I'm originally from Phoenix and after taking my Grandfather to the VA and enduring the wait and poor service, I decided to just use my insurance. I was in my 60s and living in Winfield, Kansas before friends here urged me to use the VA. I have COPD so I decided to try Robert Dole. I did, and have been so impressed by the care and treatment that I have received from them that I regret not using the VA earlier. The Doctors, my Care Team, along with the other service providers at the VA are great.

I was recently seen in the ER at the VA. I had bad edema in my legs with fluid buildup in my abdomen. I was seen immediately and the ER team ran possibly every test and procedure they could to get to the root cause. They treated me so well there. I was treated poorly about 10 years ago there, but they have definitely changed my views of them. After my visit they had already set up two Dr appointments for me and sent me home with medication. No place is perfect. I have been going here for 12 months now and I have been clean for 11months. It tooke a month to get off everything, but I have. It's been wonderful, my family is shocked and so happy how well I am doing. My kids are starting to trust me again. Everyone says I am starting to at like the old me that they haven't seen in a long time. I wish someone would have told me about this sooner. I have had some issues with the drug screens coming back positive 3 times when I have been clean and was not using. One of them got dropped because the confirmation came back negative, so that was great but the other 2 was contaminated because I haven't used one thing since 6/19/23.This was hard to deal with because How can u fix a drug screen that comes back dirty when u are clean..so I did lose my take homes for a month which sucked. But you know what It's a hell of a lot better then where I was before. I love who I am now I am working really hard on my recovery and just gotta keep doing the right thing even when things don't go ur way. If you want a change it is so able and this place has really saved my life and my relationship with my kids, and family.

As someone who was terribly frightened of starting on the path to mental health recovery, Comcare made it very easy. The workers were patient with my inexperience and my intake was a breeze.My greatest fear was that I'd be treated as an attention-seeker, or foolish for having done my research. Instead, my intake practitioner was thoughtful and receptive, and agreed with my basic coverage of things; though I am not a skeptic of therapy, it was not what I needed. Referral to a medication consultation was quick and painless, as was that appointment.Above all, everything has been immensely affordable -- and more importantly, Comcare doesn't pressure you to cough up. I have been going to Healthcore Clinic for about 6-7 years now. I lost my job of almost 7 yrs due to my epilepsy getting worse and I was having seizures at work and at home and never felt them coming on, so I would be at work with black eyes, broken nose, I had a tooth go through my top lip and I had went on fmla 5 times but finally my boss said that corporate wasnt comfortable w me working there anymore. When I lost my job, I also lost my insurance and my meds were so expensive and a friend told me about Healthcore and their sliding fee program and so I went there and my first doctor was great, but she left about a yr after I started seeing her, but she said dont worry, I'm gonna put you with a wonderful provider and that's when i started seeing Danielle Kauffman & she is like a breath of fresh air. Her bedside manner is amazing and shes so easy to talk to and i just love her to pieces. She listens to you and she is so smart, she really knows what shes doing. I feel so comfortable w her, i feel like i could tell her anything and she is someone that doesnt judge you. She really is amazing and i cant imagine having to see another doctor. It would break my heart. Thankyou for being so kind and warm and understandingDanielle Kauffman was definitely one of the few that are still like that, bit she ended up leaving and today i went in to see my new Dr. and Dr. Jeffrey was so nice and was very easy to talk to, i was a little bit worried about starting over, but she really is such a sweetheart and was easy to talk to and not judgemental, plus shes the top doctor there from what i understand and i have faith shes going to help me, plus i found out i list 14 Lbs, thats always great. I think shes gonna be great and she knows her stuff, and the rest of the staff is great too, Thankyou Lori for getting me in as a wak-in, you're a gem. I would hate to have to go anywhere else!

It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

I love the dccca family! From the inpatient staff, the outpatient staff, the child care people to the dccca family Preservation people they are all amazing! From the moment we arrived it was an incredible experience. They came in with snacks and activities for our toddler. Constantly checked to see if we needed anything, they listened and truly seemed to care. In the end they assisted us in getting him into inpatient, and even cheered with us when he got accepted. The entire staff turned the horrible situation into a calm experience to learn and grow from. I am so thankful for every one of them!

I was blessed with the opportunity to go to wrc at the beginning of 2016. The Kimtechs where very personable, I used to always ride w ms.dourthy to go pick up the food from Options, we was allowed to smoke cigarettes in the courtyard, which I enjoyed. The only issue for me is who I got as a Counselor, Mrs Brown I believe her name was. She just wasn't as involved as other counselors. Maybe they paired me w her bcus they knew I didn't need a lot of supervision. which I didn't but it might've been nice to have some -one on one- w a professional, learning healthy coping mechanisms. Since that was my first attempt to get clean since I started at 12, I ended up having 4 yrs clean that time ... Thinking about checking out their new location

It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

I love the dccca family! From the inpatient staff, the outpatient staff, the child care people to the dccca family Preservation people they are all amazing! AND A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE KITCHEN STAFF! the food is to die for! At dccca you become one big happy family I enjoyed every minute my kids and I where there I would do it ALLL OVER AGAIN! I feel so at home at dccca. I'm blessed to have had the experience! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DCCCA!!

This rehab center is a good place to go. They do not criticize you if you relaps on your drug of choice. They also make a grate counsler if you ever need someone to talk to when your feeling down or what ever you need to talk about. They are good listeners. If your required to go 3 times a week and you want to go 4 times a week they will let you. They also have morning groups and Night groups. If you dont have transportation you and do the morring group and as long as you call before a suertent time then you will have a ride. There and back to your location. Or if you have a doc appoment or a vist with your kids or work after words they will take you there. But in order to get a ride you must be within their circled map to get a ride.. Witch is pritty big. If you miss a group you can go to the night one to make it up.The staff is very friendly, kind, and also sometimes has a sences of humor.

Treatment centers can be very difficult to choose from. I made the best choice in life when i decided to join this community. I learned that nothing is easy in life when your trying to change but the counselors helped me turn an important page in my book of life. I recommend this place for anyone who is struggling with any type of addictions, problems or if you just need a new environment with real people who are dedicated to helping you get over that difficult hump called Life.

I went to see a dentist there and the receptionist was very nice, polite, helpful. I went back and right away they did a full mouth x-ray. Dr came in and looked at the X-ray of the tooth that was giving me problems she said that it needed to be taken out. I agreed. She gave me 4 rounds of numbing medicine before they were able to pull it out. She had told me that it was infected and that's why it took so much numbing medicine. Overall I had a good experience with them. No complaints from me.

The only pediatrician they have seems to not like his job, my experience with the pediatrician was not pleasant, it's like he doesn't want to take care of you, if I could not give him a single star for the pediatrician I wouldn't do it. The girls at the reception who speak Spanish are really very friendly, my stars are only for the girls at the reception, a girl who is pregnant and another who speaks Spanish is very attentive, in general the reception is good.
