It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

As someone who was terribly frightened of starting on the path to mental health recovery, Comcare made it very easy. The workers were patient with my inexperience and my intake was a breeze. My greatest fear was that I'd be treated as an attention-seeker, or foolish for having done my research. Instead, my intake practitioner was thoughtful and receptive, and agreed with my basic coverage of things; though I am not a skeptic of therapy, it was not what I needed. Referral to a medication consultation was quick and painless, as was that appointment. Above all, everything has been immensely affordable -- and more importantly, Comcare doesn't pressure you to cough up. I've never once been made to pay in office, or even asked to. I get my bill in the mail, and pay when I am able.

Commenting as a family member to a patient of PFH, currently! *I had a friend who also went to pfh to get clean about 7 years ago and the change in this place (from 7 years ago to now) is nothing but amazing! The staff are ALL caring, loving, people who want nothing but the best for everyone who steps foot inside this building!* I would suggest before arriving for your stay that you call and verify what items you are able to bring and what items aren't accepted. Ask about possible medications and scripts your doctor may have you on - they do give some medications and you are even allowed to have some items such as hygiene and OTC meds such as Tylenol. I'd recommend having some cash or change as well, they have a vending machine you'll get access to. You might also get to go on a day trip to Walmart, so if you'd like to spend some money at Walmart - you'll need to bring some! 🤍The last thing I can truly suggest is.... arrive with an open mind and an open heart to allow these loving people to help you become a better/healthier version of yourself. Your loved one deserves their love/help to get clean and live a life they are proud of! Get your loved ones back - get with PFH to secure their bed! It'll be worth it 🫶🏼

Wichita Detox felt like the reset button I didn’t know I needed. The whole vibe there was calm but no-nonsense — they didn’t sugarcoat things, but they weren’t harsh either. The detox part was rough (obviously), but the staff kept it manageable and kept checking on me like clockwork.What hit different was how real they were. No judgment, just help. Hello, my name is Jay/James Parks, I was a patient at this mental health facility 2 times, one for 4 months, and one for 3 weeks. The entire time I was there I was treated greatly, and was allowed to do most things the other reviews are saying they couldn’t. The staff were especially nice, and would only want the best for you. The food was also great, having what tasted like a 5- star meal served every day, and me having a family who has experience with most mental facility’s in Oklahoma, this one surpasses the rest. And people forget that if they/their kid does not find something fair, the grievance forms ARE something they look at. Overall, deserves a 5 star review.

I went here in January-Febuary, they really helped me talk through some of my toughest times, now I'm able to express my feelings and talk to my parents better. I have truly improved and I miss the staff because they were very nice, and really supportive. I miss the people I met and I hope they're doing well, I loved my therapist and she really helped me be able to express myself and feel better. I still have tough times but with the time I spent there, I've learned good skills and I'm able to work through them without falling back into the terrible places I've been before. I truly appreciate everything they did for me and I highly recommend them.

I knew I needed help and researched several different recovery centers before calling Bel Aire Recovery Center. It was the best thing I ever did because it saved my life. I was admitted within a couple of days and once I entered the doors the trajectory of my life changed. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable about addiction and recovery. I am so grateful and blessed to have come across Bel-Air Recovery Center. Bel Aire Recovery Center save my life in so many ways to save my relationship with everyone I had and save my marriage. I couldn't have done it without them I tell you if you need help call them they'll come get you they will help you in every way they can until you're better. Bel Aire’s also focus on addiction science, brain-based treatment, and holistic approaches neuro-counseling, meditation, art therapy was transformative, giving them optimism for sustained sobriety. Specific praise includes the structured environment, 24/7 support, and comprehensive aftercare planning, which helps clients transition to long-term recovery with resources like app-based alumni support. Aftercare IOP in outpatient meetings therapy one-on-one sober living facilities and getting to gain relationship and friendship with all the people you were there with also with the community and sober events they have so many things that you can learn and gain off of them it is a wonderful environment to recover in and after care is amazing as well everyone in the Bel Air facility thank you I give a shout out to Austin Ty Tina Croft Tinna Palmer both Sarah's Tammy Meredith Mickey Mike Amy Miss Bree Miss Bianca Miss terrica Miss Lauren all the other RN nurses that were on duty all the doctors therapists and psychiatrists that were also on duty Miss Deborah I love you so much I owe you so much and Brandon also special shout out to all my RSA'S Joel Alexis & Rayan i Love You Guys Mark Cory Makayla Ryian Denny Lana Lori Ryan baker ... And anyone else I forgot out let me just say these are some amazing people they once had the problem we did and now look at their lives and where they are at... I took the Batterers Intervention Program (We renamed it Believe In Peace) taking this class changed my life. Changed my outlook on life and parenting. Changed how I see myself. Dana is amazing. Being in a group of women to learn and grow was just magical, empowering, just supportive. We cried for others and lifted up those who needed lifted. We shared the most vulnerable things with each other to let go of what was and embrace a new us. I completed my class and I still go back every so often to remember who I am and what I accomplished.
