A Nurse Who Made a Difference I want to take a moment to recognize Michael Figueroa, who cared for my father during his time in critical care/ICU. Michael went above and beyond in caring for my father. His knowledge, compassion, patience, and especially his human touch meant more to our family than words can express. He treated my father with dignity, kindness, and genuine care, and he made our family feel that my father was not just another patient, but a person who mattered. My father unfortunately passed away on August 12, 2026. Although the outcome was heartbreaking, our family is incredibly grateful knowing that every effort was made to care for him and give him the best possible treatment. We are grateful to every nurse, respiratory therapist, doctor, and healthcare professional who cared for my father. But Michael holds a very special place in our hearts. His compassion and the way he cared for my father during such a difficult time will never be forgotten. Thank you, Michael, for everything you did for my father and for our family. "I cannot say enough good things about Amy Wetzel and my med staff nurse, Susan. Amy is a wonderful, kind, and caring professional who genuinely listens. From my very first appointment, I felt acknowledged and comfortable. I tend to ramble and jump from topic to topic, but Amy’s ability to keep up with me is astonishing! She is the first person in many years who has actually listened to how I feel and taken the time to truly get to know me. I never feel rushed or like I’m just a 'time slot' on her calendar. While I wish I had started seeing her back in 2021, I am so grateful to have her now; I wouldn't want to see anyone else. Susan has been my med staff nurse for five years, and she has been amazing since day one. She knows me so well and is incredibly patient and great at her job. I never have to worry about communication because both Amy and Susan respond to me in a very timely manner. With both of these women, I feel like a person, not just a patient. They clearly care about their work beyond it just being a 'job.' They both deserve more than five stars, and I hope High Plains realizes how lucky they are to have them on staff. Healing Pines is an amazing place. Not only are the staff courteous and professional, but the serenity and atmosphere of healing in the foothills of the Rockies is unmatched. The culture of recovery, stability and coaching is phenomenal and the alumni events for past clients lends this place a enormous sense of family and belonging. I would not be this well-equipped for life and have developed life-long relationships if it wasn't for HPR. From staff check ins, follow-on programs and on-site resources this is a top notch center that has an inclusive curriculum, as well as great on-site amenities for recreation, physical and mental well-being. Staff are caring, thoughtful and invested in the recovery process with every client that comes through. I am truly grateful to both the staff, coaches and clients that I befriended through HPR. I cannot recommend this place enough for people struggling with substance, mental or other struggles as a place of calm and recovery oriented services.

A completely transformative experience. I arrived not knowing what to expect. Within the first hour at the ranch I was on the path to becoming my authentic self. The staff is amazing. When I came to Healing Pines, I knew I was ready to start a road to recovery from my 25 year long battle with alcohol addiction. From the moment I arrived at intake, I was taken care of and made to feel welcomed and loved. My 30 days at this beautiful ranch was marked by huge breakthroughs, great camaraderie, and a fantastic curriculum focused on the body, mind, and spirit. HPR is a place where you’re not a number, you’re a human being who is cared for in all facets of recovery. The house is in a beautiful setting with tons of recreational activities (if you don’t play pickleball already, you’re gonna learn here!). You’ll learn about everything from why you drink/use, to dealing with emotions, communication, and relapse prevention. The classroom sessions are immensely valuable, but so is the time you’ll spend getting to know your counselors and fellow brothers in the house. The friendships I made here, along with the progress I made in my early recovery, are things I’ll never forget or take for granted. If you or a loved one is looking to finally get clean and sober, Healing Pines should be number one on your list. You’ll appreciate the high level of care both during AND after your time here. Thank you so much to Paul and the entire staff for giving me the opportunity to take a hard reset and get myself headed in the right direction. I will forever be grateful!

This place helped save my life about 8 years ago and I’m forever thankful for everything they did for me. They went above and beyond with the care they provided and had extra things for us to do to help us through our hardest times. I’ll never forget the volunteer that came in with his golden retriever and play guitar and sang to us. Feeling normal in a time that doesn’t seem normal was a big thing they believe in. We were made seen and cared for and that really stood out to me. Thank you again!! 10/10

I'm from Texas. Walked in cause I was sick. Checked in at front and was told to sit in a separate waiting room. Couple minutes later nurse (Kris) came into get work up. They had to access my records from Texas which only took a few minutes. NP came in checked me out , did covid test and was on the road. Positive test, they called in meds next day and heading home. Awesome care. and Thanks

I am always treated well by the Hutchinson staff. They are kind and concerned professionals. My calls get returned promptly and if they don't know the answer they find out they don't guess. Wheny blood pressure spiked they took me in immediately there were 5 staff people helping out. Great human beings at a time when that is becoming a scarcity.

Resada is a great way to start your path to recovery I personally love it here, remember know matter where you go what you put in is what you get out. This rehab has an amazing way to make you feel better about finding yourself again. If you're going to complain about the things that you can't do there then you're there for all the wrong reasons. Remember you're there to work on you and learn ways to overcome what our addiction throws at us. Be 💯 and you'll get 💯. Thank you to everyone at Resada who has impacted my life. 30 days isn't long enough but it's a start to get me on the journey of my sobriety!!! And do you see everyone who has something negative to say was court ordered! Your having structure issues try to self admit then you'll see better results.

I just don't understand all of the negativity spewed at this clinic. Whether those apposed were drug seeking or doctor shopping. Let me tell you. Dr Sung spent an hour and a half with me. He said my case was complicated. Which it is. I was treated with complete professionalism and respect. I was heard and treated kindly by all of the staff team. I would recommend Richard Young out patient clinic to anyone who needed help. I was not over medicated. In fact I was taken off of things I should have never been prescribed in the first place.

This is only because I didn't get a diagnosis, which was the point. Otherwise, treated me well, when to groups( even though most were meaningless) look, if you need help and time..its good. Just do followup upon exit
