The outpatient program at Rosecrance has been invaluable to my recovery. Dominique demonstrates an authentic commitment to helping me, and others in the group, maintain our sobriety. Whether it is through therapeutic programming, providing resources to enable our recovery, or just simply by helping navigate confusing financial aid forms, she is all in and wants to see her clients succeed. When Steve has had to fill in, on days Dominique was not here, he did the same. They both really just seem to care but also hold you accountable if you are not helping yourself. I arrived at Compass after dealing with anxiety and depression for years. I ve also been part of the therapy offered by the psych community and believe in self growth, discovery, and moving forward. Having said this, I had some areas in myLife especially post divorce, that were keeping me from thriving.And I ve tried many things including reading books, talking with loved ones and of course, therapy. Still, I needed more. I knew this within my mind.I believe the anxiety and depression track at Compass helped me to define my values which were hidden beneath my anxiety and years of maladaptive behaviors. Those behaviors are ingrained. And we all have things that hold us back.With the group setting I had the chance to hear of others struggles and that helped to normalize my own challenges and help me to truly understand, I m not alone.I also had once or twice weekly sessions with a primary therapist and a family therapist which helped me define some boundaries post divorce that I was being to casual about.Additionally, I made huge strides in understanding myself better and aligning my goals with who I am and it continues to help me have a guide for daily living. That guide for me includes the self care we all to often put aside in the name of responsibility and roles that we are in, and I ve been so so guilty of this. And some other things I won t define here.This experience has been great for me and I put in work and effort to get results.For anyone ready to make some serious change within themselves and around their views, this is a great place to learn more about yourself. Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

I've been going to Family Guidance for the last 16 months. August 2nd I got off the train from St. Louis and started down the road for recovery. I've been using for the last 30 years. With the help of my counselor at Family Guidance I have been able to abstain from drug use and have turned a corner allowing me to say farewell to everyone at family guidance.

Such a transformative experience! Naturally, the reviews you read for addiction treatment centers are going to skew negative but don't let that deter you if you believe you need help. Not only did I have an amazing experience with staff, I've built a strong foundation of community among my peers who were also seeking treatment. While encouraged by their use of an evidenced-based model, the incorporation of the 12-steps had me skeptical at first but now I'm fully committed. If you feel the 12 steps aren't for you, they also provide information about alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Recovery Dharma. My one complaint would be that I had chosen to participate in the in-person IOP during intake, but was somehow placed into the virtual IOP. Once it was recognized it was a quick fix and it didn't impact my start date or anything like that.

I was there on March 3, 2025, with severe pain in my foot because a shelf fell on it, and I stepped on a screw. I can say that they helped me they did various examinations, relieved the pain, and prescribed me more medication to continue treatment at home. I m grateful for the help, but it took way too long. I arrived at 11 p.m. and left at 6 a.m., even though there were hardly any other people seeking medical attention. I feel like they could have done everything much faster. Overall, the service was very good, but just too slow.

A customer satisfaction coordinator reached out to me regarding a concern and did not follow through. I called 4 times starting a few months ago and have not received a return call. My messages were courteous. My issue was never addressed and I have been repeatedly ignored. I’m disappointed that the person who handles issues is not addressing my recent 2 issues. With the exception of my last two concerns I have been pleased with my care, which is why my recent experiences have been disappointing. Customer care extends beyond the facility. I am very disappointed.

I have been here for 3 1/2 weeks in the ICU(153). My medical care has been excellent from many doctors and nurses! The therapy is mediocre and RT s in general are quite poor. The RT s in general speak very little English so most of the time I just did my own treatments. The strength of the medical care overshadowed the weaker areas. One other strength is it is the best hospital food I have ever had and I'm a picky eater!!

EXCELLENT!!! My mother who does not speak English needed to have Cataract surgery done .the same day surgery staff was very supportive and made things easier .Procedure went well and no issues at all ..very grateful to the whole team!!!

They took great care of me. However, I had severe bruising all overy arms from them missing my vein for IV. I mean serious bruising in multiple spots. Also, some employee on the rehab floor yelled at my daughter for hugging me. We had no idea we couldn't hug. It was embarrassing. Finally the food in the med floor was consistently cold. The food on the rehab floor was hottish but I was missing food that I ordered all the time I was there. Thanks

I've been here twice... Certainly the best 28 day program in the area. Two amazing counselors who educate residence on addiction and push and motivate them to be better. I am grateful to this place however ashamed that I relapsed again after two stays here. They certainly did there best... And do not take into account the bad reviews. If you've been to several programs and treatment centers around Chicago then you know HAS is one of the better ones.HAS, Keep up the good work and thank Hose for giving me so many chances, you guys help those who want it. I hope I can visit on better terms someday!

I was there and now im 3 years clean. Good place to go if your serious and ready to find a new way to live. I'm forever thankful to all the counselors and the cooks who took there time on showing love and helping me get out of that hell I was in.. I still miss that church they used to take us every other weekend with Pastor Steve still can't find it. God bless and stay safe...
