I tried everything... LITERALLY EVERYTHING! I now have 5 months sober, have a stable full time job, and custody of both my children back. It definitely takes doing the work on yourself as well but methadone is a great support medication while getting through these things. Life couldn't be better. If you are serious about getting help I recommend BHG 100%.

I came in to JACOA in May of 2023. I had been thru SOME SHIT. To say the least. And I needed some help and guidance on how not only to better myself, but HEAL myself.And I tell you what. JACOA did that. Am I a completely healed human? Nope. Do I credit them for everything I've accomplished this far? Yes. Because THEY gave me the tools I needed. Every one of them. From the head honcho, down to the monitors every night taking us for chill breaks. I love them, to the core. Beth was an amazing counselor, and the rest of the counselors were awesome too. Kudos to a really great staff.To elaborate? They taught me how to handle my anxiety and my stress. Without booze. Without weed. Just myself. Learning to live sober, was probably one of the best adventures I've lived so far. Because that, was wild. I read ten books in 28 days. I hadn't picked up a book since my mother died, nearly 9 years prior. And I was an avid reader.I begged for the library keys, and eventually, I didn't have to beg. I was given them, because I proved I was responsible and could handle a door.It takes one door at a time, sometimes.And hey, the food wasn't too bad either!

JACOA was so amazing I went there twice!! I had been a chronic relapse for 20 years and the last treatment center I ever had Tn go to was JACOA!! That says a lot about who they are as a substance abuse program. The staff met me where I was in my journey with compassion and kindness ,because most of them had their own personal story of recovery. They got me! They really understood me!! Everytime I call this rude lady answers says I'm not enrolled and to call Memphis. I call Memphis and they say I'm enrolled, and have been and to call Tupelo back. Rude lady answers again, the loop continues. Meanwhile my wife who is also a veteran was seen right away despite enrolling after me. *Update* called big VA who went through Memphis down to Tupelo. Big VA said Tupelo needs to assign me a primary care manager. The nice big VA lady tried to get ahold of anyone there and no one answered... She was on the phone for 35 minutes... She tried to get a patient advocate and nothing. Still no appointment I am literally just trying to get a physical and labs. Day 3 and who knows what amount of hours. Going in person tomorrow. What a joke.Edit: I went in person and got an appointment. The medical staff is outstanding. They're five stars the admin staff is a solid zero.

Best VA clinic around has been my experience. I know from time to time the phone doesnt get answered but you will see that anywhere. My health care at this facility gets a 5 STAR PLUS ratings. Receptionists do their job so not being overly friendly does not come into play. The nurse for Dr. Thompson is spot on, friendly, and never fails to ask how I am feeling. Dr. Thompson never rushes through my appointment. He tells me whats going on with me,and then asks If I have any questions or concerns. I am well taken care of.

Lifecore was quick at scheduling my initial appointment after my intake appointment. The wait was maybe 5 mins which is awesome compared to other medical facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful as far as my treatment plan. Would highly recommend.

I walked into this place with the shirt on my back and they came and asked me to list my sizes so I did and they not only clothed me but showed me love and what I needed to know to stay clean and sober it's the best intense therapy I've ever had and today I have 1 year clean a healthy relationship and a good job and I know that they are always there if I need them but hands down best people I met
