Took my first grippy sock vacation here today. It was very nice. The crisis stabilization unit let me keep my phone, and you're allowed to come and go as you wish, which was encouraging. They were very kind to me during my stay and accommodated a few special needs I had. I am glad that I went, and I would recommend the CSU on Hayes Dr in Manhattan to anyone feeling in crisis, hopeless, or wanting to not exist.

Pine Lake Behavioral Health is the best clinic I have ever been to. I've been to other clinics in the past and consulted with various psychiatrists, but none compare to the experience here. Jessica is the most outstanding psychiatrist I've ever had; she truly listens to your concerns and cares deeply about your wellbeing, offering the best care and treatment options available. I entirely recommend her!! The nurses at this facility are incredible as well! They create a comfortable atmosphere and treat you like family! Carla and Anne have been nothing short of amazing, and I truly appreciate the effort they put in to ensure their patients feel at ease every single time they come in for treatments. Thank you!

This is a good option if you need help with addiction recovery. My feedback about the 28 day program is that this is a serious, vigorous road to get better. Mirror also guides clients on to the next step, which is often an Oxford House or other sober living plan. They'll help with vocational rehab and making contacts in the community-like churches and alumni willing to help. My counselor Jamie is the best but all the staff are devoted to clients. The other clients in recovery will be all sorts with different backgrounds. You will make friends with as many or as few sober people as you like! Family and friends visitation is once a week. An optional 2 mile jog and weights are available for exercise. The food is plentiful and you will have a chore. Chores are.loke helping in the kitchen or mopping floors, etc. Call ahead for a bed as there is sometimes a wait-list. Don't expect easy and fun, and expect lots of AA/NA meetings. But there's plenty of downtime for TV, reading and an occasional nap. This and Velejo are probably your best 2 options for addiction recovery in Topeka.

I came in from Leavenworth having never been to treatment before & unsure of what to expect. In the first 5 minutes of arrival I was met by Nick & Gordon who (along with the other amazing staff) helped guide me through my recovery journey. I felt like I was in the right place immediately. All of the staff were ex-addicts who knew exactly what I was going through & showed me the tools I could use to stay sober. 11+ months sober & I love my life! Not a day goes by that I don't think about my time there & how they helped me and so many others. I love EVERYTHING about my time there. In fact I recall a conversation with Nick asking if I could stay for another 30 days. Thank you Mirror Topeka for saving my life.

Was here multiple times for psych and once for alcoholism. I am above middle class, have a degree, and just have bipolar disorder from genetics. The people complaining don’t know how good it is compared to other facilities. The place is clean, the food is great, and the staff is amazing. Please remember the people reviewing this place have issues and can be handful. Most people who have problems at places like this, unless it is filthy, create their own problems.

One of the best facilities I have ever stayed at. Staff is awesome. The best doctors. If I ever have to make a choice to go into a inpatient facility this is the number one choice I would recommend and I've been to 17 different facilities in my life

I was a Resident at Valley Hope moundridge On June 13, 2016. I recently had my three year birthday. Valley Hope “saved my life. After two previous attempts to stay clean, from other treatment centers, My treatment at Valley Hope Gave me the tools I needed to get clean and stay clean.Everyone from the counselors to the nurses to the chaplain and the kitchen staff and the cleaning staff,Had a big part in my experience of recovery!!! I was treated with great respect even the times when I wasn’t at my best due to being detoxed. I have to say this is the first time in all my recovery attempts at other facilities that my desire to stay clean and sober is strong three years later and I have no desire to return to the life of drugs and alcohol. I'm from Texas. Walked in cause I was sick. Checked in at front and was told to sit in a separate waiting room. Couple minutes later nurse (Kris) came into get work up. They had to access my records from Texas which only took a few minutes. NP came in checked me out , did covid test and was on the road. Positive test, they called in meds next day and heading home. Awesome care. and Thanks

I am always treated well by the Hutchinson staff. They are kind and concerned professionals. My calls get returned promptly and if they don't know the answer they find out they don't guess. Wheny blood pressure spiked they took me in immediately there were 5 staff people helping out. Great human beings at a time when that is becoming a scarcity.
