This facility is a caring and dedicated community; along with quality support team. This facility has provided support for people in need. I just did my 28 day treatment and I loved every minute I was there. The counselors (especially Tony, Beth, Kendra and Krista) are wonderful, the techs, the nursing staff, everyone was so kind and helpful. It is the greatest place I never want to go to again!!

I have not been through drug rehab nor do I think that I need it? I do think that this facility is helpful I feel like the psychologists are down to earth and understanding, especially the 20+ year psychologists. They are so good that they don't have to take notes; while you are in a session. Makes it feel like you're just talking with your girlfriend, very calming.
It was court ordered that I took mandatory counseling when I was a teenager. I feel bad for my counseler, because of my demeanor, being a immature teenager. I worry she felt like our sessions were unproductive and a waste of her time.
The facility and Yankton is a little bit more tucked away it's in between the prison and Broadway street. It's not on a main road. The facility in Vermillion, South Dakota is right on Main Street. In front of the court house you cannot miss it.

Chief medical Charles Tilly is my doctor who prescribes most of my medications. I went their in 2019 after going to a facility in 2019 and when I got back home I was still seeing him. But when I went to spirit lakes facility for plains area... it was horrible. But we ain't talking about plains area spirit lake we talking about le Mars iowa plains area. Anyways... my doctor before I went to Charles tilly I was basically I was put on a good amount of medications and it was awful x.x but until I saw Charles tilly, he said to me that my main goal is to put you on less medications as possible. Also with my last recent visit via zoom, he said that he knows I don't do well in hospitals and he just wants me to stay right where I am. That's with my good mother. Plus he knows alot about natives. (I don't know how though) But when I get so nervous before an appointment with him, and when the appointment comes he talks in a very calming way and for some reason I can open up to him and I'm super calm. Like being nervous to calm in an instant. I don't know how he does his magical powers but he does. To be honest... I think he has a gift spiritually. Also he's a really good doctor for medications. Also my therapist Angela Nilles is a cool beans therapist. I love her so much. ^-^

I love Plains in LeMars. When I moved out here 11years ago, I was having trouble finding someone to help with my meds. I became a patient of another well known facility in the area that over medicated me. I couldn't function anymore. So my regular doctor recommended "PA Tilley" as she called him. PA Tilley literally saved my life! I would recommend him in a heart beat. When I moved back home in 2014 I pretty much moved back out here in 2017 for a couple of reasons and PA Tilley was one of them. His "cocktail" as I call it worked for me and other docs wanna to mess with it. Nobody messes with my cocktail! 😉 Thanks PA Tilley, I enjoy coming to see you and love having a fellow East Coast native who understands me!!

As with most mental health facilities, some of the practitioners are cold and uncaring while others pour their hearts into their work. One significant pro is that the rooms are private. Just be aware that the staff will constantly be checking on you if you are in your room alone. Sometimes this disrupts sleep and they will not care about leaving your door open and the light shining in.
If you are coming here due to legal reasons or need to just escape the traumas of modern living, I do think that a few weeks stay has the potential to heal much.
Doing the 90 day program, though, of course, is labor intensive and exhausting.
The rules and regulations of the Eleva Care handbook are restrictive because they've had people violate minute rules and minutiae and get away with inappropriate behavior.
Overall, staff really helped me get my head on straight and I am very grateful to have gotten back in touch with my true self and connect with inner values that I hold.
If you're having severe and persistent mental illness, I do recommend this treatment facility. I found the experience of being here for a sustained length of time to be very humanizing.

Beau, Fry in the OBGYN he also works amazing with kids . When I was pregnant he always made sure my mind was always at ease and make sure everything is fine. For my kids he always goes far to make sure everything is fine and he also looks at everything that may could be wrong. I would like to thank Darcy and Emily with the oncology department for their care and treatment of my mother, Josephine Wilson, during her battle with breast cancer. They both were so gentle and caring when they hooked mom's treatments up and made sure she was comfortable and warm. I have never met such sweet nurses in my life. I hope that they can be recognized for their excellent work in nursing care.

The staff was caring and understanding of my recovery. They helped me with getting to know my addiction and how to recognize the triggers. They also help with getting your life back in order...but you have to go with the HOPE of getting help.

Healing began at the well for me back in 2015 when I did inpatient treatment. Then outpatient therapy in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 & 2024. My life is forever changed and the counselors helped me with my BPD diagnosis. Thankfully they have therapists who specialzie in BPD.
