I have been going to this clinic on and off for over a decade( like a decade and a half to be honest.) I of course could say some pretty Horrible Things about some of the treatment i revived there in the past. (( half my fault half their fault to be fair lol)) I Also can say that i wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for this place!! I mean.
I still don't like all the staff, but you're not going to every place you go. But for what's actually available in lansing this place Deserves more credit than it gets. Yeah, it might be a little understaffed at times, And with such an influx of people going there now. Sometimes there is it pretty annoying wait to dose but really we all know things could be way worse. By no means, am I saying that it's perfect, but i am saying that if u want it to work they will do everything to support you along the way. ◇Shout out◇ to ☆nurse-nikki☆ it really meant alot to me that u brought up doin the cows and told me my next up date..... Ive really been going through it lately and it was just the right

This place saved my life. If you’re ready to really get clean, this is the place to go. They won’t accept the excuses and BS and will call you out. Which is exactly what I needed. I just celebrated 9 years off my DOC. Vesna my therapist has helped me so much over the last 9 years. i truly don’t know where I would be without her help! Nurse Sheryl is awesome and I enjoy our interactions. Melissa at the front desk, is always there with a smile and soothing voice. I appreciate everyone at the clinic because I can imagine it’s a very high stress job! Thank you!

I am staying here for my first semester at MSU. It is a fairly nice dormitory. The rooms themselves are exactly like how you would expect a university dorm to look like, but there are amenities like multiple study areas and a nice cafeteria.

This is a wonderful program, truly making a difference in many lives. The WLRP staff are there for the ladies in the program, and become the family many of them need. This is also such a a great place to work, all the staff are passionate about what they do and it's an opportunity to really make a difference to those who need it.
The recovery center is Amazing! Briana, Stephanie, Emily, Chris, Betty, Melissa, Patty, and all the rest of the staff are amazing! They made my extended stay there very comfortable and I always felt safe and welcome!
Great place for therapy. Lovely staff. They have DBT and substance abuse counseling. They also offer help with housing and have supportive employment. Affiliated with CMH.

I see Josh Fortney for medication management and Viola for therapy and I can say with confidence that I've never had better mental health care. I've struggled with therapy my whole life because of trust issues, and I actually look forward to my appointments with Viola. These people have been so good to me. I can't give them enough praise - I feel like I finally have the tools and support to take my life back from mental health problems and Viola and Josh showed me how. I have all the love for them - they deserve vacations and raises :)

House of Commons Has a brand new, very clean interior, as well as Environment.
The staff are very intellectually and affectionately invested in helping their residents with effective reasoning and tactical coping management skills.
I was court ordered, however, I would recommend H.O.C. to anyone that's serious about their recovery and mental healing.
The food is good and the environment is very relaxed and accommodating. The facility let's you smoke outside at leisure. And they treat you like a civilized human.

The haven has saved me on and off for 30 years, staff in the early years offered mats to me while under the influence, I understand the strict policy now no policy no order, Jamie and Todd the daytime shelter manager is more than fair, I was self medicating, I know what I am dealing with now, I have the right medication and dosage I am no longer dependent on illegal substance's, I'm six years clean and I'm very interested in giving back through volunteer work, thank you HAVEN OF REST...!

I would also like to thank Mitch, Dre, and Chris for their help with getting what I needed to get into Silver Star for Veterans.
They were all very pleasant to work with and I would highly recommend it for the women and all Veterans. They can get the help with needed resources for locating housing and help for the Veterans to get in touch with resources from the VA.

It was a nice place warm . The staff was helping and did there job. But I had to leave, because someone thought I stole there purse. I didn't so I hope the people that did it gets caught. Thank you, God will bless me and watch me

I started having sessions here earlier this year. Even though I no longer attend as I am seeking something a little closer to home. The staff and therapists are all wonderful. I was treated with respect and dignity. They also made me feel extremely at ease with any interaction. Highly recomended
Cristo Rey gave me clothes and books. The first books on Philosophy and English literatura I got it in their free shop ( A history of western Philosophy by Bertram Russell, among others) I’m going to return the favor to them.

I did my intake/transfer from my muskegon clinic this morning and they were so good to work with and made me comfortable which is something I was worried about. The staff was super nice and professional! I'm excited to see where this next chapter of my sober journey will take me with this facility now! You can tell that they truly care which is more than needed.. If you want to get your life back from addiction and are ready for the change then please stop in there and let them help you. I have no ins and am a cash client but if I can do it which I have for 18mos clean now then anybody can!

Victory is helping me get my life back 👍🏽. it's difficult in the beginning, but worth the uncomfortable 1st day to get treatment started 🤢🤮😵💫I almost walked out a few times on day 1 but held on, and I'm so glad I did. The councilers & Doctor really have empathy for what people are going thru, they don't judge, and help you every step of the way. If your struggling with addiction of any kind 🙏🏽 please give this place a try. They offer different treatments to fit each person's needs/goals. Just be honest and transparent with them about what your doing & going thru and they can help get your life back.Medicaid accepted as well as lots of other options. It felt like a big family I miss all my friends it was a great experience I had a great time getting up and going to the club and seeing every one there I enjoyed my club house with my big family. I miss everyone .

I feel for the most part all the staff are pretty laid back, I get along with all of them, it seems pretty professional to me! Of course I hate that I have to drug test twice a week and do the groups and one on one meetings because it really messes with my job and I lose a lot of hrs every week but I put myself in the position that I'm in so no one to blame but myself. It would be nice if they could work around your job schedule better when it comes to groups and the one on one meetings! That's my only complaint!!

They talk a good talk... But can they Walk The Walk? It's easier to just talk to the newspapers than to the so many addiction people. They are unprooven at this point.
My daughter recently was admitted to this hospital after a suicide attempt. This place was amazing. She got the help that she needed. She felt seen & heard. And also got on some much needed medications. Well done Pine Rest.

I completed 8 days at their outpatient program back in March. The psychiatrist, Doctor McFarren, was absolutely amazing and I wish I could bring her into the outside world with me. She listened to how I was feeling and didn’t resort to putting me on some hard core addictive pill right away.
The program was nice as well, they had different classes you could choose from so if something didn’t apply to you, you didn’t have to attend. They also had activity classes which were really nice. Group therapy was great and it was nice to be with other people who understood what you were going through. Micah (my group leader), was absolutely amazing. I’m so thankful for them and how comfortable they made group.
The only complaint I have which I put on my outtake form was that the group leader Rachel, really should not be leading classes. She might do better with 1-1 or something like that but every class I had that she led, she was not interactive and acted like it was an inconvenience to be there. I even tried to walk out of one of the classes once I realized she was the instructor. One day when Micah was out, Rachel filled our class and we had multiple new people in group and multiple of them said that they were not coming back the next day. A couple girls and I talked to them and explained Rachel was not our normal counselor and Micah was great so they should come back the next day. Thankfully they did, but when I mentioned how much I was struggling with Rachel, over half of my group agreed and said they didn’t not want to take any of her classes and that they wished they knew who the instructor was before we signed up. Maybe for the future- adding the instructors names to the list would be helpful so we can choose accordingly :)
Derrick at the front desk was absolutely amazing as well!! And so is Ethan!! So thankful for most of the team there that made a difficult time in my life, seem not so difficult. I made life time friends from this program and I will forever be thankful for that.
