Went here a few years back. During Covid, wild crowd, the intensity of the whole world to me was making me sick.
This was one of the greatest things to ever happen to me.
It is almost 5 years later and North Cottage stays with my soul everywhere I go. I love you guys so damn much
_yes as others said, intense as in drug testing and checking mens etc.
I earned trust and was able to go on runs into the woods almost every morning.
This was the place I found God, I had just lost my brother and almost lost myself. I love you guys
Thank you. The snow coming down in this trail i would run to each morning is a vision I can't get out of my head.
Can't forget it was the men and women who ran this place, mostly men, who made this happen. I dont usually write reviews. I thought about yall today and just wanted to tell you how much I love you.

The extent that this office (I don't want to name drop in the fear of forgetting the MANY people from receptionist, to providers, to those who keep the office immaculate up to and including the owner Dr.O.) Has gone to, to accommodate me and my insane schedule, is awe inspiring! M.R. quite literally, is a model of how addiction recovery SHOULD operate. I'm a commercial fisherman fluctuating from day trips to legit 2 week plus "trip fishing" Sadly, past experiences with other providers have been difficult, at best. My current provider devised a system of zoom, in office urinalysis, and in office visits, within a specific time frame so I can literary swing by when my crazy schedule allows and I remain in compliance. If your looking for a "pill mill" or to just "skate by" M.R. is NOT going to be your cup of tea. IF your looking to get your life in order and WANT to get sober, You'll be hard pressed to find such a legitimate operation that treats everyone with class, dignity, respect & privacy. The ENTIRE staff cares about everyone as a person, not a number. They want you to succeed and offer a TON of tools & resources far beyond medications to do so. Being a fisherman, zero set schedule, never know when you'll have a day off?, If the weather is good "enough" we fish. Being in recovery & finding a provider, n.m. front of the house staff that's accommodating, is quite simply near impossible. Finding all of this under one roof at Middlesex Recovery is not only a god sent, I doubt I'd have several years sober without! I don't so much as contemplate taking advantage of anything that may compromise my treatment or recovery as without it, being un-employed, would be the least of my problems. I get nothing for writing this other than wanting to give all the staff, in ALL M.R. locations!, massive kudos & the HOPES somebody struggling reads this and just maybe this encourages them to make a phone call that may alter their life immensely as it did mine!! Norton, MA | Taunton Emergency and Crisis Intervention is a drug and alcohol rehab in Norton, Massachusetts offering substance use treatment alongside mental health support for clients facing addiction and co-occurring disorders. The overall approach combines crisis response with longer term recovery support to meet people wherever they are in their journey. Cr | Treatments Programs Payment Options | So here we go...I would like to tip my hat to all of you for being willing and able to deal with doing this job on a daily basis. It "IS NOT"easy in the least bit. When Al picked me up at Cape Cod Hospital after being displaced from Bay Cove Hyannis due to a fire there...thank goodness everyone got out of that fire btw...I felt a sense of relief. He was laid back, funny...etc. Joy, Brittany 2 lol, Val, "Z", were on point. However, I must say that Amy, Sharon and last but not least Brooke all stole the show. Great intermittent talks with these three helped me get through as what I deemed a tough crowd of clients. It was very close quarters and retreating to the back tv room was essential for me. Lots of cross talk and the lack of a hearing aid for one dude was not fun but inevitable. I only had five days there so I feel sorry for the employees. They need more space in there for EVERYONE. I could go on about specifics but will just leave it at the following. When a person is disabled, homeless for a year and going through a major PTSD event...being in such close proximity to others in perhaps similar situations gave me even more anxiety than when I entered. I actually hoped to go back knowing the players changed, but was denied by intake back on the Cape. So be it I suppose. What's on your plate? What's on others' plates? You NEED to consider and be able to recognize those questions before going. Lessons in life never cease to exist just know that your destiny is in your own hands.

Recently stayed 5 days. Staff was great..knew how to talk to me without attitudes and just being as honest as they have to be with directness yet kindness. That's how most people are able to understand more clearer. Especially with situations they are arriving with. Al was awesome ..good person to converse with if you can't sleep ..and need humour or just a talk. More places are needed WITH staff like this.

Quincy, MA | Andrew House Detox is a medically monitored detox and stabilization program in Quincy, Massachusetts. The center provides supervised withdrawal support for individuals seeking recovery from substance use. The facility is associated with Bay Cove Human Services and focuses on providing a safe, structured environment during the earliest and most crit | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying “one of you is going down a dark road” really? These are the people to trust? These are the people “getting me better.” Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious.
So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them.
I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I’m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I’d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won’t name you but I know that you know who you are.
Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don’t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I’d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn’t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It’s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down.
That’s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder.
Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can’t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. Forever I love you, and miss you, and wish you the best. I would love to come speak one day at an event, I don’t live close by anymore but I’d love to make something so please contact. Anyone wondering if they should come here, yes. Yes you should.

Rockland Recovery has been an incredibly positive part of my recovery. That is why I chose to come back after leaving last time. The staff genuinely care about the people here, and that shows in everything from the clinical work to the groups and everyday interactions. The clinicians and group facilitators are knowledgeable, compassionate, and willing to meet people where they are. Ritchie Evans, Eddie Payne, Henry, and Mattie are all great.
The person I have connected with most is Ritchie. He is a solid dude with a great deal of lived experience, and he always offers something thoughtful and insightful. We share common bonds through addiction and combat service, so he understands parts of my experience that can be difficult to explain to someone who has not lived them.
One thing Ritchie said will forever change how I see recovery. He encouraged me not to think of people with addiction as simply being burdened with addiction, but as people who may have been chosen to serve a mission from God by using what we have survived to help others. That gave purpose to experiences I had previously viewed only as pain.
Rockland is fortunate to have Ritchie and the rest of this staff. This is a place filled with people who understand recovery, believe in the people they serve, and offer real hope.

Came to Dr. Lee for a nexus letter for my BCMR appeal. He asked the right questions, gave straight answers, and told me honestly that my case needed a forensic psychiatrist not just a nexus letter. Bedrock was truly a great experience to gain early recovery tools. Detox nursing were awesome. They always explained what medication was what and how it could/would affect me. Residential was as a great experience for me. Most techs actually have been through the program/recovery so they actually understand and care about you. The nursing up here was great as well. The nurse Linda loves all her clients like her own. The alumni coordinators are truly inspiring. Math was super helpful in my personal recovery! The nurses are Top Knots and unusually helpful and resourceful. The counselors that exist are all fair and kind, but constant short staffing and management issues cause a great place to only get a good rating. This is a for-profit clinic, so the higher up the management chain one goes, the further away an addict in recovery is from recovery. Unfortunately this company owns most of the clinics in the area, so one does not have a choice. This is also not unusual. There is no handicapped accessible entrance. You can go in the back way, around the back of the hospital, but you still have to walk a very good distance to the front door, and once inside it's very small so a person with mobility issues is going to struggle. I don't suggest anyone with mobility issues goes to this Clinic. He Corrections Officers in the back of the hospital, they have an entrance for the prisoners there. There is constant clashing with the handicapped clients and the Corrections Officers because there's no real protocol for handicapped patients. But overall this is a good place. Small, and they don't put up with any of the usual nonsense that goes on.( There are very few drug deals if at all that will go on here!). The security guard is top-notch as well and is very fair but firm. If you are not looking for Recovery, I suggest you go somewhere else because you won't last long here. I've had some personal issues with the take-home protocol as well as the short staffing resulting in treatment plans not being effectively instituted, but again this is management and has nothing to do with the day to day staff.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took care of me during my six-day hospital stay. Being in the hospital was one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever gone through, but the kindness, compassion, and professionalism of the doctors, nurses, aides, and support staff made all the difference.
Every person who cared for me treated me with respect, patience, and genuine kindness. The nurses were truly amazing—they checked on me often, listened to my concerns, made sure I was comfortable, and always took the time to explain what was happening. Their compassion helped me feel safe during a very difficult time.
Thank you for the incredible care, dedication, and hard work you put into helping your patients every day. I will never forget the kindness that was shown to me, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in my recovery.
You are all appreciated more than words can express. Thank you for everything you do. Especially Jill, Tag, Nirva…. And more that I can’t remember over my head but Guys yah Rock 🤘🏼…. Att: Sheila Matias

I stopped by the museum on a weekday afternoon, not really sure what to expect. The space itself is great, with a fun vibe and good beer, which makes for a perfect setting to appreciate some really unusual art. And the art is definitely the main attraction, with some pieces being hilarious, others thought-provoking, and a few that just leave you wondering what the artist was thinking. As I walked around, I noticed the sound of music playing softly in the background, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. But what really made the experience stand out was the commentary accompanying each piece, which added a layer of humor and insight into the artwork.
