I brought my teenage daughter back in 1997. I was so worried that I was an emotional mess myself, very resentful of addicts in general. It took only a very short time for me to begin to love and understand these people. It was so enlightening and healing. My daughter took ten more years and some hair raising experiences to escape her addiction, but I still give much of the credit to Valley Hope, because what she had learned saved her later. She is doing very well. She’s married with two kids and is successful and respected in her work as a hair stylist. She’s been clean and sober nearly 20 years now.

What a great place and Chris was the best counselor I have ever seen for my son. The Chaplin Jamie needs to quit judging people by their looks or how they dress. Give some grace to these hurting people and quit judging . Be there to encourage and build someone up with Gods love . You are a poor example of a Chaplin. Please read the Bible and apply it from your heart . Other than him a wonderful place for recovery. May God bless all of you who helped my son Payton.

I became an established patient with HPMHC in 2019 after going through a mental health crisis. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The front desk employees and billing department were always so kind and helpful. Most importantly, I had an incredible therapist and Doctor. Tara, my therapist was always so empathetic and is such a wonderful listener. She always gave the best advice and always validated my concerns and feelings. Dr. Karen was an incredible Doctor. She listened to my concerns and was able to find the perfect plan for me and my mental health. She always made me feel safe to express any concerns and questions I had regarding my plan/treatment. She is incredibly kind. I will forever feel blessed to have had such a wonderful team that has helped me grow tremendously in so many ways, they are a big part of where I am at today. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

One of a Kind! Healing Pines is the only place you’ll EVER need! This was my first time in treatment and after a long hard look and lots of conversations with Paul, something just felt right about this place. I’m so glad i chose healing pines cause i couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. From the first day, all the way till my cone out, my experience was nothing short of amazing. The amount of activities, classes, fun, food, brotherhood and being around the most supportive staff ( on a personal level) was exactly what i was looking for. I now have tools, confidence and a whole new outlook on life that I’ll never forget. Paul and his staff have become family to me. I want to thank the entire team at HPR for changing my life in ways i could never do alone. Thank You!

This place literally saved my life. Paul and the rest of the staff are amazing people! HPR is exactly what I was looking for in a treatment center. It’s small and intimate and therefore you will get really close with the guys here. You don’t feel like you’re in a clinical setting but it’s not like you’re getting well at a resort. After learning about the lengths that Paul went to in creating this place, it speaks VOLUMES about how much he cares. The community was hesitant but he knew that this is where he was going to help people and made it happen. You will do some deep introspection and healing with your brothers. I would go and play disc golf with my therapist and he always listened intentionally to what I had to say. I miss this place!! The culture here is very special. HPR is where men go to heal and I know I have friends for life after my time in this program. Come with an open mind and I promise you will get out of it 10x what you put into it. Much love to Paul, Zen, Disc, Coach, Zach, Kathy and last but not least Becca! I miss you all so much! -Jimmy
