As someone who was terribly frightened of starting on the path to mental health recovery, Comcare made it very easy. The workers were patient with my inexperience and my intake was a breeze. My greatest fear was that I'd be treated as an attention-seeker, or foolish for having done my research. Instead, my intake practitioner was thoughtful and receptive, and agreed with my basic coverage of things; though I am not a skeptic of therapy, it was not what I needed. Referral to a medication consultation was quick and painless, as was that appointment. Above all, everything has been immensely affordable -- and more importantly, Comcare doesn't pressure you to cough up. I've never once been made to pay in office, or even asked to. I get my bill in the mail, and pay when I am able.

I've had an excellent experience with Comcare during the past few months (as I've been inching my way thru a very difficult season of unexpected isolation & post trauma fear.) I've called their 24/7 crisis support 3x (when I simply needed words of support) and dropped in to the crisis center 3x (seeing a different crisis clinician each time), and each of those clinicians was *very professional, astutely skilled in helping me, compassionate, and encouraging. I've also been getting short term case worker support (weekly, with one clinician), which has been exceptionally helpful in giving me emotional support (and the *excellence describes her, too!). Definitely a 5 star experience for me, and I'm so grateful.

I have been going thru some really bad times right now. I went there this morning with alot of doubt and was very surprised how I was treated and cared. Lori was the lady that helped and listened to me. She honestly made me believe that they do care and help.

I got Jennifer, she was so caring, and very understanding. Coming form someone who struggles with mental health and has been to countless therapy appointments, I have felt heard from her

The staff at Sims have been super supportive and encouraging. Any time I have left a message, they have called me back within a few hours. They are compassionate, understanding, a truly care about people's sobriety. Thank you Sims-Kemper staff for being AWESOME!

The staff actually care about their clients by never making them feel judged. They equip addicts with so much knowledge on coping skills and information on why the human mind thinks like it does. Learning how to think properly was one of the most important steps that led to my recovery in 2019. If you want help, you have to practice what you learn!!!

I meet these wonderful gentlemen in 1989 when they had a treatment program out of stormont Vail hospital. It was one of the BEST learning experinces of my life. Thank you Randy and Jim. I'll never forget you guys......

Some are decent providers it’s like when u get a good vibe with a person out there they end up moving to a different job and it sucks I hope I can find a good counselor out there any suggestions anybody

The center has really changed a lot in a great way. They listen to us, have hired more people to help such as with our vitals and intake process. I love having my med providers they really listen to me and my concerns, my case manager is totally awesome, love the groups and I can't wait to see where the center goes!

I love my Dr Mary she is the sweetest doctor she can relate she is awesome at her job the only problem being is they cannot prescribe me the medicine I need because of some Corporation policy which is not cool because that is the medicine I've been on for years
