I was there in 2012. My counselor was Tiffany. She never experienced what we went through. She said her brother did. She was on a high shell. She told me I’d never make it. I’d never have my kids. She made me make the decision to turn my self in because I’d rather do jail than her not see me. I told her the first time I met her I was done with drugs I will have my kids I will raise them. An I been clean 13 years. I got my kids I raised them on my own. My post is maybe they shouldn’t judge so much. Cuz yeah maybe 9 out 10 do go back. But their is us that make it that 1 percent that everyone is betting on going back to the drugs a the life. This house did nothing for me but I made it. She was not a good choice for me. Like I told her I was done an I will make an I will raise my children an I did. I enjoy the experience there I met lots of great people there. Even tho I left. I made it.

The Extra Mile is an extremely special place. The team is incredible and is supportive and works cohesively to provide care to every individual. They foster a sense of community and truly impact the lives of individuals on a personal level. I know some of the most amazing individuals both clients and staff alike who I have worked alongside through my journey at the mile and can say that each continue to impact my life on a daily basis in the most incredible ways.
There’s a balance between structure and reflection to help individuals learn to have fun while being sober (this can be a scary and foreign thing to many in early recovery) while assisting in self-reflection and growth helping individuals connect through a combination of different treatment modalities tailoring to different learning styles too while also connecting to community, demonstrating what it means to have a support group, and offering time for exploration of self.

Oak plaines saved my child’s life. Literally. She had so much testing done that primary doctors don’t do. It helped to determine what meds suite her best and showed other deficiencies which contributed to poor behavior. She is a new kid. She’s smiling, laughing, enjoying life. I stopped a 20 year addiction to cocaine and alcohol in November, 2024. After my treatment I was released to Bradford Health Services for "intensive outpatient" classes. Allison Neal and Melissa Wisdom are 2 employees at this facility. I have to say that they show more care and gave more help to me, than anyone in my entire recovery. They truly blessed my walk. And if it wasn't for them, I would have relapsed a couple of times. They need their praise.

I graduated from here in 2013 and anytime I am working with someone who needs rehab I always think of Freedom House. I believe in the work they did there. I got to know Jesus here even though it is not a faith based program. The people who worked there then were doing it right. My dream is to someday have my own inpatient recovery center and I will incorporate many of the same practices that they did. I will always be grateful for this place. I hope it never changed from what it was then.

Best VA clinic around has been my experience. I know from time to time the phone doesnt get answered but you will see that anywhere. My health care at this facility gets a 5 STAR PLUS ratings. Receptionists do their job so not being overly friendly does not come into play. The nurse for Dr. Thompson is spot on, friendly, and never fails to ask how I am feeling. Dr. Thompson never rushes through my appointment. He tells me whats going on with me,and then asks If I have any questions or concerns. I am well taken care of.

I was there this year ngl it was pretty wild there. Erik, and Selena were the best tech of all treated the patients with more care than most. The worse tech was named OJ african dude always threw away food that was left over than letting a patient eat or drink. Waste no sugar was allowed along with forced to drink decaf. My son spent 3 months at Stonewater a year and a half ago and had a fantastic experience. He thanked us for sending him and credited Stonewater with saving his life. After he came home he was able to participate in ongoing alumni support calls, and was doing well until recently when due to a couple of traumatic events in his life he fell back into old coping skills. I reached back out to Stonewater and received help in finding a great place for him to return to recovery, now as an adult, and Stonewater has continued to work with the staff at the new facility to make his care as seamless as possible. Even his counselor - whom he says is the best counselor he ever had - reached out to me by email immediately and is working with his new counselor and with him as he moves forward. We can’t praise Stonewater enough! Our son, our home was in need of intervention. Today I’m happy to report our son is over 1 year clean and our family trio is learning to listen and to be accountable to one another. It is a journey and process. With the continued support for not only the boys but the parents/families as well, it truly sets this place apart from other recovery centers.
Our backstory, Kaleb was 14 years old and on a path of destruction which ultimately landed him in juvenile detention. When facing the judge we pleaded with him to give him yet another chance, but this time was to be sent to Stonewater. After a lot of research including reading the many stories that sounded like ours, we felt like we had hope. A 90 program seemed like forever but it was worth every moment.

Magnolia ranch help me turn my life around!!!! Every employee there actually cares about you and goes above and beyond their job to help you along your journey to recovery. Wanted to share my latest experience here at Oxford. I did have some reactions to the detox meds and instead of taking any chances they sent me to the emergency room in Oxford to get checked out as I am a previous stroke victim. I appreciated the concern on my behalf the medical staff had for me.
And I want to give a special shout out to Michelle Lytham who was the person they sent to pick me after after I was cleared at the hospital. She remembered me from another time I was a client her and met me with a huge smile and was very concerned. On the ride home she went on and on about making sure I was ok. They are lucky to have her on staff. Also my therapist Sabrina and my case manager Monica are going above and beyond to try to see that I do not return unless I'm coming to speak as an alumni.
Also was happy to see Barry in the morning meetings. Such an insightful guy when it comes to addiction and addressing the clients in a knowledgeable and fun way. Oxford is lucky to have him as well.
I guess I shouldn't expect that a 35 year addiction would go away easily.
But as some people say
"third times the charm" I know much better this time what not to do after leaving. Hope to come back as an experienced speaker. Much love to all

To whom this may concern my name is Jamie Johnson I was a client at the Haven in West Memphis Arkansas I would just like to stay that the staff that they have there are top-tier crew everyone down and up from the nurses the bht's housekeeping dietary medical assistant case management and they have talked to your staff as well my experience there has changed my whole life I will tell anyone if you are going through anything mentally physically emotionally or even if you're going through a drug problem of addiction The Haven in West Memphis will be the best place for you to go I personally myself would like to think the whole staff from the top to the bottom because every last one of y'all have been a top-tier people for me God bless you all and God keep you all JJ.

I was given the privilege recently of touring Freeman Recovery Center. Zach was gracious enough to show us around each facility and informing us of the full array of services offered. The staff at Freeman care deeply about their clients and their mission. Also, The interior and exterior of the buildings were very aesthetically pleasing.
