This review is going for the advocate who’s been very helpful to me in the past few weeks! Her name is Alicia Beltman. She deserves nothing but a big raise! She does so much more for her clients than any one else who works there realizes! When I was staying in a motel, she was checking on me daily making sure I was okay. She has provided me resources. She helped me fill out applications for housing programs and applications to get into my home. She does a lot more than she’s required to do. This woman deserves a raise and a promotion. She actually cares about her job and clients. If you are ever homeless and need to get back on your feet, I’d recommend talking to Alicia!! Thank you for everything you did Alicia!

Dr.Neibauer is my primary care physician and I was seeing her for my annual physical. She is very professional and thorough. She does an excellent job of listening and explaining the various issues I am dealing with.

Absolutely amazing place, with an amazing group of guys! The speakers were amazing and I am truly grateful to have experience everything their🙏🏻... I made friends that I will have for the rest of my life. & Amazing staff, I would absolutely recommend for anyone struggling or for any loved ones you know that are struggling.
I have been going to Bartles for years. Jennie has be WONDERFUL to talk to. She has been such an amazing help in all the things I've been delt with over the years!!! Getting an appointment has been a breeze with awesome staff helping to get me on the schedule and being flexible!

I am so thankful for Bartels Counseling. They have provided countless practical tools and steps as I have gone through my journey toward personal health and wellness. In addition to their great knowledge and expertise in counseling, they are very organized and provide timely response to any questions and scheduling conflicts. I would and do recommend them to anyone looking for a welcoming environment with a practical and effective counseling approach.
It starts with a single step. If you are having issues with alcohol/substance use, I highly recommend Tallgrass. It's a safe place to start having Hope again. Safe journeys to you . This facility is a caring and dedicated community; along with quality support team. This facility has provided support for people in need. Please reach out to them if you need assistance or have questions. They are very responsive to inquiries. Hugs for the staff and support team. Thank you for all you do at Tall Grass and for making a difference in so many lives. I know a beautiful young lady went through treatment at Tallgrass. Her family is very blessed that she found Tallgrass Recovery; this family loves her and her beautiful heart. Definitely, check this facility out.
As with most mental health facilities, some of the practitioners are cold and uncaring while others pour their hearts into their work. One significant pro is that the rooms are private. Just be aware that the staff will constantly be checking on you if you are in your room alone. Sometimes this disrupts sleep and they will not care about leaving your door open and the light shining in.
If you are coming here due to legal reasons or need to just escape the traumas of modern living, I do think that a few weeks stay has the potential to heal much.
Doing the 90 day program, though, of course, is labor intensive and exhausting.
The rules and regulations of the Eleva Care handbook are restrictive because they've had people violate minute rules and minutiae and get away with inappropriate behavior.
Overall, staff really helped me get my head on straight and I am very grateful to have gotten back in touch with my true self and connect with inner values that I hold.
If you're having severe and persistent mental illness, I do recommend this treatment facility. I found the experience of being here for a sustained length of time to be very humanizing.

Was there about 20 years ago it was the best decision I made I wish I could go back cuz I could use it now. Met a lot of good people through that program. We all go through tough times in life in a place like this really helps you just got to give it a chance. Don't give up and get help.

Dr. Hillman is a wonderful doctor whom I just started seeing at Avera in Worthington. She is kind and takes time with me to figure out meds and what will work the best for me and my situation. I'm so glad to have her as my physician!

Many of the people posting negative comments are not complaining about Avera, they are complaining about a particular doctor. The trick here, as it is in every clinic in the country, is getting a doctor (what we used to call a GP I guess) that's right for you. I have Dr. Lilgaroth, she is great, so I gave 5 stars. My wife has had bad experiences in the past with so many male drs (the old "you're a woman & I'm both a man AND a doctor, so I'm gonna ignore what you say") that she finally demanded a female doctor, and that happened to work out great for her. Gender may not have been the reason, she may just have got a great dr-- the important thing is, my wife was comfortable with her. When her female dr retired, she ended up with a male dr (Dr Gunderson, I believe?) and she says he is great. Ya just gotta shop around and get a doc that is a fit for you-- that is true of any clinic, not just Avera. But I've also had pretty much all positive experiences with other parts of the clinic-- reception, labs, nurses, Avera hospitals, even the money people. (Btw, I'm not a nice guy or a pollyanna; I am by nature an extremely demanding pain in the, uh, rear.)

I think this is the place I needed to help me with recovery and to help me survive to be here for my kids and the future. Nurses and staff are fantastic and im going on my 5th year of sobriety because of these guys. Thanks a bunch and keep up the good fight BAART!

I highly recommend if you are struggling with addiction to opiates/heroin. If you want to change your life around don't hesitate The doctor is amazing and listens. The Nurses are so sweet. I'm going to miss one of the Nurses it's her last day. Also the counselors are all great people. I enjoy going talking to my counselor.

Excellent place for healing and restoration. The Avera Team are just that, they work together very well for the care of every individual. You are guided to recovery day by day You can trust in them.

The staff was caring and understanding of my recovery. They helped me with getting to know my addiction and how to recognize the triggers. They also help with getting your life back in order...but you have to go with the HOPE of getting help.

While traveling through Luverne, my wife and son were in an accident and taken to the ER. Dr. Canfield was absolutely wonderful—kind, compassionate, and thorough. The kid had a rash or fungus on his face not even 30 minutes we were off to Louis drugs to pick up his medication luverne medical staff on it for sure
I have not heard of or used southeastern directions for life, but a therapist named Tyler came to meet with a family member of mine when she was in a crisis. After they finished talking my cousin was in a much better mood and I felt better knowing she has somewhere to turn to in times of need. Thank you.

We've been using SBH for a few years and I am extremely satisfied. My son has difficulties trusting and opening up (as well as others), and his counselor has been amazing at gaining his trust and doesn't push him too hard. I've seen some positive changes since beginning and couldn't be happier with them!
