St Greg s saved my life. I went there on the verge of suicide from depression and anxiety treated with alcohol. I am an alcoholic. The comprehensive program offered there helped me to heal my mind, body and spirit focusing on my spirituality, exercise, diet, meditation and CBT.I encourage you to really dive into each of these areas while there. I am 156 days sober today. I have been using a combination of therapy, sober apps, online and in-person AA. I ve been working out 5 days a week- outside if possible, eating better, staying hydrated, getting enough rest and relying on my Higher Power to lead me, and I haven t had a single true craving for alcohol since I left treatment. It has truly been a miracle.

I was blessed to be able to come to St Gregory Recovery Center for help with alcohol addiction. I am over one year sober now thanks to the caring and knowledgeable staff. Their approach is evidence based and scientific, but also faith based. I experienced God working in my life to help take away my urges to drink and change my thought patterns. I also learned to live the 7 virtues with a great group of peers who all supported each other! I went to Orchard Place on October 14th of 2022, and I was discharged on April 24th of 2023. It s been a tad over a year since then, so I m finally gonna type a review.Orchard Place is not what people say it is. People will complain and say it was utterly horrible and everyone there sucks. Although, even though it s whoever s opinion that said that, it s wrong. (Jkjk.)For a 6 month and 10 day stay there, I can CONFIDENTLY say that all of the staff, despite the house or grade you re in, are the most kind people you will ever come across. Yes, they play by the book for structure and seem strict, but they re just doing their job. All of the staff in the houses, TC, school, etc. etc. They re all great. At Orchard Place, while helping you learn to manage your behaviors, traumas, and whatnot, the staff will teach you proper discipline, management, life skills, etc. They also give you options for anything and everything. Everyone has a different mind with different problems, and Orchard Place accommodates to that opinion (of sorts?).Overall, Orchard Place is more than helpful. I would definitely recommend going there if you genuinely need it.

No matter what the need is - from a regular check-up to a full-blown emergency (I've had several of both) - the care team is ready and always professional. My primary doctor is Dr. Arbalaez. I have had nothing but good experiences here. Some of the doctors are rude and seem uncaring tho. I had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy done. Was barely sedated and awake through the entire thing. It was traumatizing. They didnt listen to me when I said it hurt. They treated me like I did something wrong. This was the 10th time ive had this done and only one other time did I have such an awful experience and it was when I, just like this time, told the doctors that the medication they were giving me would not work with me. They did not listen. I know what does and does not work for me. This was their first time encountering me for one of these there and they should of listened to me and also checked my past medical records from other hospitals. What I think it was is the fact I am a recovering addict who has been clean since 2017, but once you get that term..addict.. on your records... doesnt matter how much clean time you have... you will ALWAYS be treated like an addict and less than human. The hospital itself is great, I should clarify it was the doctor from McFarland medical clinic, the GI guy... Larry Johnston, who I blame for all of this. Dont go see him if you dont want to be traumatized from something that should be simple. He even gives an abnormal prep. Will never go back and will do everything I can to inform people to not go to him.

YSS saved my life, then gave me purpose in life. I was a very troubled kid, a burden on society, and my parents were at their wit's end. They were desperate when they turned to YSS. And while I fought it at first (couldn't stand authority), I eventually surrendered to the program/the process and my life turned 180 degrees.
Today, as a person in long-term recovery, my purpose is to create hope and opportunities for others that are struggling.
So very grateful to YSS, as they believed in me more than I believed in myself.

I have NEVER found a place more phenomenal than Clearview to start my road to recovery!
