I absolutely loved the experience here! (Moundridge, Ks) they have wonderful rooms, an amazing nursing team (they know you by name within a couple of days & never made me feel like I was less than them!) the case managers and chaplains taught me so many things that have kept me well after discharge! Counselors are without parallel! (Especially Amber, duh). And the food is amazing as well as they ladies who cook it… you will not regret going to this facility

My husband went through the independence center over 30 years ago. He did relapse after the first 3 months but he did not attend any aftercare or AA. Within a year he started going to AA and has been sober for almost 35 years. My son has also been through the independence center twice with varied success. He has had relapses but maintained sobriety for the majority of the time. He has used the tools he learned there to get sober again after relapsing without having to reenter treatment. The program will work for you if your honest with yourself and do the work. Good luck and god bless!

When you are ready, you are ready. I did three rehabs in the span of three summers and I’ve been sober a year and a half since going to the Independence Center. The ENTIRE staff wass genuinely interested in my recovery. Of course it’s up to me how honest I want to be with my counselor, Chaplin and myself (and God), but their unwavering encouragement doesn’t hurt and it didn’t. The facility is much better than others I’ve been to in Nebraska and they keep the distracting extracurricular horseplay to minimum. They have a great culture and alumni in the A.A. and Lincoln communities.

What makes this place stand out: The Team: A massive shout-out to J (aka JJ). He is the heart of the operation and really keeps things running smoothly. He’s incredibly caring, and he’s always down for genuine conversation. It makes a world of difference when you’re treated like a person, not a number. Pet-Friendly Resources: This is huge. If you have a pet with you, they have an area where you can kennel your animal, and they even offer a pet food pantry. It takes a massive weight off your shoulders knowing your companion is taken care of. Comprehensive Help: They are a major hub for resources. Whether it’s clothing, food, or navigation help, they are doing the work. Important Clarification: Just to be clear for anyone reading this—The Bridge Connect is separate from The Bridge Treatment Center. This is the place for people who aren't currently in treatment or are just passing through and need support. A Final Note: This place runs on donations and the generosity of the community. They are giving so much to those of us who need it, so it is vital that we keep giving back—whether that is through donations or your time. They can always use extra volunteers. If you’re in a position to help, this is a place worth supporting.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Bridge. I came there 4/23 and graduated 7/9/2026. I came in lost and broken after having had 2.5 years clean. The counselors Tiffany, Daniel,Sira, Katlend. All taught me how to love myself and taught me the tools that I needed to get back on my road to recovery. Plus all of the RA's did a tremendous job at helping me and guiding me in the right direction. Also Colin and Brody were absolutely amazing and helpful. I am forever grateful for the Bridge to get me where I'm at now. This time is going to be better for ME!

I had the best experience at Blue Valley. The staff is amazing and has always stuck by me...even when I was going through horrible times. This place saved my life. It taught me how to live, showed me my strengths and showed me what it was like to have true friendships with women. I know this place isn't for every women, but it definitely was for me. I would recommend it for those who need this kind of long term gender specific treatment. I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. I am a retired critical care nurse. I am extremely pleased with the knowledgeable intheir Behavioral Health departments. They have helped all the members of our family. If there are any issues with the care givers, management addresses the issues. Their personel are compassionate and put their clients first, going out of their way to meet their needs, to see their clients get the care that they need. They have personel who work with the police. In times of extreme distress, the police can call them into the home night or day to assess a person in crises to get them the assistance they need immediately, with immediate follow-up the next day if at night. Help is right then, often preventing unnecessary ER trips or hospitalization preventing additional unnecessary stress and cost to the person and their loved ones in distress. I cannot recommend them enough.

We were seen in the emergency room on March 24th for our 9 month old son. They ran all necessary test to help us figure out what was wrong with our son. They listened to us. We were admitted and our dr is dr Leonard and he is beyond amazing. The nursing staff on the 4th floor first and second shift are great. They answer the call light within a good reasonable time. I would recommend this hospital. Thank you so much fourth floor nursing team, ER staff and dietary.

Had a medical emergency yesterday and had to be rushed to the ER. Usually, this ER is somewhere i dread having to go because of past experiences but yesterday was different. The nurses I had helped me physically but also emotionally. They took my disorders into consideration when talking to me and showed me every bottle they had to give me via IV to help calm my mind. (Cptsd). Most hospitals dont do that. At least not in my experience. Thank you Abilene ER nurses. You made the scariest day of my life a little bit less traumatic.
