Life Stance is amazing. I was seeking talk therapy to address years of trauma that had been suppressed and wanted real professionalism. I found that and more through Ms. N. Jemison and Ms. K. Boylston. Two phenomenal women who listened effectively and weren't judgemental as my previous counselor was. I asked for spiritually grounded, understanding, and compassionate people who would relate to my experiences. I have formed a tight bond between the two and after the first couple of visits, it became as if I were talking to my best friends. They've assisted me through grief, after the loss of my mom and brother, identity theft and all of the lives that I was instrumental in helping transition to the Lord, via hospice. I would encourage anyone who is truly honest with themselves and are struggling with life challenges and and changes to seek assistance with Life Stance, it will help you heal.

Counseling and therapy associates. Changed my life for the better. When I came to them I was a complete mess. But thanks to Carmen, David, and Dr. Singh. My life has changed so much David is awesome he shows great compassion and understanding. I was scared and still scared that I'm not going to get another counselor that is half as great as David was to me. I just moved to Iowa so I can't see David anymore. And have to find a whole new office. I'm dreading it . Because I know how good I had it at CATA. This office cares about their patients I was their patient for ten years.

I met a lady named Elise here. She kept asking me why I didn't own an air fryer, and I found it disrespectful. Please ask your employees to not ask me such invasive questions. Other than that, I had a great and comfortable experience and now I have no mental issues anymore. This great place cured me of my schizophrenia, DID, BPD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorder, NPD, ASPD, OCD, autism, ADHD, bipoler, PTSD, and mental illness. Thank you so much. Gave 4 stars not because I've been there but because I've contacted them for some questions and they were really helpful and they do great things for people with very little money. I would've gave 5 stars but it's so far from my house that it's impossible for me to attend. The Salvation Army helped my family some years ago when they were in need and I'll always be greatful for that. I donate to the downriver store often.

This facility is, by far, the best in Michigan for mental health services. Something they offer that I've never received before was a case manager. Helps schedule appointments, checks in every month, arranges appropriate services based on what is most helpful to you, and provides resources on absolutely anything you may need. My case manager Abby even offered to help me on miscellaneous tasks such as going through/organizing paper stacks, basically anything you can think of, they are willing to help you with at the office. Case manager Abby even picked up clothing donations for my children as we had fallen on hard times. She has so many resources and she's been like an angel helping me manage things to make it easier on me so I can focus on therapeutic work. It's quite amazing the service I've received from Easter Seals. The psychiatrist, Dr. Linsk, is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I've ever had. He takes time at every appointment to listen to me. He keeps up to date on the latest research. He's even been the first to give me new diagnosises that go beyond generalized anxiety, depression, ect. As for therapy, I had the pleasure of meeting the best therapist I've ever had, Emma. Emma has since left as she was an intern, however, my success story continued as I met my next therapist. I've been to at least 6 other mental health centers and I've never been given any other therapy besides basic CBT talk therapy. My first meeting with the new therapist, I tell her I've been working on this same issue for 10 years, she selflessly said she'd like me to try another therapist who is trained in Exposure Therapy as it may be a better help for me. That other therapist came right in to the room with us, talked, and we all agreed to try this and that I can go back to regular therapy after completion. They even offer group therapy but I've not used that service. The therapists here are young and fresh and are educated on the latest research. They have a drive of providing quality care that I've never experienced before. The whole office is the top standard of mental health services. My only adverse experiences have come from the front desk. I am aware of how hard it is to deal with patients at the front desk. They always have to handle the problems and are looked to for a solution. I've witnessed patients not speaking very kindly to the ladies at the front desk, however, I have a few issues with them myself. Any time I come into the office, I wait at the counter behind glass while nobody acknowledges my presence. I listen to their personal stories as the whole waiting room can hear them. Someone from the back usually pops in after me standing in front of the window for 5 minutes and finally assist me. I've been forgotten to be checked in twice. I've had therapists calling me from inside their office to ask if I was coming today as I was in the waiting room well on time. Front desk is probably one of the toughest and lowest paying jobs at the center, however the front desk needs a lot of guidance because their quality does not match the quality of the whole office. The front desk staff brings the whole office score down and I hope to see that change in the future because the front desk is the first encounter for most clients. A lot of people who will benefit from this location may be deterred because of the mishaps. But overall, best service in Michigan. I don't understand the negative reviews as I feel the complete opposite. Especially since I've been told and feel comfortable asking for a change in therapists or doctors if I'm not finding a good fit. Therapy works both ways. I'm sure with the quality mental health providers, you will find a good match. I'm so thankful to have found this location and I encourage others looking for quality care to reach out for assistance. This may just be the last road to recovery of your mental health you'll need to walk. They provide so much support. I don't know how they do it all! Thank you. You've all been angels in my life! :)

I haven't had much luck making a good connection with the therapists, partially my fault for not making more time. But the psychiatrists have truly been a godsend. When I first set my appointment in 2020, I really was on the verge of not existing. Now it's four years laters and I'm days away from a college degree. Dr. Linsk is very professional and goes the extra mile to make sure you get what's needed from appointments and medications don't run out.

Got some fresh eggs here. They were solid.

I went to the farm and stayed for a little over 3 months. The treatment duration is determined by the therapists. The shortest duration I saw was 2 1/2 months. Longest I saw was 4 months but most do around 90 days. I had moments I really loved the farm, and others where I felt like I hated it. Their rules are really strict and you’re there for a while. However, it did work for me. It was a long journey. I got yelled at for breaking rules, for sleeping in, and absolutely resented waking up early every morning to do work duties. Definitely cried a few times. By day 50 I was like “get me the heck out of here” but had months to go. But every time I got upset, I’d sleep on it and always decided to stay. Now I’m much better. I can wake up for an actual job early without a problem. I have more self control, more friends, more support, I try to follow the rules in real life situations, try to be a good person, and have a much more rewarding life overall. The Farm is really challenging but it does actually work if you listen to them and do what they tell you to do and don’t fight it. It’s hard to follow their schedule and rules every day for so long, but it just might change your life.

Dr. Sam may be a very busy guy but he is very intelligent and caring, it takes time to find the right combination of meds and he knows what he is doing. Also if you have things to talk about write them down and he will talk to you. I think he’s a good psychiatrist, and I would recommend this place.

Absolutely horrible from the staff to the services.

Their therapists like gutting your intestines out then make you pick them back up and call it "therapy". I was fine with the therapist i had for about a year and a half then over the course of 4 weeks her "clinisism" turned into heartlessness. As soon as she blew me off for "not using DBT skills" i called the office, told them to take me out of their system, and booked with a different provider. I've always hated this place.

Patient care is always a plus for me going here.

My son has been going here for several months now, if it wasn't for this place and their wonderful staff, I might have never known the abuse his father did to him and his little brother behind my back. It took him almost 2 years to come forward about all the abuse him and his brother endured at the hands of their father, it was heartbreaking as their mother to know such evil was living under the same roof. I asked him many times if he wanted to see his father, his answer was always no. Now i know why his answer was always no. Great place to help kids deal with abuse and trauma. I really wish family court judges would stop putting kids with their abusers.

An excellent healing and therapeutic environment for children who have experienced traumatic events. I recommend Jessica as a therapist. She is kind, compassionate and very effective at helping kids move through their trauma.

The supervisor Melissa is the best! She's so great at her job.

Maria is exactly the therapist I was looking for. She is solution focused, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, humble and kind.

I love this office and my doctor. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. Once you have been coming in for a while, they remember who you are!

I went there for a couple years and met Maria as a counselor she really was understanding listened very well and out of my twenty counselors that I had in my life she was most understanding and the only one to believe me about a circumstance I was going thru because she another patient that was going thru the same trauma. And dr. Norwich who who is my specialist and after twenty years of being over prescribed meds that changed who I was I met him and he kept me on one med and I’m doing the best I have in a very long time. He’s so nice and very professional yet I feel very comfortable with and I need to get back into counseling so I will try to get Maria back whoever’s got them is very lucky

Not been in program here but as a Christian Street Minister and familiar with there program would highly recommend for those who want God to transform their lives!!

Life Challenge is a life saver for me. I’m so grateful to Pastor Jeff Bonzelar and my spiritual mom pastor Sheila as well as the teachers Bro Ken Keane, Bro Bob…and so many others. You have got to want change in your life for this to work. You’ve got to ask God to come into your heart ♥️ and do the work that needs to be done. I was walking around dead in sinking sand and God lifted me up and placed my feet on solid ground. I’ve completed 19 years and still standing for Jesus Christ. I encourage everyone to not let Satan get in your way. If you don’t like this one go find another Teen Challenge or Life Challenge. There are many more. But this was the best one for me. If you come God will plant a seed in you. Just let it grow and grow and grow. And DON’T GIVE UP. BECAUSE GOD DOES NOT GIVE UP ON YOU. AMEN! ♥️♥️♥️

I found a great, caring group of people who worked with me.

Ive been going to the clinic for over 5 years now. They saved my life. They are great people who seem to genuinely care about you. Even if you mess up they help you get back on track. The other area clinics do not compare to WMCTC. It's nice and clean like a Dr's office. They do nice things for holidays and always do what's in the patients best interest!
