I fostered for 18 years for Saint Francis Community Services. The workers were amazing and always available to help and support when us when we needed it. Our Homes worker was always honest about the behaviors of the children they asked us to take and was very encouraging. Took my first grippy sock vacation here today. It was very nice. The crisis stabilization unit let me keep my phone, and you're allowed to come and go as you wish, which was encouraging. They were very kind to me during my stay and accommodated a few special needs I had. I am glad that I went, and I would recommend the CSU on Hayes Dr in Manhattan to anyone feeling in crisis, hopeless, or wanting to not exist.

I’ve NEVER had an issue with Pawnee. I don’t know what people expect, a red carpet to be rolled out everywhere they go? I dealt with debilitating depression and anxiety and since I’ve started visiting for therapy and medication management three years ago, I’ve been doing amazingly. We’ve had to adjust me meds a few times until we doing what worked best for me. And my therapist has never been too busy when I’ve needed a call or last minute session. They always have appts available and will call you if there’s a cancellation if you can’t get it as soon as you had hoped. They’ve never changed my appointments and I’ve never had to wait an obscene amount of time to be seen. The receptionists are kind and helpful and the mental health staff are AMAZING. But you’re always going to get the angry people reviewing rather than the satisfied patients, because they have to cause a stink about everything I guess!

In June of this year I had never been more broken and hopeless. I had no desire to live anymore. God gave me the power and willingness to give Valley Hope in Moundridge a chance. It was the greatest decision ive made. They were there for me and walked through all of my trauma with me. The staff was top notch. Through being there for me through my detox and then being there to walk me through my life they were my angels. The counseling is what really made my experience there unforgettable. Nah I don't have a drinking problem I can work until 5 to start drinking. Some days were good only to have 3 tallboys and days I need to have more. I was in denial because I didn't have to have a cold one in the 1st thing in the morning. But I realize that I was having trouble getting through the days without it. I had a wonderful experience with Valley Hope Moundridge! I came in a broken person greeted with hugs and promises that life gets better, and it does! I came in from Leavenworth having never been to treatment before & unsure of what to expect. In the first 5 minutes of arrival I was met by Nick & Gordon who (along with the other amazing staff) helped guide me through my recovery journey. I felt like I was in the right place immediately. All of the staff were ex-addicts who knew exactly what I was going through & showed me the tools I could use to stay sober. 11+ months sober & I love my life! Not a day goes by that I don't think about my time there & how they helped me and so many others. I love EVERYTHING about my time there. Was here multiple times for psych and once for alcoholism. I am above middle class, have a degree, and just have bipolar disorder from genetics. The people complaining don’t know how good it is compared to other facilities. The place is clean, the food is great, and the staff is amazing. Please remember the people reviewing this place have issues and can be handful. Most people who have problems at places like this, unless it is filthy, create their own problems.

I'm from Texas. Walked in cause I was sick. Checked in at front and was told to sit in a separate waiting room. Couple minutes later nurse (Kris) came into get work up. They had to access my records from Texas which only took a few minutes. NP came in checked me out , did covid test and was on the road. Positive test, they called in meds next day and heading home. Awesome care. and Thanks

I am always treated well by the Hutchinson staff. They are kind and concerned professionals. My calls get returned promptly and if they don't know the answer they find out they don't guess. Wheny blood pressure spiked they took me in immediately there were 5 staff people helping out. Great human beings at a time when that is becoming a scarcity.
