I absolutely loved the experience here! (Moundridge, Ks) they have wonderful rooms, an amazing nursing team (they know you by name within a couple of days & never made me feel like I was less than them!) the case managers and chaplains taught me so many things that have kept me well after discharge! Counselors are without parallel! (Especially Amber, duh). And the food is amazing as well as they ladies who cook it… you will not regret going to this facility

I'm from Texas. Walked in cause I was sick. Checked in at front and was told to sit in a separate waiting room. Couple minutes later nurse (Kris) came into get work up. They had to access my records from Texas which only took a few minutes. NP came in checked me out , did covid test and was on the road. Positive test, they called in meds next day and heading home. Awesome care. and Thanks

I am always treated well by the Hutchinson staff. They are kind and concerned professionals. My calls get returned promptly and if they don't know the answer they find out they don't guess. Wheny blood pressure spiked they took me in immediately there were 5 staff people helping out. Great human beings at a time when that is becoming a scarcity.

I know this place isn't for every women, but it definitely was for me. I would recommend it for those who need this kind of long term gender specific treatment. I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. I am a retired critical care nurse. I am extremely pleased with the knowledgeable intheir Behavioral Health departments. They have helped all the members of our family. If there are any issues with the care givers, management addresses the issues. Their personel are compassionate and put their clients first, going out of their way to meet their needs, to see their clients get the care that they need. They have personel who work with the police. In times of extreme distress, the police can call them into the home night or day to assess a person in crises to get them the assistance they need immediately, with immediate follow-up the next day if at night. Help is right then, often preventing unnecessary ER trips or hospitalization preventing additional unnecessary stress and cost to the person and their loved ones in distress. I cannot recommend them enough.

We were seen in the emergency room on March 24th for our 9 month old son. They ran all necessary test to help us figure out what was wrong with our son. They listened to us. We were admitted and our dr is dr Leonard and he is beyond amazing. The nursing staff on the 4th floor first and second shift are great. They answer the call light within a good reasonable time. I would recommend this hospital. Thank you so much fourth floor nursing team, ER staff and dietary.

This place has been such a beautiful resource for me and so many others. While it's not perfect, and does have areas of improvement just like any establishment does, I can truly say I am so grateful for the staff, programs and resources I have met and received while I have been here. They will help you get back your feet, but YOU have to be willing and able to WORK the steps to get to where you want to be. Both Tammy's are amazing, Mary is awesome, and so is Lilly! Had a medical emergency yesterday and had to be rushed to the ER. Usually, this ER is somewhere i dread having to go because of past experiences but yesterday was different. The nurses I had helped me physically but also emotionally. They took my disorders into consideration when talking to me and showed me every bottle they had to give me via IV to help calm my mind. (Cptsd). Most hospitals dont do that. At least not in my experience. Thank you Abilene ER nurses. You made the scariest day of my life a little bit less traumatic.

The center has really changed a lot in a great way. They listen to us, have hired more people to help such as with our vitals and intake process. I love having my med providers they really listen to me and my concerns, my case manager is totally awesome, love the groups and I can't wait to see where the center goes!

I love my Dr Mary she is the sweetest doctor she can relate she is awesome at her job the only problem being is they cannot prescribe me the medicine I need because of some Corporation policy which is not cool because that is the medicine I've been on for years

"I cannot say enough good things about Amy Wetzel and my med staff nurse, Susan. Amy is a wonderful, kind, and caring professional who genuinely listens. From my very first appointment, I felt acknowledged and comfortable. I tend to ramble and jump from topic to topic, but Amy’s ability to keep up with me is astonishing! She is the first person in many years who has actually listened to how I feel and taken the time to truly get to know me. I never feel rushed or like I’m just a 'time slot' on her calendar. While I wish I had started seeing her back in 2021, I am so grateful to have her now; I wouldn't want to see anyone else. Susan has been my med staff nurse for five years, and she has been amazing since day one. She knows me so well and is incredibly patient and great at her job. I never have to worry about communication because both Amy and Susan respond to me in a very timely manner. With both of these women, I feel like a person, not just a patient. They clearly care about their work beyond it just being a 'job.' They both deserve more than five stars, and I hope High Plains realizes how lucky they are to have them on staff.
