Took my first grippy sock vacation here today. It was very nice. The crisis stabilization unit let me keep my phone, and you're allowed to come and go as you wish, which was encouraging. They were very kind to me during my stay and accommodated a few special needs I had. I am glad that I went, and I would recommend the CSU on Hayes Dr in Manhattan to anyone feeling in crisis, hopeless, or wanting to not exist.

I’ve NEVER had an issue with Pawnee. I don’t know what people expect, a red carpet to be rolled out everywhere they go? I dealt with debilitating depression and anxiety and since I’ve started visiting for therapy and medication management three years ago, I’ve been doing amazingly. We’ve had to adjust me meds a few times until we doing what worked best for me. And my therapist has never been too busy when I’ve needed a call or last minute session. They always have appts available and will call you if there’s a cancellation if you can’t get it as soon as you had hoped. They’ve never changed my appointments and I’ve never had to wait an obscene amount of time to be seen. The receptionists are kind and helpful and the mental health staff are AMAZING. But you’re always going to get the angry people reviewing rather than the satisfied patients, because they have to cause a stink about everything I guess!

I'm giving South Central Mental Health in El Dorado a 4 star rating because there's always room for improvement. I appreciate my old therapist (for privacy reasons I will not State who that person is) He was very polite. A gentleman. Had a very caring nature. I appreciate his willingness to help me. I also appreciate him being skeptical when I wasn't being honest with him. I appreciate him allowing me to rethink the whole moving in with my dad discussion because it would have been bad. Towards the end I needed a change because I went through personality changes. I felt that my therapist then did not recognize me anymore because I changed after being in state custody. I appreciate the receptionists for always making me laugh and giving me candy at the time and a rubber stress ball. Very kind. Thank you!

Great place to get mental health services from young to old! The secretary is super nice and very accommodating, they can get you in quickly and they have super nice therapists. My child goes to Emily the therapist there and she absolutely loves her!! I would definitely suggest or recommend Emily for a young child who is having difficulties with anxiety or depression . She does a great job working with them and can get my little one to open up where she doesn't open up for hardly anyone!! They offer several different ways of therapy including but not limited to play therapy !!

good experice just wish they let me stay longer and didnt depend on the parent more so me the patient because they let me go just because my parents lied and said they would do family therapy which they had no interest in at all. next time I hope you guys focus on what the patient needs not what their parents say because i know for a fact they lied to my doctors just to release me. now I'm still struggling and my parents are not helping at all i am 17 years old now I was 15 when I went and I wish you kept me longer. It sucks that every night i went i had to call my parents an every time i did it made me have a mental breakdown because how toxic they were when i went. Who says to their child that everything gonna change when I get home? That's a fucked up thing to say to someone who struggles because of her home life. I'm glad the third night I stopped calling my parents and it helped me feel less stressed I wish i was their longer i was not ready to leave

I'm a chronic relapser and have been to Valley Hope several times. My relapses had nothing to do with Valley Hope and the care they provided. It just wasn't my time yet. I love Atchison Valley Hope. The staff are A+. They genuinely care about the patients while there and after their discharge. I get calls from my counselors and case workers periodically just to see how I'm doing. It's more than collecting an insurance check with them. I finally took their advice and went to php and iop, in addition to an addiction counselor. I'm 65 years old and sober for the first time in a very long time. There's no treatment center that's going to keep you sober or drug free. It takes work, but at AVH they will provide a serious reboot for your future.

If you've come across this, It's probably fair to say, Life hasn't been a walk in the park lately, And you're looking at possible options to get help. You might be asking yourself, Is MAT right for me? I always tell people, If you have tried other programs, And treatments that have not worked for you, Then MAT is probably for you. The great thing is, BHG has an amazing staff, From Doctors, Nurses, And counselors, That can talk with you, Answer all of your questions, So you can make an informed decision. If you feel this is a good fit for you, The staff are there to help you navigate through the process, And get you on the road to recovery. I love that they make you a part of the game plan, While creating a treatment plan designed to fit each person's specific needs. I haven't personally been a patient here, but I have had several friends complete the inpatient program for substance abuse, and they all seemed to like it. I know you can still smoke cigarettes, but no cell phones the first few weeks and limited if any contact at all with the outside world. It's coed, so that probably helps people when making a decision for an inpatient facility. Especially when we're talking 30+ days or more, detoxing off any and all things good, lol! The entrance to check in is tricky to find too, it's actually on the back side, or really, it might even be the side of the building under an awning. Hit the buzzer, and someone comes to help you get checked in.

The service is always great here. Never have to wait more than 10 minutes to get seen for scheduled appointments. The doctors and physicians are very knowledgeable. The front desk is also great at answering questions. I also like how they mail your prescriptions to you. They have a great staff.
