All without exception are warm, welcoming and attentive, really care about patients. Excellent environment to recover.

My son came back to me like I remember him before drugs. His smile had returned and he was humble. Not only was he treated for his addiction but JACOA also treated his depression. That was ! year ago and today he is a father to his children, employed and a productive member of society. When JACOA says they are changing lives and saving lives they mean it. I am a mother of an addict and JACOA changed my life too!!

If you're seeking to enhance your quality of life and need assistance with managing various challenges such as eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and more, this is the place to turn to. I’ve read some of the negative reviews and I don’t agree with people saying that team of professionals don’t really help. Truth be told that if you’re going anywhere expecting someone to fix you then that is the root of the problem. You have to WANT to help yourself first, putting in the hard work that it takes before anyone can help you. My experience with them was exceptional and far surpassed my expectations. Making the decision to seek their help was one of the best choices I've made in selecting my healthcare team. The fact that my family and friends have noticed changes in my behavior and actions demonstrates their expertise and effectiveness. I've never encountered a facility where so many therapists, the doctor, nurse, and administrative staff work seamlessly as a cohesive team. Elizabeth, Rob, Laura, Star, Stuart, Jennifer, Trina, Mitch, Danielle, Shelby, and Justin will make things happen for you, again, if you’re putting in the work! Their administrative team, Angel and Andrea are the absolute BEST! Their nurse, Monica has me remembering my medications by memory including the dosages/frequencies. And Dr. Raj is authentic, he listens, and will keep it real with you. Therefore, if you're committed to making positive changes and gaining control over the issues I mentioned, this organized team of professionals can assist you in achieving your goals. Thank me later!

This would probably be my go to place any time I'm suicidal again. Its amazing. You see a doctor daily and the environment is amazing. You can watch tv,or play board games or cards all day. You can literally sit on a phone call with someone all day,as long as you want. You can be in your room too all you want and relax, sleep more of you want. Food is amazing, and they make sure you're full. I went when there wasn't alot of people so they were constantly giving us seconds. Staff is sweet and chill. You can color or draw all day if you want. Sadly the showers were like luke warm or cold. But you can shower any time and as many times as you like. It felt like home. You can even wear your own clothes there and make sure to bring an abundance of clothing to wear and be washed daily. You can see a psychiatrist and doctor and all daily and i felt like they really listened and cared how i felt and helped me pave a way to success. And if i needed a med to try out it was easy to get approved for, such as an inhaler for my asthma or something to help me sleep better. Just tell them and they will try it out for you that night or the next. They also have coffee, which may appeal to others but not me,i dislike coffee. You do have to be in your rooms by ten pm i believe, but you don't have to be asleep, just in your room.

The worst 4 days of my life. I came out worse than when I went in. I was truely traumatized by my stay. Nursing staff was uncaring and cruel. Techs slept in the hallways while doing 1:1 watch. I was left in soiled scrubs (menstrual blood and breast milk, as I had been nursing an infant at the time) for over 24 hours without being given clean scrubs or the clothing my family delivered. Other patients, some who had been there for weeks, were denied clean towels and laundry services. We ate dinner at 4:30 p.m. and were not permitted to eat again until 9 a.m., and were also denied regular access to water. And the Human Resources Stacy did nothing to help me

Compass Intervention Center is a drug and alcohol rehab center located in Memphis, TN. They provide substance abuse treatment and psychiatric care for children and teens. Addiction-related services at this facility include inpatient addiction treatment, outpatient and intensive outpatient addiction treatment. Inpatient addiction treatment This prog
Dear Compass Faculty (And my rock-on therapist Mr. Husain 🤘), As an honest review, Compass Intervention Center and their staff—excluding the bitter bunch in which a large majority of these reviews are angry towards—have done things for me I would have never realized until it came into fruition, and when I had permissible moments to act on those teachings. I entered March of 2023, and got out August of the same year, and endured 1 month of intensive outpatient— it has been a journey since then. Let me remenisce, and give what I've learned. It is important to recognize that everybody's stay is unique not only to their treatment, but also under the inevitability of group therapy sessions and cramped spacing; there is always bound to be conflict. A large number of the teenagers complaining here are indubitably indignant and likely for good reasons, but none of them touch on what they could gather from it. Compass Intervention Center in the grand scheme of it's intention is a broad system of tough love, independent garnering, and isolation. Those three conditions can have drastic effects on mental health, positive and negative, dependent on one's susceptibility to information. One of the first things Compass teaches you is schedule, and importance of the present. Although people can take their resentment with a full convicted reason to be angry, a crucial piece that they also teach is mechanical indifference. Learning not to give in to pressure, and thus that is where we learn coping mechanisms that suit our needs and are socially permissable (I still have my stress ball on my shelf, thank you Mr. Husain 🙏). As well, isolation can be subjective but also literal in an abstract sense, as we become keenly aware that all that we know is now no longer within our grasp, but we focus on what isn't in our grasp anymore rather than what is within our reach. It's always easier to leave something broken than take the time to fix it. These skill sets are crucial, and a large portion of the patients focus purely on their surroundings rather than contemplating any of the therapy set in front of them, and those that finally decide to take their therapy seriously are those that walk out anew. It isn't prison, despite how rough it got in there; nearly all of the staff tried their best to keep us safe, and what is growth without external factors to temper it, and harden the growth to ensure we don't digress? That's therapy ya'll. Sincerely, Tristin G (AKA the one who gave the Compass Treasure Trove its name, and eviscerator of Mr. Tom 🫡♡)

We've been here twice. All his clothes were lost, including his shoes, that are expensive and specific to his gait and disabilities. They went home with another child, despite my son repeatedly pointing out that they filed his shoes under the wrong name. He came home barefoot, and we had to buy a different shoe that doesn't work as well because the kind he needs were sold out that day. Losing his clothes is a genuinely big deal, and it happened both times. Otherwise, the staff are responsive and kind. It's easy to get info and stay informed. Everybody stays current with his chart, his allergies, and whatnot.

Dr Meadows is far one of the most genuine and compassionate people I’ve ever had the honor to meet. He listened to me (without judgement) and began a new treatment plan for my severe insomnia! I thank the good Lord he is part of my care team now! Will be a lifetime friend and caretaker

I am an established patient here and Reggie who was helping out with calls really helped me update my info and didn’t rush me and also got me in a slot to see my doctor that was urgent. He should actually help out more as his customer service is exceptional!!! I always have a hard time calling to get an appointment but this time Reggie took care of everything for me. Thanks Reggie!!!
