Ive a frequent flyer at this ER and I always had a great experience staff is always friendly... Lisa is by far the BEST Dr to receive treatment from, I also had Dr. Strunk she was incredibly rude, dismissive, asked me what was so important I had to come to the ER and not a Dr visit at the clinic, she talked to me like I was incoherent, she made me feel extremely stupid for going, didn't run any test only had vitals checked and ears checked, she made me feel so bad I never wanted to go to this ER AGAIN or scared I would get her again if I had to go back. But LISA IS AMAZING VERY INFORMATIVE, CARING, EXPLAINS THINGS SO YOU UNDERSTAND, HAS SO MUCH COMPASSION FOR HER PATIENTS! Don't let one crappy Dr discourage you from this ER.

This experience isn't about this hospital. Unfortunately it's about Pawnee County Hospital.
I went 3 weeks ago with shortness of breath. And the doctor told me I was dehydrated and walked out of the room and sent in the discharge nurse. I went to another hospital with a REAL DR. and they actually listened to what was wrong. They prescribed medicine that would keep my heart rate close to normal to keep me from dying. And referred me to a cardiologist who scheduled an ultrasound for the heart, stress test and monitor. But the appt days are still in the future.
Speed up to today.
I forgot to take my medicine this morning. But sitting in my office I didn't really notice it much. It got hard to breath sometimes but wasn't bad. Then I made the mistake of walking around the store. I walked maybe 30 yards and my heart rate SHOT UP. I went and got my medicine because I couldn't breathe then I came home to try and relax. But it kept getting worse. My body got tingly, my hands locked up. My whole body locked up. I couldn't move, talk, or do anything. My buddy called the ambulance and they took me to the ER. I have already had an ekg, blood test and xray. All normal. That's why I'm waiting on the other tests appts. But they did them all again anyways. Then the doctor comes in. This is IMPORTANT. he tells me that nothing is wrong. It's probably just a medicine I took. I told him I want another doctor. He chuckled, said there's not one. THEN WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM.
I was a 19D Cavalry Scout Forward Reconnaissance Dismount Team Leader. My body is trained to get through some tough stuff. I know when something is wrong with me. After being treated like that, if it happens again I would assume die on the kitchen floor before going back there.

I'm from Texas. Walked in cause I was sick. Checked in at front and was told to sit in a separate waiting room. Couple minutes later nurse (Kris) came into get work up. They had to access my records from Texas which only took a few minutes. NP came in checked me out , did covid test and was on the road. Positive test, they called in meds next day and heading home. Awesome care. and Thanks

I am always treated well by the Hutchinson staff. They are kind and concerned professionals. My calls get returned promptly and if they don't know the answer they find out they don't guess. Wheny blood pressure spiked they took me in immediately there were 5 staff people helping out. Great human beings at a time when that is becoming a scarcity.

I became an established patient with HPMHC in 2019 after going through a mental health crisis. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The front desk employees and billing department were always so kind and helpful. Most importantly, I had an incredible therapist and Doctor. Tara, my therapist was always so empathetic and is such a wonderful listener. She always gave the best advice and always validated my concerns and feelings. Dr. Karen was an incredible Doctor. She listened to my concerns and was able to find the perfect plan for me and my mental health. She always made me feel safe to express any concerns and questions I had regarding my plan/treatment. She is incredibly kind. I will forever feel blessed to have had such a wonderful team that has helped me grow tremendously in so many ways, they are a big part of where I am at today. Valley Hope has changed my life. I went from isolation in a motel room doing drugs, to being a productive citizen. I’ve been sober 54 days today and a huge part is because of Valley Hope. Valley hope is a wonderful treatment facility. Felt cared for in a very crucial and fragile state in my life. The meals were great and so was staff. The after care has stuck out tremendously too me. 6 months later and phoebe is still calling to check on me. What a place!

It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

I love the dccca family! From the inpatient staff, the outpatient staff, the child care people to the dccca family Preservation people they are all amazing! AND A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE KITCHEN STAFF! the food is to die for! At dccca you become one big happy family I enjoyed every minute my kids and I where there I would do it ALLL OVER AGAIN! This review is for the adult unit. My stay here was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was treated respectfully by staff the whole time, and came away with useful, practical tools to improve my mental health going forward. A few of the staff are absolutely exceptional and it's clear they were put on earth to do this job- Mr. Tracy, Ms. Melissa, Mr. Dan, and Ms. Dee Dee included. I received just as much help from the other patients as well, many of whom were caring and empathetic. It will be a great source of comfort in the future to know that this place is available should I ever need help again, I would not hesitate to go back. With that being said, your stay is absolutely what you make of it- to be truly successful you need to be proactive and actively participate in your own recovery.

Dr.Warren is the most caring MAT provider I've ever had the privilege of meeting. Out of hundreds of clients he remembers my name and goes out of his way to greet me whenever around and make sure he is accessible to each and every one of his patients to answer questions, encourage and build the best individual recovery plan for everyone possible. But let's not forget about his wonderful staff of amazing counselors, nurses and receptionists that go above and beyond to not only do the best job but build relationships with each and every patient. I've been to multiple MAT treatment centers but Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center is by far the in the business! If your looking for a place to set yourself up for successful long term sobriety then look no further, this is the place you'll call home... :)

When I entered through the hospital doors I first saw a check-in desk.After
Checking in another lady offered to guide me to the office of my appointment. I was immediately greeted when I got to Dr. Nabi's office. The wait wasn't long and everyone was very pleasant. There were beautiful Christmas trees in various areas of the hospital that I really enjoyed!
All of my test results were back by the next day. Every time I go to Integris I am pleased with my care.
