So here we go...I would like to tip my hat to all of you for being willing and able to deal with doing this job on a daily basis. It "IS NOT"easy in the least bit. When Al picked me up at Cape Cod Hospital after being displaced from Bay Cove Hyannis due to a fire there...thank goodness everyone got out of that fire btw...I felt a sense of relief. He was laid back, funny...etc. Joy, Brittany 2 lol, Val, "Z", were on point. However, I must say that Amy, Sharon and last but not least Brooke all stole the show. Great intermittent talks with these three helped me get through as what I deemed a tough crowd of clients. It was very close quarters and retreating to the back tv room was essential for me. Lots of cross talk and the lack of a hearing aid for one dude was not fun but inevitable. I only had five days there so I feel sorry for the employees. They need more space in there for EVERYONE. I could go on about specifics but will just leave it at the following. When a person is disabled, homeless for a year and going through a major PTSD event...being in such close proximity to others in perhaps similar situations gave me even more anxiety than when I entered. I actually hoped to go back knowing the players changed, but was denied by intake back on the Cape. So be it I suppose. What's on your plate? What's on others' plates? You NEED to consider and be able to recognize those questions before going. Lessons in life never cease to exist just know that your destiny is in your own hands.

Recently stayed 5 days. Staff was great..knew how to talk to me without attitudes and just being as honest as they have to be with directness yet kindness. That's how most people are able to understand more clearer. Especially with situations they are arriving with. Al was awesome ..good person to converse with if you can't sleep ..and need humour or just a talk. More places are needed WITH staff like this.

I love this clinic.
There's a man named Joey that works there and he is just the light of the building. He is so nice and has an amazing heart and he's genuine not doing it bc it's his job. Joey please never leave because the light in that building will dim very dark. You're the light of the place Joey. I have had the upmost great experience at HCRC. Dexter great guy first person I see every morning. Then I see Michelle she has been a truly great person, she always ask me if I am ok never mad always smiling. Then the head nurse has gone above and beyond to make me feel good the gentlemen nurse and all the other female nurses and consular. The nurses are Top Knots and unusually helpful and resourceful. The counselors that exist are all fair and kind, but constant short staffing and management issues cause a great place to only get a good rating. This is a for-profit clinic, so the higher up the management chain one goes, the further away an addict in recovery is from recovery. Unfortunately this company owns most of the clinics in the area, so one does not have a choice. This is also not unusual. There is no handicapped accessible entrance. You can go in the back way, around the back of the hospital, but you still have to walk a very good distance to the front door, and once inside it's very small so a person with mobility issues is going to struggle. I don't suggest anyone with mobility issues goes to this Clinic. He Corrections Officers in the back of the hospital, they have an entrance for the prisoners there. There is constant clashing with the handicapped clients and the Corrections Officers because there's no real protocol for handicapped patients. But overall this is a good place. Small, and they don't put up with any of the usual nonsense that goes on.( There are very few drug deals if at all that will go on here!). The security guard is top-notch as well and is very fair but firm. If you are not looking for Recovery, I suggest you go somewhere else because you won't last long here. I've had some personal issues with the take-home protocol as well as the short staffing resulting in treatment plans not being effectively instituted, but again this is management and has nothing to do with the day to day staff.

Been on liquid handcuffs for 3+ years finally starting to decrease my dose, this place saved my life they’re awesome and don’t treat you like an addict. My only complaint is they should make it easier for take homes. I don’t understand why they don’t give everyone 1 weeks worth and if the patient messes up then take them off. I feel like if I git take homes right away I could have winged myself off. Because yes Dr’s know a lot and a lot more than me but I know for a fact I know my body better than any doctor. Before this program, I was a broken, shell of a person. Five months later, I’ve got relationships with friends and family back. I have ambition, purpose, and I’m hopeful for the future. Between all of the therapists & case managers like Bri and JP, the staff at Ocean State actually cares. In comparison, no other program even comes close. If you’re on the fence about choosing a program or taking that first step to reach out for help, call Ocean State. I guarantee you won’t regret it.
EDIT: I was hired here shortly after completing the program and my opinion of this place has only gotten better since starting to work here almost a year ago.

I’ve been here for 15 plus years and my counselor Paul goes above and beyond for his patients. Most of the staff has been here for years and they’re great. If you follow the rules and keep your head down, mind your buisness you’ll have no issues with this place… some people have complaints but those are usually the people who do whatever they want and tend to forget how lucky we are to have this place. The photos aren’t from this clinic. I don’t know what clinic those are from. It’s a clean place though and constantly updated.

Staff was great except 1 wont give people that dont miss a group and do what they have to do there out dates after being there almost 30 days but will give the guys that dont do anything i mean nothing there out date after 14 days and lets them leave in 21 to 25 days he should treat everyone the same. Other than that all the staff was great for my 35 days there some go above and beyond when they dont have to the food absolutely sucks for the amount of money our insurance pays for us to be there the food should be way better. The nurses on unit 2 are more than great courtney Amanda shawna meghan to name a few amd the rest of them treated me with the up most respect give them a raise. The groups could be a little better seemed like we were learning the same stuff over and over each day. But other than that if i was to ever have a relapse again i would definitely go back there....i give 4.5 stars out of 5..

My experience at CCBC was welcoming but very little depth in sessions. I felt a lack of support and that my concerns may not have been understood or even unaddressed. I never reached advancement. Overall, this was a step forward, I have more people involved, and now my care has been shifted to more intensive. I'd recommend routine evaluations to ensure consistent effectiveness.

I hear through staff at Pathways and my recovery coach this will be a great resource for my lifestyle. I believe this could be the ticket to attend about the views given. I’m going to try a tour to see the in and out of this place. Can hardly wait to see and experience. Spectrum in weymouth MA is amazing. The clinical team there is second to none l. My quality of life has improved greatly after getting connected with this clinic. I couldn't imagine my life if I didn't have Alex, Derek, Gabby, and Kristin in my corner. The way that I have been built up to the person I want to be today not only makes me happy but also makes my family and the people around me happy. This place is fabulous. If your serious about recovery then this is for you. The staff is phenomenal and caring. I had a truly awesome experience there. The food isn't the best but it fills your belly. I can't say enough good things about this place other than there needs to be more places like this. I had ambulatory / outpatient surgery on my knee here last week, and dare I say, it was actually a pleasant experience! Every employee I encountered was professional and polite, from security, to check-in, to nurses and doctors. Staff was very caring and thorough, which is refreshing these days.
Because of my ride situation, I arrived about an hour early, but they accommodated me with no problem. The surgery went smoothly, and the recovery room nurse was excellent. Discharge also went smoothly, and it was easy for my ride to park close to the building, so an attendant could wheel me out to the car. I'd rate them a 10 out of 10.

Winsor House has it's perks it one stop shopping for housing utilities including but not limited to phone and internet it not much worse then a boarding house with room and board unless you are on D.I.. Trust funded entitlements (SSI) with only a S.S.I. State Supplement Payments and S.N.A.P. with no Survivors Benefits. I have to share my experience with the Xray department at Fatima. Carolina in scheduling was so accommodating after the frustration I experienced with broken x-ray machines at Landmark Medical. I missed two days of work because of their down machine and only received a phone call just before my appointment. Staff at Fatima went out of their way to make it possible to get my Xray scheduled the same day and not have to miss another day of work. All the staff from the security guard at the front entrance to the Xray staff and Radiologist were friendly and professional. I am hoping this hospital, as most of the others in RI, is not closing.

When I was young (about 4 years old) my brother (also about the same age) had autism and I had severe attachment issues with my mother. The Headstart program here, according to my mother, changed her life. She told me two weeks ago about how a social worker once arrived in her apartment and solemnly reported that she felt bad that my mother, a single mother, had to go through raising two difficult young children. But the people at Headstart were patient and took care of me when I was young. I still have fond memories of crying incoherently due to my levels of stress, but then being quietly reassured by the staff. I miss the people here. I will always be tearful when thinking about this place. They did so much for me and my mom. They were the sweetest people on Earth.
