I owe it to new chance! My husband is 2 years sober off drugs and is able to share his story and sponsor others cause of his counselor, the knowledge and the tools he learned to stay sober. Because of the tough love and new chance my husband has his life back. Thank you new chance
I think the service and staff is top notch. I have built a great relationship with my counselor and the staff, who has the experience and knowledge to assist me with the issues I need assistance with. My insurance has changed, they will work with you as long as you show you are making progress on your account. I was given the opportunity to switch to another provider due to insurance, but the trust and relationship is worth the price than starting with another provider. If you are honest with your self and open to the ideas and tools being offered, I am sure you will get the help and assistance you need with Compass.

Ive a frequent flyer at this ER and I always had a great experience staff is always friendly... Lisa is by far the BEST Dr to receive treatment from, I also had Dr. Strunk she was incredibly rude, dismissive, asked me what was so important I had to come to the ER and not a Dr visit at the clinic, she talked to me like I was incoherent, she made me feel extremely stupid for going, didn't run any test only had vitals checked and ears checked, she made me feel so bad I never wanted to go to this ER AGAIN or scared I would get her again if I had to go back. But LISA IS AMAZING VERY INFORMATIVE, CARING, EXPLAINS THINGS SO YOU UNDERSTAND, HAS SO MUCH COMPASSION FOR HER PATIENTS! Don't let one crappy Dr discourage you from this ER.

This experience isn't about this hospital. Unfortunately it's about Pawnee County Hospital.
I went 3 weeks ago with shortness of breath. And the doctor told me I was dehydrated and walked out of the room and sent in the discharge nurse. I went to another hospital with a REAL DR. and they actually listened to what was wrong. They prescribed medicine that would keep my heart rate close to normal to keep me from dying. And referred me to a cardiologist who scheduled an ultrasound for the heart, stress test and monitor. But the appt days are still in the future.
Speed up to today.
I forgot to take my medicine this morning. But sitting in my office I didn't really notice it much. It got hard to breath sometimes but wasn't bad. Then I made the mistake of walking around the store. I walked maybe 30 yards and my heart rate SHOT UP. I went and got my medicine because I couldn't breathe then I came home to try and relax. But it kept getting worse. My body got tingly, my hands locked up. My whole body locked up. I couldn't move, talk, or do anything. My buddy called the ambulance and they took me to the ER. I have already had an ekg, blood test and xray. All normal. That's why I'm waiting on the other tests appts. But they did them all again anyways. Then the doctor comes in. This is IMPORTANT. he tells me that nothing is wrong. It's probably just a medicine I took. I told him I want another doctor. He chuckled, said there's not one. THEN WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM.
I was a 19D Cavalry Scout Forward Reconnaissance Dismount Team Leader. My body is trained to get through some tough stuff. I know when something is wrong with me. After being treated like that, if it happens again I would assume die on the kitchen floor before going back there.

Kind loving staff who truly care about the kids. Excellent communication with me while my kiddo was getting help. My kiddo said the staff was really nice. She liked the food and said she had fun.

Justin’s Lighthouse changed my life…. For the best!! Tina and Myles picked me up from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison March of 2019. I was addicted to heroin. No one had faith in me. Not even my family. But, they did! They educated me on the disease. But more importantly, they loved me until I loved myself.
Today, I have a job that I used to think I didn’t deserve. People trust me. I now have family that I talk to frequently.
This all became possible because I listened to what they had to say. This journey has not been easy but well worth it!

If they don't have what you need help with, many will go above and beyond to help Liberal's families and individuals. They have a wide range of information and resources meant to help anyone in need. After a tragic experience. I had no money to cover for my medicine. I had to call Kansas coalition. They not only cover for my medicine, but I met Susan which is the greatest. Thank you for the support and help. Reach out if you need help it's okay.
Some are decent providers it’s like when u get a good vibe with a person out there they end up moving to a different job and it sucks I hope I can find a good counselor out there any suggestions anybody

The center has really changed a lot in a great way. They listen to us, have hired more people to help such as with our vitals and intake process. I love having my med providers they really listen to me and my concerns, my case manager is totally awesome, love the groups and I can't wait to see where the center goes!

I love my Dr Mary she is the sweetest doctor she can relate she is awesome at her job the only problem being is they cannot prescribe me the medicine I need because of some Corporation policy which is not cool because that is the medicine I've been on for years
I just wanted to say how prompt the office ladies are. I want to give Dawn Rose a shout out. She is absolutely the nicest, most professional employee ever. She is on top of everything and I just wanted to tell her how much she is appreciated. Thank you

I became an established patient with HPMHC in 2019 after going through a mental health crisis. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The front desk employees and billing department were always so kind and helpful. Most importantly, I had an incredible therapist and Doctor. Tara, my therapist was always so empathetic and is such a wonderful listener. She always gave the best advice and always validated my concerns and feelings. Dr. Karen was an incredible Doctor. She listened to my concerns and was able to find the perfect plan for me and my mental health. She always made me feel safe to express any concerns and questions I had regarding my plan/treatment. She is incredibly kind. I will forever feel blessed to have had such a wonderful team that has helped me grow tremendously in so many ways, they are a big part of where I am at today. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

This is a very old facility, in fact the oldest mental health facility in the state. If you’re struggling, but afraid to take that first step to help yourself, you’ve nothing to fear here. Yes, it is restrictive. No phones and no smoking, etc. However, those are measures that actually help you to cope with your mind and body, maybe for the first time in a long time. The staff of nurses, therapists, doctors and techs are the most loving people I’ve ever met. They saved my life. I had not eaten or slept for months, struggling to cope with a physical illness that is killing me, and a mind fracturing under the pressure of it all. I leaned into it all, and let them save me. And they did. Food I could tolerate, fresh and plentiful was served to me by kitchen staff that care and nurture, without judgment. I was given medication that helped me to finally sleep, really rest. I was given every opportunity to share and find comfort in my pain, both with the staff and with the other clients there, themselves as scared as I was. Today I am home and so grateful for my life and the VERY last line of people willing to stand up for and with me, and advocate for my physical and emotional worth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are forever kept safely in it. Clint, Tyra, Moriam, Stephanie, Linda, Logan, Abby, Emily, Megan, Dr. Reeder and Dr. Cunningham, the intake and kitchen staff, and finally to Troy. Who watched me move and learn to be at peace with my body, in its weakened and depressed state. The sun is still on my face, the wind at my back now, thank you all.

Enrique was the first I spoke to. I'll never forget how compassionate and understanding he was. He also called me to try to get me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I see Katelynn (I'm terrible at names and probably misspelled her name, 😐)
She is Wonderful. Very empathic, compassionate and such a good listener.
I know I haven't been easy to deal with. I'm not having an easy time dealing with me and everything around me.. but Katelynn is helping me.
For everyone that I've encountered there, they have been so very nice to me. Even when I wasn't being so nice to be around.
For me, this place, Enrique, Katelynn and the rest of the people I've encountered, has been a Godsend.
