Please Read: I do not recommend anyone to choose Serenity! Please consider all of your options as Serenity only gives you busy work to do, instead of truly working on underlying issues. My experience with them was not only a nightmare, but SEVERAL clients that go there have left due to the staffs disrespectful attitude, & the way that they treat you. You go all day without being able to do simple things, such as have a cup of water. The only time you get a cup to drink out of is during meals. Otherwise, you have to drink out of a water fountain and with the pandemic.. it’s highly unsafe. They say practice social distancing when the clients are outside smoking so that they can’t get together and talk about how they are treated. Yet, when it’s time for group they pack you in one group room like sardines. I had to go to the hospital during my stay, the hospital called them to let them know I was being discharged, yet it took 3 1/2 hours standing outside in the heat for Serenity to pick me up. The staff claimed they weren’t contacted, when a staff member had violated the HIPPA laws and reported to other clients that the hospital called and I was being discharged. They have literally dropped off clients at the hospital, and knew that they weren’t staffed enough to pick those said clients up, and those clients literally had to walk from the hospital back to rehab. I know a treatment center is obviously not supposed to be a cake walk, however they are very mean to clients. They will drop medication on the floor, yet still expect you to take the medication that was on the floor! The counselors do not spend time with you like they should, and instead give you “busy work,” to keep you out of their hair. They knew that I reported to my husband on my nightly calls the things they were doing, so they started listening in on my phone calls to make sure that I wouldn’t disclose certain information to my husband. They in fact told me not to tell him certain things or I would end up on a behavioral contract. They are way overpopulated by clients, understaffed where clients don’t get the appropriate attention or care that they need in order to get sober. The counselors have a disgusting attitude and will tell your loved ones whatever they want to hear regarding your treatment. They never take responsibility for anything. Their vivotrol shot literally sent me to the hospital. This time, they insisted my husband take me since they left me at the hospital the first time around. The doctors said to stay on bed rest for two days due to an allergic reaction. However, the next day they made me get out of bed regardless of what medical professionals insisted. Even if you tell the higher ups, because you are an “addict or alcoholic,” they will obviously take whatever the staff claims at face value. Notice most good reviews are from the family of loved ones, not usually people that experience it themselves. Also, if they did experience it the excuse they have is treatment isn’t supposed to be someone catering to you. Serenity’s website is not only misleading but it’s false advertisement. This is not only a 28 day program. They can keep you as long as they see fit. Some I’ve seen have to stay several months. If you EVER want to seek out help, go to IAC in Bartlett. They are amazing! You aren’t treated differently because of your addiction, and they would never talk down to you like Serenitys staff will. Please, Please take all of the bad reviews into consideration before you are a loved one goes to this treatment facility. People are leaving there all of the time and dying!! They claim to be the best in Memphis, but I promise you, find other options! Brenda and Molly are the counselors for women there, and they have awful attitudes, the Psychologist was a meth addict and isn’t even allowed to write prescription medication. He also claimed that I didn’t have ADHD but it was then confirmed by several people that not only did I have it, but that’s probably one of the main reasons I behaved certain ways my whole life. Disgusting Program 👎🏼

If it weren’t such a long wait to have a 15 minute surgery done then I would have given my rating a 5 star. I was told to be there at 6:30 am and I was early by maybe 5 mins and like I said I had a EDG done which is a very short procedure and I did not walk out until 11:35. Once I was put in a room my husband and I waited in that room for 3 hours before I was taken to the surgery room I still waited for a good 20 to 25 mins before I was knocked out for the Dr. to do his thing. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely LOVE my doctors he is GREAT it was the staff that I was not happy with. Because they were not in a hurry at all. I was stuck 4 times before I got an IV in my arm. Which was enough to make me want to leave and I would have if not for my husband talking me into staying. If I’d been by myself I would have left after the second stick in my arm. It wasn’t a pleasant experience AT ALL!!!

If you’re scrolling and feeling stuck, just like I was, take a breath and keep reading.I found RecoveryPath Helpline when everything felt like it was crashing. I didn’t know what I needed — I just knew I couldn’t keep doing what I was doing. I called them thinking I’d get some automated voice or someone cold on the other end. But instead… I got a real person. Calm. Kind. They actually listened. They didn’t throw a bunch of medical terms at me or make me feel small. They asked me simple stuff like, “How are you feeling right now?” and “What do you need today?” No pressure, no judgment. Just support. They stayed on the line while I cried. Helped me find a detox center nearby. Even followed up later to see how I was holding up. That meant something. This helpline isn’t just a number. It’s a lifeline. If you’re scared to reach out, I get it. But trust me — they’ll meet you where you are. No shame. Just help. Call ‘em. Don’t wait till it gets worse. You’re not alone, even if it feels like it. RecoveryPath helped me believe that again. Maybe it can do the same for you. 💙

RecoveryPath Helpline came through when I was at rock bottom and had no clue what to do next. I called in the middle of the night thinking I’d get voicemail or some automated stuff — but a real person picked up, calm and patient, like they actually cared. They didn’t rush me, just talked me through it and helped me breathe. Within an hour, they had me lined up with the right detox center and support I could afford. That one call flipped everything. I didn’t feel alone anymore — they had my back when it mattered most.

Memphis, Tennessee | Compass Intervention Center is a drug and alcohol rehab center located in Memphis, TN. They provide substance abuse treatment and psychiatric care for children and teens. Addiction-related services at this facility include inpatient addiction treatment, outpatient and intensive outpatient addiction treatment. Inpatient addiction treatment This prog | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Dear Compass Faculty (And my rock-on therapist Mr. Husain 🤘),
As an honest review, Compass Intervention Center and their staff—excluding the bitter bunch in which a large majority of these reviews are angry towards—have done things for me I would have never realized until it came into fruition, and when I had permissible moments to act on those teachings. I entered March of 2023, and got out August of the same year, and endured 1 month of intensive outpatient— it has been a journey since then. Let me remenisce, and give what I've learned.
It is important to recognize that everybody's stay is unique not only to their treatment, but also under the inevitability of group therapy sessions and cramped spacing; there is always bound to be conflict. A large number of the teenagers complaining here are indubitably indignant and likely for good reasons, but none of them touch on what they could gather from it.
Compass Intervention Center in the grand scheme of it's intention is a broad system of tough love, independent garnering, and isolation. Those three conditions can have drastic effects on mental health, positive and negative, dependent on one's susceptibility to information. One of the first things Compass teaches you is schedule, and importance of the present. Although people can take their resentment with a full convicted reason to be angry, a crucial piece that they also teach is mechanical indifference. Learning not to give in to pressure, and thus that is where we learn coping mechanisms that suit our needs and are socially permissable (I still have my stress ball on my shelf, thank you Mr. Husain 🙏). As well, isolation can be subjective but also literal in an abstract sense, as we become keenly aware that all that we know is now no longer within our grasp, but we focus on what isn't in our grasp anymore rather than what is within our reach. It's always easier to leave something broken than take the time to fix it.
These skill sets are crucial, and a large portion of the patients focus purely on their surroundings rather than contemplating any of the therapy set in front of them, and those that finally decide to take their therapy seriously are those that walk out anew. It isn't prison, despite how rough it got in there; nearly all of the staff tried their best to keep us safe, and what is growth without external factors to temper it, and harden the growth to ensure we don't digress? That's therapy ya'll.
Sincerely, Tristin G (AKA the one who gave the Compass Treasure Trove its name, and eviscerator of Mr. Tom 🫡♡)

Memphis, Tennessee | Delta Specialty Hospital is a drug and alcohol rehab located in Memphis, Tennessee. They provide multi-level care for individualized addiction treatment. Addiction-related services provided at this location include inpatient addiction treatment, an intensive outpatient program, a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, and | Treatments Programs Payment Options | As a child, I was there when it was Madison oaks Academy transitioning into “Oaks Behavioral Hospital”
I was there for 2 1/2 years as a ward of the state.
I will say, this place was extremely corrupt. As an adult, I’ve had my prior therapist that worked there who will remain unknown, apologize to me because she couldn’t get me out of there and for all of the things I endured there.
There’s ones that care, but it doesn’t outweigh the corrupt ones there.
If you’re a parent, looking for a place to seek help for your childs mental health… this isn’t the place to take them. Take it from the child that was there.
Heather Austin
This is not the place to take your child. I was in this facility when I was 16 and I am currently 23. Looking back on it, I wasn’t a good kid but I wasn’t bad either. I didn’t smoke, do drugs, or drink. I was on track to graduating early and I didn’t skip school. I was on the swim team. I just have always had a mouth on me. I’ll say what I say when I say it. So my family sent me here because of that.
This place put me in a drug class. I didn’t even know what drugs were beside weed. Well I learned everything in that class. What’s the pure kind of stuff, what stuff makes you feel what type of way. Getting out of that place, I wanted to try all these new things I learned. I’m now 2 years sober and I wouldn’t have had to be this way if it weren’t for me bing put in there.
Staff is completely unprofessional. There were a raw staff members that actually cared but there was even an article about nurses stealing our medication. The therapist I was assigned was extremely rude and 100% on the parents side. And that’s what’s messed up about these places. They automatically think the parents are right. I didn’t communicate things properly, but I was a child. I would never do the things my parents did and I would NEVER agree with someone allowing things like that to happen.
You barely get any time to go outside and actually feel the fresh air. Girls in there will start fights for absolutely no reason. Just don’t take your kid here. Go to therapy with your kid first and try to resolve things at home. These places just want your money

This is by far the best Clinic I've been to, and I've been through some programs. I've been coming here for awhile now and hands down the best Doctors to Nurses also there Therapist who will go out of her way to help you with whatever is going on in your life. I always feel Welcomed and I leave feeling like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I just wanted to thank everyone there for just being them and treating me like a person and not just another number. Thank you to everyone at Everwell Clinic in Murfreesboro TN, keep up the good work it really means alot to me. Have a great day. JAKE STASINOPOLOS. P.S for everyone that is being rude to Lora and the rest of the staff, remember why your here. This place is here to try and help you the best way they can, just because it doesn't fit your time limit remember what got you here and why you're coming to a place like this. These people have to deal with patience's coming in sick and rude, cussing them out because it's not fast enough or trying to get away with falsifying a drug test and when you get caught or there not fast enough to your standards, think about what they have to go through day in and day out dealing with a program like this. Lora and the staff there are some of the most patient people I've seen working at a Suboxone Clinic. Also for the People saying that the staff plays Doctor, who are you to judge what they do are any of you Doctors or R.N's? Remember why your coming here in the first place and then put yourself in there shoes and try to keep a smile all day and still be professional. I've personally seen people cuss them out because there Pharmacy is taking to long or they can't get it cause there to early, well that's not there fault take your medication as prescribed and there won't be any issues. Remember why your coming to a place like this, so take it easy and look at yourself first before you go and give a review that i believe they don't deserve because you didn't get your way. People remember what got you here, your own actions now live with the consequences and don't blame anyone but yourself. 💯

I've been harassed by Lora my last few visits to this office to write a review for her because she's been getting bad ones on here. She whines and complains about how hard her life is and how she doesn't even have time to get her nails done because she's so overworked. People come to this place to get treatment for their sobriety not for lora. She is so unprofessional. It's a shame this is part of the experience. The rest of the staff here are good. I hope whoever reviews these says something to her about this experience and this office can become the place it should be.

The 2nd time he refused to submit to leadership & was asked to leave. HC leadership is godly & loving. I highly recommend this ministry!!!
