It was my first time going into treatment and I was scared to fly to California. I'm happy I made the decision to trust Enlight with my safety and wellbeing. These people really know how to change lives, speaking from experience. I was battling with alcohol, drugs and mental health issues that I was never able to address. I was scared that my job was going to penalize me but the team worked well with my employer so that I can really take my time and focus on my recovery. This was the best decision I have ever made. I feel changed, finally ready to live the life I deserve. Thank you to Enlight and the doctors here for saving my life. This was the best decision I have ever made

As I sit here, dead of winter in Upstate New York. I appreciate the time I spent at Enlight Treatment center. This is usually the time I would look for something to lift my mood. Depression gets the best of me and I spiral. I was able to really open up there. I was able to unload and place a lot of my unresolved feelings aside. They really have wonderful people there. If you're serious about getting rid of whatever it is you need to get rid of.. I would absolutely go! The food wasn't too bad either😘

I am Super Grateful I had the opportunity to attend Maple Moon! When I came to Maple Moon I was broken and completely empty emotionally and spiritually. My addiction had taken over my entire life and I had absolutely zero hope for my future. The second I stepped off of the plane I was met with a smiling face from the kindest person I had met in a long time. I was instantly taken care of and felt safe. When I arrived at the house I was overwhelmed with how comfortable it felt. I was very well cared for through detoxing; consistently checked on and heard when I had any issues or problems through it. John, the chef, actually came to me everyday and asked what I was able to stomach while going through my withdrawal, he would bring me whatever asked for to help get me through it and get back in my body as soon as possible. Jake and Andrew made me feel comfortable coming to them with any issues or questions and took care of EVERYTHING for me. My only priority thanks to them was to GET BETTER. Once I was able to attend groups I was even more comfortable. EVERY counselor/facilitator was great! Every staff member has the ability to meet you where you are in your recovery. The majority have been in each phase or spot themselves so it’s a genuine feeling of empathy and understanding that they offer. There is also a network of support that grows between the clients and it makes sharing and listening so easy. The entire program is ran in a way that makes recovery there feel less institutionalized and more like just simply self growth and realization. It’s a perfect mix of quiet, slow down personal time and active time. The outings made me realize that there is fun and happiness in sobriety. Maple Moon was my home, when I needed it most. This place changed my life, in all seriousness and honesty they truly did. I will forever be grateful and Maple Moon will forever be a part of my recovery story.

Let me see how I start this and I will have write into multiple reviews and google does not allow this much writing in on shot 😊. I checked into Summit Recovery on April 5th and honestly I had no idea what I was walking into. I don't even fully remember everything leading up to it. My wife was the one who called the facility and she told me the program director spoke with me but I have zero memory of that conversation. I believe her though! 😊 What I do remember is being at the airport, my wife dropping me off, and got texts from their program director, that when I landed at Long Beach airport a man with long blonde hair would be picking me up. In my head I was picturing some 250 pound bouncer type, big and intimidating. Well that is not what showed up. This guy was nothing like that. He was sweet, humble and just had a calm energy about him. On the drive over to Summit he kept telling me I was going to be fine. I wasn't so sure about that but something about the way he said it made me want to believe him. The staff at Summit are something else, and I truly mean that. It wasn't just the nurses and counselors, it was everybody. And I mean everybody. There was one lady on the cleaning staff, I wish I could mention her by name but I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but oh my god she made me feel like I was on vacation. Every single time I saw her she was smiling, full of energy and just made you feel good being around her. That kind of thing is contagious. Not just her, but every person I ran into treated me with respect and made me feel like I actually mattered. I could walk into pretty much anyone's office just to chat and we would end up laughing and joking around. Those moments were priceless to me, more than they probably know. When you are going through something that heavy, those little moments of just being normal and laughing with someone mean everything. Not once did I feel judged or ashamed for being there. They understood and they cared, not just about getting me sober but about me as a person. Oh my god the food!! Nobody told me about this and I was not expecting it at all. They have a actual chef there cooking fresh every day, lunch and dinner both. Real food, like real real food. Not that cafeteria stuff or something sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Fresh, cooked from scratch every single day. I don't know how he did it but every meal was good. Like really good. After a few days I was actually looking forward to meal time which I did not see coming. That chef deserves his own review honestly. You can tell he took pride in what he was making and that meant a lot when you are going through something so tough. You go chef five stars for you buddy. And the program itself, I cannot say enough good things. But what really got me was the staff. I felt like I had known these people for years, like they were old friends of mine. It never felt like someone just handing you a bunch of papers to read or standing there lecturing you about drinking. These were real people who had lived real lives and gone through real things and they used that to help change the people around them. That is a completely different thing. You cannot fake that and you can feel the difference right away. That is what makes Summit special to me. One staff member I would like to say.. “you go girl .. \” even she told not to call her girl 😊 And the nurses, oh my god where do I start. I cannot thank them enough. Every single one of them knew their stuff but never made you feel like you were just another patient. They were warm, friendly and just easy to be around. Director of nursing Ms. Carter :) Out internal joke. she not just help me with meds but also with my insurance stuff, cannot repay for all they help. I wish I can talk about every staff member, but google not allowing it I will not sugarcoat anything, it was hard, very hard, but I did it. Summit Recovery helped me every single day and never gave up on me. They are real people who will walk with you every step of the way. But you have to want it, that is it, simple as that.

I don't do the review thing. But in this case I will make an exception. When I finally came to the conclusion that perhaps I had enough of a drinking problem that I should enter a program, the biggest obstacle I thought I'd run into was finding a place, dealing with finances, and getting a spot. I gave myself a couple of months to figure it out. Summit was my second call on day one and I was admitted 3 days later. It happened so easily and quickly that I didn't have time to talk myself out of it. That alone was the biggest step on my journey to sobriety. Upon arrival I had no idea what to expect since I had never been through this process before. Everybody at intake were extremely caring, considerate and helpful. Even though I felt completely at odds with the situation I took a deep breath and kinda dove in. The staff, from the techs, to the therapists, to the chef, to the specialists...sound baths, chiropractic, yoga etc were outstanding from top to bottom. I learned so much in my 30 days, though the best piece advice came from the housekeeper on my second bewildering day there which was - enjoy your vacation. I could write a book about what I experienced and learned at Summit. For all the expertise and care I received from the institution there greatest gift came from my fellow clients who were so incredibly giving and well..human. Through them I remembered that I liked people and that going forwards even though I'm the same person I was before I think I'm more aware of what that is and that I can work at being a better version of me. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been given this opportunity, and if you are considering treatment there is nothing I can recommend higher than Summit. Good luck.

Looking back at my review from years ago I realized I only thanked Armen for saving my life. It was also too short of a review to do this place justice for how much they did for me. I would like to also add Mona, Milly, Knacio, Mike, Greg, Lalo and say thank you to all of you as well. I wish I expressed more gratitude on my journey with all of you. I did a lot of growing up there and it was all thanks to everyone not giving up on me even when I wanted to give up on myself. Going through their program and then earning my RADT and working as a Technician at 2 of their Detox locations and House Manager at one of their Sober Livings for them was probably some of my most fulfilling and happiest moments of my life. They showed me who I had the ability to become if I strived hard enough and believed in myself. I don’t know where I would be today or if I would even be alive if it wasn’t for every staff member and even the clients that were all there sharing their life stories and experiences and pushing us to all be better, not only to the people around us but also to ourselves. I feel like even saying this is underwhelming to how amazing this place and these people are. I love all of you guys. BpoBpo misses all of you as well. Thank you so much for everything. If you are struggling to stay sober and find yourself, I strongly recommend reaching out to Vanity Wellness Center. The VWC Family is the absolute best place for recovery!

I can personally say that this is an absolute amazing place. I had great experience with the staff each and everyone hand-picked to perfection. If you ask my opinion, the nurse Jade is absolutely amazing. I know that I will miss her terrible Josh is very very very, very super amazing. deja super sweet person. Georgie is a very caring understanding person. I can actually say I have a good word for each and everyone of them. It would take up a lot of space so I won’t just know that I appreciate each and everyone of you and wish the very best in life for you I would also like to say that Ariel is absolutely amazing. There were a few situations that were scary that he was very comforting very understanding and I like the shout out and say things to everybody.

After watching my son struggle with mental illness and substance abuse for many years, Launch Centers is the first program where I have seen truly meaningful progress and real hope for his future. From the very beginning, the team at Launch Centers went above and beyond for our family. Clint, Director of Admissions, worked tirelessly with our insurance company to secure the financial assistance and treatment approval my son desperately needed. A previous provider was unable to make this happen, but Clint never stopped advocating for him or helping us navigate an incredibly difficult process with compassion and persistence. Jake, his therapist, has been an absolute gift to our family. Over the past several months, he has built an incredible level of trust with my son. Jake’s patience, insight, professionalism, and genuine compassion have helped my son navigate his mental health challenges with greater confidence and stability. The trust and relationship he has built have made a profound difference in my son’s life. We are deeply grateful for the care and dedication he brings to his work every day. Jess, the Executive Director, has also been wonderful to work with. She truly cares about the clients and works hard to ensure each person receives the appropriate level of care, support, and individualized attention. For the first time in many years, I feel hopeful. Launch Centers has provided not only treatment, but also compassion, advocacy, and a level of personal investment that has made a meaningful difference for our family. I cannot thank this team enough for the work they do and the lives they are changing.

I had relapsed after getting over 900 days sober, and was not in a good place physically and emotionally. I was lost, not a lot of self worth and hating myself. This place changed that over the course of 4 weeks as an out patient. Perfect amount of care, discipline and accountability. The facilitators are great, compassionate, caring people who have been through the shit themselves. If you live in LA, need help getting clean and take your recovery seriously, this is the spot.

If you don’t want to be held accountable and become motivated to achieve a better life this is not the place. Forward is a facility that will do literally anything to make recovery comfortable, and even fun. There is a strong emphasis on forgiveness and reducing shame. The old tech, Anton was a really cool guy, immediately providing a sense of comfort and calmness and Lonnie is the owner whose kindness and care are responsible for getting my foot in the door to begin the most challenging and rewarding journey of my life. Good people and great place.

The VA hospice staff has been incredible in the care they’ve provided for my brother. They truly take the time to get to know him as a person, not just a patient. Every staff member introduces themselves to guests as soon as they walk in, and you can feel the compassion and intention behind every word they speak. It makes such a difference during a difficult time. The environment itself is just as comforting—the grounds are peaceful, and the community garden with its stunning flowers adds a sense of beauty and calm. This place doesn’t feel like a hospital; it feels like a family.

Thrive treatment changed my life. A year ago I was at my lowest and only a shell of the person I once was. I had lost hope and was terrified that the rest of my life I would be stuck in my addiction loop of trying to stop but never being able to do it on my own. Once I arrived at Thrive I knew within the first couple weeks that this place was special. The staff were kind and helpful. I didn't feel like just another number. I felt like everyone genuinely wanted me to be included and most importantly wanted me to succeed. It's scary to put your life "on hold" and your sobriety first, but all of the goals I set for myself in that first month , I have reached in the past year! And on May 24th reached my one year sober! Which is mind blowing Thrive showed me how to live life sober and enjoy it. They showed me how to be a good daughter, a sister, and a friend. They showed me how to look within and work through the shame I was carrying with me and come out on the other side I can truly say Thrive changed my life for the better and if you're on the fence about sobriety give this place a chance. After 20+ years in active addiction I thought I was a lost cause but they helped me build myself back up and gave me the template to build my life backup . I now have a life i can wake up and be excited for and most importantly I am proud of myself

THRIVE GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK! This program and the staff here gave me the structure, accountability, and support I needed not just to stay sober, but to truly change how I live. It humbled me and helped me develop patience, love, and tolerance, while teaching me to show up differently for myself and my family today. I owe them everything and appreciate them forever!

As an alumni of Thrive Treatment, I can honestly say this program changed my life. Before coming to Thrive, I had been through multiple treatment programs without finding the long-term success I was looking for. Thrive was different from day one. The level of support I received from the entire team was unlike anything I had experienced before. My therapist was incredible, and the treatment staff genuinely cared about my recovery and well-being. They took the time to get to know me as a person, not just a client, and provided the guidance, accountability, and encouragement I needed to build a strong foundation in sobriety. Today, I have lasting recovery because of the tools and support I received at Thrive. I would highly recommend this program to anyone seeking treatment or support for themselves or a loved one.

This is an almost 5 year update to my review under the Google username "Love is Real Not Fade Away" Since my last update in 2023, life has still continued to be full of trials and traumas that would have easily pushed the person I was before my treatment and time spent at DOMUS into using opiates again. In 2024, I was drugged by a stranger at a concert. Without knowing at the time what I was drugged with, it ended up being GHB in my coffee, the on-site medical team administered 5 doses of Naloxone while they waited for the ambulance to arrive. I needed to be resuscitated 2 times on the way to the hospital, where I woke up confused, with burn marks on my chest, and an awful physical feeling from the amount of Naloxone I was given. This happened during a time when life was already extremely stressful, and left me in a dark place of low self esteem. That low self esteem did trigger another short stint of Active Substance Use Disorder. The substance I used during that time is not as important as the substance I did not use at that time: Opiates. And while I wasn't proud of myself for resorting to the use of chemicals to self medicate, I did pat myself on the back everyday for not resorting to what my pre treatment self would have instantly ran to, which was IV Opiates. After continued therapy, my Substance Use Disorder has been in remission for well over a year now. And that last sentence is something that cannot be understated. Continued therapy for anyone with Substance Use Disorder is a must. That's not a conclusion I've just come to, but something that was told to me during my time at DOMUS. Where important and life altering therapy sessions with Dr. Livingston took place, and revolved around subjects like: continued therapy, the intrinsic value of myself as a human being, and the fact that I now had a second chance at a life free from opiate use. As I continue to navigate the current set of struggles and traumas my family and I are experiencing with my own therapist, I often reflect back to those sessions with Dr. Livingston. I just want to end by saying that I remain forever grateful to everyone at DOMUS, and The Waissmann Method, for helping me rewrite the narrative of my life. A narrative that doesn't involve opiate use in any way. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Just a question? Why don’t you go after the opiate settlement money floating around our towns and states and ask for the money to give scholarships for people who want this but can’t afford it. Better hurry tho because they are going to either waste it on dumb crap or use it to help their cronies personally. Just saying….
