I graduated from here in 2013 and anytime I am working with someone who needs rehab I always think of Freedom House. I believe in the work they did there. I got to know Jesus here even though it is not a faith based program. The people who worked there then were doing it right. My dream is to someday have my own inpatient recovery center and I will incorporate many of the same practices that they did. I will always be grateful for this place. I hope it never changed from what it was then.

I tried everything... LITERALLY EVERYTHING! I now have 5 months sober, have a stable full time job, and custody of both my children back. It definitely takes doing the work on yourself as well but methadone is a great support medication while getting through these things. Life couldn't be better. Joe, on third shift, he's a big, old, burly guy, but he's really good at his job. He made my visit there. Very good, I had a major surgery.And the one night that I stayed there, he came to my Room 15 times always with a smile, always ready to help me. I couldn't ask for no one better. Rhonda was another reason.She made my stay very pleasant. I believe my nurse name, what's Beverly.She also was very good at her job. I guess to sum it up the staff at Crestwood medical center. I really appreciate everything they did for me.And I feel overall, it was a good experience. One more thing, the food was good. Wellstone is not some eutopia were they have a magic want that can cure the issues that you have n I certainly cannot speak for other people's experience. Iam impressed by her.she is positive ,for me that is plus . when u leave her office you are smiling not crying .she know how to help her clients and trys find solutions .she listens to you ,and she understands, so you can work through whatever you are going threw .I wish everyone could get help I am receiving we all struggle mental health issues why we come here hoping get coping skills deal with whatever we are going threw.I hoping more new therapist we come here be as caring knowledgeable as my therapist .I have seen another therapist took classes had special training for help deal with ptsd ,claustrophobia she help me couldn t go in a elevator now I can . though she was good too. When I first entered this program, I could never imagine my life with out drugs. I an so grateful that I reluctantly entered this program because it changed my life for them better. I spent Thanksgiving & Christmas there and I felt so loved. I've had a great experience with Ms. NeQuaisha Bland as my therapist. Her approach is both engaging and supportive, making therapy sessions feel comfortable and positive. She always incorporates calming exercises that help me manage stress and anxiety, which I find really useful in my daily life. I appreciate how she takes the time to explain techniques that promote relaxation and mental well-being. Best VA clinic around has been my experience. I know from time to time the phone doesnt get answered but you will see that anywhere. My health care at this facility gets a 5 STAR PLUS ratings. Receptionists do their job so not being overly friendly does not come into play. The nurse for Dr. Thompson is spot on, friendly, and never fails to ask how I am feeling. Dr. Thompson never rushes through my appointment. He tells me whats going on with me,and then asks If I have any questions or concerns. I am well taken care of.
