I fostered for 18 years for Saint Francis Community Services. The workers were amazing and always available to help and support when us when we needed it. Our Homes worker was always honest about the behaviors of the children they asked us to take and was very encouraging. They offered many training courses to help us better parent throughout the years.

This place has been such a beautiful resource for me and so many others. While it's not perfect, and does have areas of improvement just like any establishment does, I can truly say I am so grateful for the staff, programs and resources I have met and received while I have been here. They will help you get back your feet, but YOU have to be willing and able to WORK the steps to get to where you want to be. Both Tammy's are amazing, Mary is awesome, and so is Lilly! I can't express my gratitude enough towards this place and what it has done for me during a time of crisis and for it to help get me out of one of the roughest patches of my life. It was very difficult to walk through the doors to get the help I needed. At that time I was in denial that even had a problem. One of the best things that I did out of the gate was going around and meeting as many people as possible. I went to all the meetings that I could, and quickly learned of the disease that I was dealing with. I sat back and listened to everyone’s story and soon started to see why I was there. It took a couple of days for everything to sink in, and I started to digest all the information that I could. Every staff member was 100% behind me in the recovery process and offered all kinds of encouragement. I felt comfortable being there and was able to open up to staff and other addicts in recovery without being judged. I learned how to identify what triggers make me susceptible to my addiction. They provided me the tools necessary to fight off urges and remove myself from uncomfortable situations. I owe my life to Valley Hope in Moundridge. I was on the verge of losing everything and had no idea. My time there has made me a better husband, father, son, sibling and friend. I definitely look at people in a different view and do not judge as I have no idea what life they have been dealt with. I came away with a new mindset on life and met a lot of great people. From the staff and patients, I am now living a great sober life. Anyone that is struggling or know of someone struggling, VH Moundridge is the place to be. I went in broken, and came out with the chance of a better life and a newfound family. This family is always willing to take a phone call when in need. We all have to work together if we want a better life. Again, the staff is top notch, and all they want is for you to be successful. Don’t wait another day. This journey started off with a lot of unknowns, now it is my turn to hold myself accountable and live a sober life. There are many alumni functions to keep you in touch with the people that you have met, along with a sober environment. Seeing their progress keeps me determined that I can stay sober and maybe help someone else in need. I do love my new life and new way of living. I highly recommend taking this journey, it might just save your life like it did for me. Also want to mention that the food is really good!

In June of this year I had never been more broken and hopeless. I had no desire to live anymore. God gave me the power and willingness to give Valley Hope in Moundridge a chance. It was the greatest decision ive made. They were there for me and walked through all of my trauma with me. The staff was top notch. Through being there for me through my detox and then being there to walk me through my life they were my angels. The counseling is what really made my experience there unforgettable. Today I am sitting at 99 days sobriety and I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for the help of VH and Ofcourse God. They showed me the love I had searched for all my life. I will forever be grateful to them.

After serving as an infantryman in the military, including being wounded during one of my deployments in Afghanistan, I sought therapy at Pawnee Mental Health Services. They provided me with the support and care I needed to transition back to civilian life and helped me become a better man. The therapists at Pawnee truly understand the unique challenges faced by veterans, and their expertise and compassion made a profound difference in my life. I’ve NEVER had an issue with Pawnee. I don’t know what people expect, a red carpet to be rolled out everywhere they go? I dealt with debilitating depression and anxiety and since I’ve started visiting for therapy and medication management three years ago, I’ve been doing amazingly. We’ve had to adjust me meds a few times until we doing what worked best for me. And my therapist has never been too busy when I’ve needed a call or last minute session. They always have appts available and will call you if there’s a cancellation if you can’t get it as soon as you had hoped. They’ve never changed my appointments and I’ve never had to wait an obscene amount of time to be seen. The receptionists are kind and helpful and the mental health staff are AMAZING. But you’re always going to get the angry people reviewing rather than the satisfied patients, because they have to cause a stink about everything I guess!

Great place to get mental health services from young to old! The secretary is super nice and very accommodating, they can get you in quickly and they have super nice therapists. My child goes to Emily the therapist there and she absolutely loves her!! I would definitely suggest or recommend Emily for a young child who is having difficulties with anxiety or depression . She does a great job working with them and can get my little one to open up where she doesn't open up for hardly anyone!! They offer several different ways of therapy including but not limited to play therapy !!

I am angry that tiffany huxman works here. She ruined my life when I saw her at newton prairie view. She told me to cut my hours at work. All that did was make the family angry at me and caused my house to go into foreclosure. She didn't listen to me when I told her it doesn't work cutting my hours at work. When I cut my hours at work due to tiffany huxman badgering me and peer pressuring me then I was disrespected by my family which only raised my blood pressure. Besides that tiffany huxman is a jerk and when I would give her my honest answer she yelled at me for being direct. Tiffany huxman also prescribed welbutrin on top of caplyta which raised my blood pressure. Tiffany huxman is dangerous and shouldn't be a nurse.

It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

I love the dccca family! From the inpatient staff, the outpatient staff, the child care people to the dccca family Preservation people they are all amazing! AND A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE KITCHEN STAFF! the food is to die for! At dccca you become one big happy family I enjoyed every minute my kids and I where there I would do it ALLL OVER AGAIN! Dr.Warren is the most caring MAT provider I've ever had the privilege of meeting. Out of hundreds of clients he remembers my name and goes out of his way to greet me whenever around and make sure he is accessible to each and every one of his patients to answer questions, encourage and build the best individual recovery plan for everyone possible. But let's not forget about his wonderful staff of amazing counselors, nurses and receptionists that go above and beyond to not only do the best job but build relationships with each and every patient. I've been to multiple MAT treatment centers but Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center is by far the in the business! As someone who was terribly frightened of starting on the path to mental health recovery, Comcare made it very easy. The workers were patient with my inexperience and my intake was a breeze.
My greatest fear was that I'd be treated as an attention-seeker, or foolish for having done my research. Instead, my intake practitioner was thoughtful and receptive, and agreed with my basic coverage of things; though I am not a skeptic of therapy, it was not what I needed. Referral to a medication consultation was quick and painless, as was that appointment.
Above all, everything has been immensely affordable -- and more importantly, Comcare doesn't pressure you to cough up. I've never once been made to pay in office, or even asked to. I get my bill in the mail, and pay when I am able.

Wichita Detox felt like the reset button I didn’t know I needed. The whole vibe there was calm but no-nonsense — they didn’t sugarcoat things, but they weren’t harsh either. I knew I needed help and researched several different recovery centers before calling Bel Aire Recovery Center. It was the best thing I ever did because it saved my life. I was admitted within a couple of days and once I entered the doors the trajectory of my life changed. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable about addiction and recovery. The counselors helped me with past trauma and gave me the tools to succeed in my journey to a life of sobriety. It was my first time in treatment and I had no idea how much I would grow and heal.

Was here multiple times for psych and once for alcoholism. I am above middle class, have a degree, and just have bipolar disorder from genetics. The people complaining don’t know how good it is compared to other facilities. The place is clean, the food is great, and the staff is amazing. Please remember the people reviewing this place have issues and can be handful. Most people who have problems at places like this, unless it is filthy, create their own problems.
