I recently had to courtesy dose here from Arizona and I will say I will never choose a different place when going back home to visit. They were awesome, worked hard to get me settled in and were super easy to work with. Also because I have take homes within my own home clinic my counselor was able to get me take homes there to make my trip that much easier. Unfortunately at one point I was a prisoner here, as in I made a bad decision. On that note Charleston really helped they weren't treating me like a criminal they treated me like some one who just needed guidance.
They have a job to do it's our faults we are in there; weather its we actually committed the crime, or just being around the wrong people at the wrong time.
Those are the decisions we made they helped me realize that. That being said some crimes committed, (having heard the stories, and deducing a percentage of them lie to you and some actually do tell the truth.) were committed for reasons justified. justified is not always law abiding.
This facility has good people creating and working with inmates to have good programs in place and jobs to work and make money. Remember in a place like prison the experience is what you make it so if your negative your outcome is negative if you are positive your outcome is positive.

That @Crypto Report is messed up. “No victim, no crime” NO! If it’s against the law it’s a crime. Yes, what’s considered a jailable crime needs to change, I can totally agree on that. But to say that a crime wasn’t committed is ridiculous.

Presque Isle, Maine | The Aroostook Mental Health Center’s residential treatment program for addiction and co-occurring disorders is based in Presque Isle, Maine. Their 24/7 care means all of your needs are | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I completed the 28 day program at the farm last year, and overall had a good experience. Most of the staff are extremely helpful and really do care! The unfortunate part is like many others have experienced, they try to cram so much information in your head in 28 days that’s it’s almost impossible to retain any of it after the first week or two. I don’t remember much of my stay there. It was an opportunity to clean myself up, and meet some good people though. I would recommend it if you’re willing to work hard, can handle many hours of group therapy, and you are willing to stay clean. To date, I haven’t relapsed, so it must have worked! Also, if you wish to get involved in medically assisted treatment they don’t offer that there. So I would advise to start there before hand so you can have that extra tool to help while you’re there. I started m.a.t after I completed the program and that’s also been a help. Good luck!

In 2006 this was the 1st rehab I had ever been to. It was The Farm back then. Best experience ever. I loved how we had to study our addiction. Yes i relapsed several times after my time there, but because of what I learned there, when I was finally ready, I was able to get clean.

My experience was back in November. My husband was brought in with an appendix which burst. The Dr Noursfar said I should call the family. I knew then it was a very serious situation. My husband has undying condition that complicated things. The nurses on that night was beyond expectation. They were so attentive. They knew once he went upstairs I didn't know who was taking him from the emergency room. They called the nurse upstairs and they introduced her to me. I felt so comfortable and eased my fears a little bit more. The surgery took 5 hours. Every time I went upstairs to the surgery unit the girls met me with a smile. Finally, they sent him downstairs. The nurses, Dr Noursfar deserve a gold star! My husband came out that surgery but the Dr saw something he thought we should get checked out and again. He was right. My husband had lung cancer and is in remission. He's not 100% out of the woods. We are doing immunotherapy. Again, I'm proud of our hospital and the people who work there! Thank you!
