I recently has the privilege of having Dr. Beckman take care of some medical issues with my grandmother. She was fantastic and very patient with her, listened to her and ran some test on what she thought her problem could be. She found the problem and give her some meds to clear things up. My grandmother being a administrative RN over 30 years was very happy with Dr. Beckman and her bed-side manner and the way she explained what they would be doing. I’m proud to have a hospital so close to my house that has a team of Doctors and nurses that we have that care about treating people and getting the better. The ER visit may be long or may be short just know if you have to wait the ER is probably packed and they are working as fast as they can to get to everyone. Winfield has a great group in the ER and With Dr. Hajjar on staff they can’t be beat in this part of the country. I appreciated the care and time they took with my elderly grandparent.

A great place with great people.... This program really works if you are truly ready to get control of your life... It will work if you work it. It has saved many lives including mine. Starting this program was the best decision I made. The people who work there genuinely care about the clients and do what they can to help you overcome the disease of addiction.

My friend gave the same bad review almost word for word like this lady. WANNA KNOW WHY? Read until the end to understand WHY SHE SAID IT. FIND OUT what led her to the program. Do you know ANYone with a crazier story?? A lady I've known for 30 yrs literally carried a glow home w/ her! Her journey didnt start off that way. Her mom died while she was n jail She had bn running from warrents. In a moment of clarity, she decided to turn herself in. I was there the last time she wud evr see her mom alive as she came to say bye for jail. Her mom turned 2 me n said" i can die tonight now," She knew with her deep calls to deep knowing, that She released the reigns to HIM!! She wouldnt be the rescue this time for the 1st time. Back to my friend. While she was running, theirs zero stability sleeping n cars w her very violent Methed crazed boyfriend. he used her to get resources from her loved ones thru her. She was now addicted too & so ashamed. She dig her hole deeper with him right inside her ear! She lost custody of her minor child then once news of her moms death came, She wanted death! Not realizing how close meth already had her. She welcomed anything that offered her EXIT doors from that jail..Later, her mind wud clear and truth shined into the darkness that was her life, She explained her earlier days to me. Back to.that EXIT DOOR THEY'D BN EYEING.Her and another Inmate devised a sort of "EXCAPE PLAN" to be released to the usual court appointed REHAB & simply disappear from there BACK ON THE RUN. Only God intervened. Her family found a new REHAB when she was released for RESTORATION RANCH they drove her straight from our state to Alabama. All was well until around 4 or so wks in. She wrote me a diff kind of letter. What her letter said to me, The young lady who wrote her opinion on review of the program calling R.R. "BULL**** & WONT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY" is why I give this review. That bad review stirred my memory back to that different kind of letter my friend wrote me!! It was full of this near exact same wording! Down to Ive tried my best but THIS IS B.S. and I wudnt send anyone here so come get me now! I saw a pattern. Wait ur mom and I "rescued" u from the last rehab too. Lol She sure pulled at all my heart strings. See, Her mom told me something that stuck with me." she had stood in God's way for her childs whole life "even now in late 30s. She said this was the very 1st time she told her child NO. She told me she stood in God's way too long. She gave me a mandate b4 passing. She said make sure everyone knows she never lost faith. Her daughter stayed there and OMG what a powerful life changing experience she had. She speaks nothing but amazing things. It changed her in her core. We.drove together to her graduation. I even saw a famous person graduating along with her. She has shown me many warning signs since then, with my own kids. Later on, I mentioned that one letter she wrote n early days. She was WOWED by how far she had come since participating at this place rightly named RESTORATION Ranch. She told me she.was mad at the process and she was sooo rebellious and wouldve done and said anything to run away again bc thats all she'd ever done. This was her first accomplished thing in life that she saw thru. She just didnt like to follow rules and they gave them a planned out day. She laughed abt the letter later on. If u read this far, May God Bless You and give you the strength to move out of HIS WAY. This is truly putting your child into HIS HANDS

My experience with this facility was it very clean, it's nice that you have your own rooms, the nurses and staff were also very friendly. However, for most of your stay here there is literally nothing to do except sleep in your room and watch tv in the group area :( And even all of the nurses agree that they don't really do anything to actually "help" most people, other than it being essentially a holding tank to help you detox. BUT, believe I did actually get some benefit during my stay. And, believe it or not, it was from having conversations with the other patients who were there during my stay. So, it COULD potentially help you in some capacity, but if you're looking for a place with an actual structured "program" or trained staff that will work with to help you figure out some solutions to whatever it is you may be struggling with, then I would find some place else.

I spent 3 weeks at Bradford Warrior and I got so much out of it. Nice meals 3 times a day plus plenty of snacks, sodas, water, gatorade, and after hours food. The classes and therapy sessions were well thought out and beneficial for my recovery. The staff really wanted the best for me and I made sure I showed up to everything because I can only get out of it what I put into it. I'm over a month sober now and don't even think about alcohol, even when I'm around it. I miss the girls in my cottage and the other cottages. We all became very close and supportive of one another. I'm really glad I decided to do it. I don't regret it one bit.

Honestly, most of my VA experiences have been pretty bad, but the Birmingham VA has never disappointed me. I have to drive two hours to get there but all of my doctors care a lot about me and I feel listened to and I have gotten really good care the entire time that I’ve been there. My normal VA is the Huntsville VA and honestly there’s a lot of people that just don’t care too much because they’re so overrun by veterans that need care. I am glad to drive the two hours just to come to Birmingham because the allergy clinic and the dental clinic have both been lifesavers for me.

This place is so incredible and I don’t even know where to start to describe it. They hit the mark on multiple crucial necessities for a solid recovery such as, therapy, curriculum, facility, staff and food! This is not my first treatment stay but I am so happy that I restarted my recovery Journey at The Extra Mile! Therapy: I had Kim as a therapist and her treatment methods are unparalleled to any prior therapy I have had. The care she provided and the insight she possesses are what I attribute a lot of my progress to. She is kind, caring, passionate, and an expert in the field. I was so grateful that I received her as a therapist however, you can’t go wrong with any of the clinicians there. It’s a well rounded, solid team! They all run groups as well and they all have a lot to offer. Curriculum: the curriculum appeared to be perfectly designed by the hands of something greater than the human species. There is a solid course that walks you through a lot of useful information and tools such as addiction education, relapse prevention, trigger identification, and information on the brain, how it works, and the results of addiction in the brain. It helped to gain a deeper understanding of why my brain acts the way it does and the effects of trauma on the brain. The owner even came and ran some groups occasionally and the man knows his stuff. It was nice to see him so invested in the program and the clients there. On top of all of that useful information you also get a lot of information, support, and resources to work a solid 12 step program while you are there. They also take you to outside meetings 4 times a week. Thanks to all the work I put in with some great support I walked out of there feeling pretty free and connected which was unlike I felt being sober for 4 years prior. I’m sitting at the airport right now without a temptation in sight! Facility: the facility is in a rural part of town and being from Austin it was a culture shock at first but was so breathtaking after I got acclimated. Waking up every morning to meditate while simultaneously being surrounded by beautiful trees and the sounds of nature was superb and it was a nice break away from the noisy city. Some recreational activities provided are pickle ball, sand volleyball, basketball, well equipped gym, and some good ol’ fishing! I don’t fish but a lot of the guys there enjoyed it. They also take you off campus for a lake day on the weekends! They pack a bunch a food and we would hang out there for a few hours. The housing is a collection of cabins and they are quaint and comfortable. The beds are supportive and I had no trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. The facility was clean and well laid out. Staff: the staff here is awesome! They are all in recovery and they all truly care. They were attentive, caring, respectful and inspirational. From the moment I reached out to Chase in admissions I felt cared for. It’s immediately apparent that they work there because they have a passion for helping people. Chad picked me up from the airport and we chatted the entire two hours from the Memphis airport. It was a relief after ruminating on some pretty deep feelings of hopelessness and fear. The CA’s made me feel immediately welcomed and were always friendly and helpful. They all deserve their flowers! I play guitar, specifically electric guitar, so one of the CA’s brought his electric guitar and left it for me to play a majority of my time there. Food: The food is SOOOOO GOOD! The chef, Shane, knows what he is doing and is a fantastic cook. They also provide tons of food to snack on after meal hours. Make sure to ask for his lasagna and tell him I sent you! ;) If you made it to the end, you are probably researching or inebriated and if you are either STOP and just get to The Mile! Trust them to handle the rest. It’s worth it, I pinky promise. You deserve a life of happiness and it can be achieved at The Mile. I have never felt as renewed and spiritually connected as I do now. I love this place so much and I will forever cherish my time there.

I honestly can’t thank Impact and their entire staff enough! I had no clue what to expect with them being my very first treatment center. I’ve never worked the Steps before and truly believed that I was just meant to live the same miserable life that I’ve been living until my death. They showed me that was far from the truth. I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old. From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. They teach you everything you need to know in order to live a happy and healthy life without drugs/alcohol, you just have to be willing to not only learn what they teach but also put it all into practice in real life. Wherever below rock bottom is, I was there for sure before Impact. Adams, Chad, Shaun, Colby, Schwartz, Dikis, Taner, Moody, Sam, Kathleen, and Emily, you are all a Godsend and I thank you for honestly saving my life. Keep doing the amazing work that you all have been doing, and if anyone reading this is willing and able to become part of the Impact family I say do it. Don’t hesitate and take that first step towards true recovery <3

I wanted to take my own life before coming to Impact. I felt completely and utterly hopeless. I was pitifully and incomprehensibly demoralized, plagued by regret, and crushed by the weight of the unmanageable life I was leading. I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients. I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

I was impressed with Mekiah (hopefully I got the spelling right). She answered all off my questions professionally and was a customer service pro. I worked in customer service for over a decade, so it's is very hard to get a 5 star review from me. She is wonderful and I hope she gets a raise!
