"I cannot say enough good things about Amy Wetzel and my med staff nurse, Susan. Amy is a wonderful, kind, and caring professional who genuinely listens. From my very first appointment, I felt acknowledged and comfortable. I tend to ramble and jump from topic to topic, but Amy’s ability to keep up with me is astonishing! She is the first person in many years who has actually listened to how I feel and taken the time to truly get to know me. I never feel rushed or like I’m just a 'time slot' on her calendar. While I wish I had started seeing her back in 2021, I am so grateful to have her now; I wouldn't want to see anyone else. Susan has been my med staff nurse for five years, and she has been amazing since day one. She knows me so well and is incredibly patient and great at her job. I never have to worry about communication because both Amy and Susan respond to me in a very timely manner. With both of these women, I feel like a person, not just a patient. They clearly care about their work beyond it just being a 'job.' They both deserve more than five stars, and I hope High Plains realizes how lucky they are to have them on staff. Thank you, Amy and Susan, for everything you do!"

At first I didn't have a great experience but as the ER staff got to know me and understand my anxiety they are extremely helpful and kind, Dr. Strunk has seen me many times and is very reassuring and helpful and will run test to help me feel better and talk to me and help me understand what I'm going through. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel cared about. And heard, and not just written off as you have anxiety to go home.

Ive a frequent flyer at this ER and I always had a great experience staff is always friendly... Lisa is by far the BEST Dr to receive treatment from, I also had Dr. Strunk she was incredibly rude, dismissive, asked me what was so important I had to come to the ER and not a Dr visit at the clinic, she talked to me like I was incoherent, she made me feel extremely stupid for going, didn't run any test only had vitals checked and ears checked, she made me feel so bad I never wanted to go to this ER AGAIN or scared I would get her again if I had to go back. But LISA IS AMAZING VERY INFORMATIVE, CARING, EXPLAINS THINGS SO YOU UNDERSTAND, HAS SO MUCH COMPASSION FOR HER PATIENTS! Don't let one crappy Dr discourage you from this ER.

I remember driving my stepdad to inpatient treatment in 2018, and then taking my brother to treatment in 2021. Addiction impacted our family deeply, but Valley Hope was there during some of our most difficult moments. After completing inpatient treatment, my stepdad continued with Valley Hope's outpatient program, and that ongoing support was vital to helping him maintain his sobriety. Having a continuum of care made a tremendous difference in his recovery journey. Valley Hope has been instrumental in our family's life. The care, compassion, and support they provided helped change the course of our loved ones' lives, and we will forever be grateful for the impact they have had on our family. Thank you for giving people hope and the tools they need to build lasting recovery.

Do not bring your loved ones to Oakwood. They left me passed out in their hallway for 18 hours. My actual doctor was 2 miles away. They never got in touch with my actual provider. And Oakwood doctor, Dr. Cunningham messed up really bad with wrong medicine. It took over 6 months for my real doctor to clean up his damage he caused. If you have to go there, let your attorney and civil rights attorney know exactly where you are. Oakwood doesn't want you to know about your American Disabilities Act rights. Mental health care is so poor, and Oakwood is the problem, not a solution. In 2016, I was physically abused and tortured by Dr Al-botros at St. Anthony's. Don't trust evil people hiding behind a medical license trying to look like they help others. They manipulate, lie and play games with you, they are very disrespectful for people in general. Their abuse will give you PTSD like they did to me. Don't be next, don't give them a dime
