules which if they can't handle the rules and feed back that would help them out in life then that's on them and I wasn't too crazy about coming here seven months ago and I'm going on my 8th month and wanted to leave on my 2nd month but if you give the staff a chance to talk to them and interact with them then you would think twice about listening to others how horrible it is here which it isn't at all. I actually learned a lot here. I learned patience which I had none at all well very little when I got here now I can stand in line at a gas station for a hour and don't mind but what I'm trying to say is greendale helped me a lot and the staff does listen to your needs and concerns and everyone handles things differently in a positive way of course. Also they made me look at everyone isn't all bad people and everyone does things differently it's just that you want to change or be stuck at the bottom and they honestly opened my eyes and made me see the glass is always full and ever half full anywhere u go there's going to be that person who doesn't like something or someone well guess what that's life and if you want to change and I was very stubborn person words goes in one ear out the other and as time went on isnt like that for me anymore here not to kiss butt well put this if you want the help and want to stay clean and sober greendale and greendale staff is here 24/7 for who ever also the residents is pretty cool too.

Registration staff are great. Nurses are caring and professional. The doctors I’ve had are awful. Dr D T. Does not listen when I explain why I have come in she literally waves me off and says stop worrying, you’re ok. And I’m on my way. I have met with Dr. V. R. About severe pain in my left shoulder. She listens very kindly. Never looks at the site of pain where there is large lump. I got second opinion at UW and neurologist referred me to physical therapist because of swelling and pressure on nerve. This is starting to help and give me relief.

I had a great experience here. More restrictive than other places, but if you're serious about recovery I think it's necessary. Staff was great even though they're short a counselor. Everybody there really cares about each and every person.
