At first I didn't have a great experience but as the ER staff got to know me and understand my anxiety they are extremely helpful and kind, Dr. Strunk has seen me many times and is very reassuring and helpful and will run test to help me feel better and talk to me and help me understand what I'm going through. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel cared about. And heard, and not just written off as you have anxiety to go home.

Ive a frequent flyer at this ER and I always had a great experience staff is always friendly... Lisa is by far the BEST Dr to receive treatment from, I also had Dr. Strunk she was incredibly rude, dismissive, asked me what was so important I had to come to the ER and not a Dr visit at the clinic, she talked to me like I was incoherent, she made me feel extremely stupid for going, didn't run any test only had vitals checked and ears checked, she made me feel so bad I never wanted to go to this ER AGAIN or scared I would get her again if I had to go back. But LISA IS AMAZING VERY INFORMATIVE, CARING, EXPLAINS THINGS SO YOU UNDERSTAND, HAS SO MUCH COMPASSION FOR HER PATIENTS! Don't let one crappy Dr discourage you from this ER.

It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

AND A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE KITCHEN STAFF! the food is to die for! At dccca you become one big happy family I enjoyed every minute my kids and I where there I would do it ALLL OVER AGAIN! As someone who was terribly frightened of starting on the path to mental health recovery, Comcare made it very easy. The workers were patient with my inexperience and my intake was a breeze. My greatest fear was that I'd be treated as an attention-seeker, or foolish for having done my research. Instead, my intake practitioner was thoughtful and receptive, and agreed with my basic coverage of things; though I am not a skeptic of therapy, it was not what I needed. Referral to a medication consultation was quick and painless, as was that appointment. Above all, everything has been immensely affordable -- and more importantly, Comcare doesn't pressure you to cough up. I've never once been made to pay in office, or even asked to. I get my bill in the mail, and pay when I am able.

Wichita Detox felt like the reset button I didn’t know I needed. The whole vibe there was calm but no-nonsense — they didn’t sugarcoat things, but they weren’t harsh either. The detox part was rough (obviously), but the staff kept it manageable and kept checking on me like clockwork.What hit different was how real they were. No judgment, just help. Hello, my name is Jay/James Parks, I was a patient at this mental health facility 2 times, one for 4 months, and one for 3 weeks. The entire time I was there I was treated greatly, and was allowed to do most things the other reviews are saying they couldn’t. The staff were especially nice, and would only want the best for you. The food was also great, having what tasted like a 5- star meal served every day, and me having a family who has experience with most mental facility’s in Oklahoma, this one surpasses the rest. And people forget that if they/their kid does not find something fair, the grievance forms ARE something they look at. Overall, deserves a 5 star review.

I went here in January-Febuary, they really helped me talk through some of my toughest times, now I'm able to express my feelings and talk to my parents better. I have truly improved and I miss the staff because they were very nice, and really supportive. I miss the people I met and I hope they're doing well, I loved my therapist and she really helped me be able to express myself and feel better. I still have tough times but with the time I spent there, I've learned good skills and I'm able to work through them without falling back into the terrible places I've been before. I truly appreciate everything they did for me and I highly recommend them.

I am a 11 year old boy who went to meadow lake twice, each time it got better. My first time was 4 months - second was 3 weeks. They really cared about my health and well-being. Best place for intensive treatment! They will go above and beyond to get you where you need to be. All of the staff are great and knowledgeable. Shana, Elizabeth, Kari and Mrs. Linda are wonderful counselors. Can’t leave out Chanda and all of the techs. Awesome program and awesome people!

I sought out “A clear direction” after a horrible experience at a place called changing habits with the owner David. He was a narcissistic & inappropriate creep to say the least. After looking up a clear direction I was weary of having another bad experience, but upon going to their office I met with Mario who put me at ease from our first conversation. Mario is great but the real treasure there is Ms Dana🖤 She is such a light and conducts herself in a real and raw way. She’s not afraid of getting down to the core of things to help you. She brought me many laughs, insights, and real help during a turbulent time in my recovery. If I ever need treatment again A clear direction will absolutely be my first stop.

I took the Batterers Intervention Program (We renamed it Believe In Peace) taking this class changed my life. Changed my outlook on life and parenting. Changed how I see myself. Dana is amazing. Being in a group of women to learn and grow was just magical, empowering, just supportive. We cried for others and lifted up those who needed lifted. We shared the most vulnerable things with each other to let go of what was and embrace a new us. I completed my class and I still go back every so often to remember who I am and what I accomplished.
