The Extra Mile is an extremely special place. The team is incredible and is supportive and works cohesively to provide care to every individual. I was there this year ngl it was pretty wild there. Erik, and Selena were the best tech of all treated the patients with more care than most. The worse tech was named OJ african dude always threw away food that was left over than letting a patient eat or drink. Waste no sugar was allowed along with forced to drink decaf. Wanted to share my latest experience here at Oxford. I did have some reactions to the detox meds and instead of taking any chances they sent me to the emergency room in Oxford to get checked out as I am a previous stroke victim. I appreciated the concern on my behalf the medical staff had for me.
And I want to give a special shout out to Michelle Lytham who was the person they sent to pick me after after I was cleared at the hospital. She remembered me from another time I was a client her and met me with a huge smile and was very concerned. On the ride home she went on and on about making sure I was ok. They are lucky to have her on staff. Also my therapist Sabrina and my case manager Monica are going above and beyond to try to see that I do not return unless I'm coming to speak as an alumni.
Also was happy to see Barry in the morning meetings. Such an insightful guy when it comes to addiction and addressing the clients in a knowledgeable and fun way. Oxford is lucky to have him as well.
I guess I shouldn't expect that a 35 year addiction would go away easily.
But as some people say
"third times the charm" I know much better this time what not to do after leaving. Hope to come back as an experienced speaker. Much love to all

I honestly can’t thank Impact and their entire staff enough! I had no clue what to expect with them being my very first treatment center. I’ve never worked the Steps before and truly believed that I was just meant to live the same miserable life that I’ve been living until my death. They showed me that was far from the truth. I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old.
From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. They teach you everything you need to know in order to live a happy and healthy life without drugs/alcohol, you just have to be willing to not only learn what they teach but also put it all into practice in real life.
Wherever below rock bottom is, I was there for sure before Impact. Adams, Chad, Shaun, Colby, Schwartz, Dikis, Taner, Moody, Sam, Kathleen, and Emily, you are all a Godsend and I thank you for honestly saving my life. I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients.
I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

I have been to Tampa Florida VA and the Atlanta VA, I don't recommend them, but the VA clinic is superb. Customer service is beyond reproach. The staff are friendly, helpful and answered all questions. The facility is expanding and it is well designed, functional with all the amenities you could ask for. I have been in healthcare for over 50 years and I have never seen a clinic that compares. It is superb. I highly recommend this VA clinic.

Great people doing a great job. I have been to two handfuls of rehabs and halfway houses, and this is the best one. Because they are not money hungry vultures.
