It's difficult & rewarding all at the same time.
I attended for 6 months & graduated in 2001.
It's filled with lessons of humility & hard work. I was blessed to be the cook for these amazing women.
I can't communicate in words how this place held me with love during the most difficult period of my life.

I graduated from here in 2013 and anytime I am working with someone who needs rehab I always think of Freedom House. I believe in the work they did there. I got to know Jesus here even though it is not a faith based program. The people who worked there then were doing it right. My dream is to someday have my own inpatient recovery center and I will incorporate many of the same practices that they did. I will always be grateful for this place. I hope it never changed from what it was then.
I have a friend that is a patient here and he and I say the staff if Absolutely wonderful they are so caring, as long as I can make it here I will, Family life has Changed my life ❤️.

I've been trying to get someone I felt comfortable enough to talk to because of being judged or frankly we all live in the small community, I was lucky, I was blessed with a Smart,caring and no judgement/ truly what her career is meant to be. The only thing that I was blown away with, I have tried therapy before and time after time I couldn't get it, I see from my point of view yes antidepressants are something that helps but hand ✋ in hand ✋ if there's just one person who is like me very anxious don't know why, think u may have a heart attack then please post back because I was shamed by a Dr there because I told him I needed help,@51 menopause and life I was shamed.. I can't hardly go somewhere and this dread blanket's me.. to my therapist thank you,--- But they should never listen to anything outside of you because other people sometimes are meddling in ur life and//part of THE PROBLEM....

I love coming here. They have really helped me with my problems that I've been having for a while now. Only thing I would change is being able to see the therapist more than just once a month. I've got memory problems and it's hard to remember what's happened in a months time.

This place is quite literally responsible for saving my life. I had to do some work too but with the help of Bradford it made it sooo much easier and comfortable. I would recommend Bradford 10 out of 10 times, the people there really care and will help you provided you give them the chance! Thank you Bradford!

The nursing staff and bhts are amazing. They make sure your comfortable and they help in every way they can. The facility is clean and well kept. They take your need for sobriety seriously. Most of the employees want your sobriety more then you do. They give tough love but are also compassionate. The food is amazing and I promise you will put on 10 to 20 pounds be4 to you leave. The classes are educational and intriguing. Recreational time is also fun and just for a couple hours you forget your in a rehab.

Bradford at Madisonis a wonderful place to get yourself back.on track.The employees are very accomodating and friendly.

BHG is a great place to get the help needed to control your addiction. Addictions can't be cured but if you are ready to get off of whatever you are on then BHG is the place for you. The people that work there are the best and the program works if you work it.
I went here for years and I have lived all of my counselors and staff. Terry is wonderful and dr. Atchley is great as well. He had another great doctor join him as well I believe its been a year or so since ive been. Either way this place is wonderful and saved my life over and over again.

Terry is the best person to run the place, Margaret was amazing to me and only had one counselor that I feel shouldn’t be there, but it happens, so we get up and go for treatment that saves our lives! Dr. At Haley is compassionate and cares about the patients.

This is the only clinic I've been to that seems to care about their patients all the way through-- the doctors, the therapists, and the front desk always are extremely courteous and considerate. Concerns you voice are taken seriously, and your input is considered regarding your own treatment. I don't want to name any one person, because legitimately, everyone here has been extremely good to me. I'd recommend them.

I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients.
I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

I was impressed with Mekiah (hopefully I got the spelling right). She answered all off my questions professionally and was a customer service pro. I worked in customer service for over a decade, so it's is very hard to get a 5 star review from me. She is wonderful and I hope she gets a raise!

I stopped a 20 year addiction to cocaine and alcohol in November, 2024. After my treatment I was released to Bradford Health Services for "intensive outpatient" classes. Allison Neal and Melissa Wisdom are 2 employees at this facility. I have to say that they show more care and gave more help to me, than anyone in my entire recovery. They truly blessed my walk. And if it wasn't for them, I would have relapsed a couple of times. They need their praise.

I have been to Tampa Florida VA and the Atlanta VA, I don't recommend them, but the VA clinic is superb. Customer service is beyond reproach. The staff are friendly, helpful and answered all questions. The facility is expanding and it is well designed, functional with all the amenities you could ask for. I have been in healthcare for over 50 years and I have never seen a clinic that compares. It is superb. I highly recommend this VA clinic.

I reached a really low point in my life and realized that I desperately needed help. Decided to come here and I was determined to really work the program. Of course, it's not easy but thankfully I received the help of some great people.

A great place with great people.... This program really works if you are truly ready to get control of your life... It will work if you work it. It has saved many lives including mine. Starting this program was the best decision I made. The people who work there genuinely care about the clients and do what they can to help you overcome the disease of addiction.
Hands down the best treatment I have ever received, God bless BHG and staff 🙏 they were patient with me while I got my insurance payments up to date and have always treated me with dignity and respect I thank God I found them 🙏

So much better since it’s been taken over the only issue I have is that I’ve gotten close to my counselor and everytime I have to tell my whole life story because they leave and they don’t say why but I know there’s a common cause. I’ve had four in the last 7 months and my most recent one just left.

It was always nice place under the elderly couple that used to run it. It's changed into a very cold and distant place lately. Institutionalizing something seems to do that.
Yeah tbh I have no idea why so many negative reviews, I love my therapist and psychiatrist really cool ppl. I’m starting to think a lot of these reviews come from the mental clinic owned by wellstone. The actual wellstone in Cullman has very nice staff and ppl maybe some ppl are delusional asl and is just spreading hate. Just know you guys do amazing work!

Wellstone is not some eutopia were they have a magic want that can cure the issues that you have n I certainly cannot speak for other people's experience. I came to them in the throws of years of untreated mental health and severe drug addiction and while they offered no magic fix. What they gave me was love,support,belief and a path forward. I had to do the work but they gave me the tools that set me up for success. The leaders, counselor and staff have never done anything but support me. They work tireslessy at a job that is far from glamorous. If you are reading this and you face a crossroads of your life and you don't know we're to start. I recommend them with every ounce of my heart. The IOP program is so beautiful and it matters not what baggage you bring. You will be greeted with empathy and without Judgement. I love every therapist ,physician and peer support counselor that I have had. They never gave up on me n what they gave me litterally saved my life and had it not been for them. I would not be here today. Today is the day to start your recovery. 5 million stars

A lady I've known for 30 yrs literally carried a glow home w/ her! Her journey didnt start off that way. Her mom died while she was n jail She had bn running from warrents. In a moment of clarity, she decided to turn herself in. I was there the last time she wud evr see her mom alive as she came to say bye for jail. Her mom turned 2 me n said" i can die tonight now," She knew with her deep calls to deep knowing, that She released the reigns to HIM!! She wouldnt be the rescue this time for the 1st time. Back to my friend. While she was running,
theirs zero stability sleeping n cars w her very violent Methed crazed boyfriend. he used her to get resources from her loved ones thru her. She was now addicted too & so ashamed. She dig her hole deeper with him right inside her ear! She lost custody of her minor child then once news of her moms death came, She wanted death! Not realizing how close meth already had her. She welcomed anything that offered her EXIT doors from that jail..Later, her mind wud clear and truth shined into the darkness that was her life, She explained her earlier days to me. Back to.that EXIT DOOR THEY'D BN EYEING.Her and another Inmate devised a sort of "EXCAPE PLAN" to be released to the usual court appointed REHAB & simply disappear from there BACK ON THE RUN. Only God intervened. Her family found a new REHAB when she was released for RESTORATION RANCH they drove her straight from our state to Alabama. All was well until
around 4 or so wks in. She wrote me a diff kind of letter. What her letter said to me, The young lady who wrote her opinion on review of the program calling R.R. "BULL**** & WONT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY" is why I give this review. That bad review stirred my memory back to that different kind of letter my friend wrote me!! It was full of this near exact same wording!

Ive tried my best but THIS IS B.S. and I wudnt send anyone here so come get me now! I saw a pattern. Wait ur mom and I "rescued" u from the last rehab too. Lol She sure pulled at all my heart strings. See, Her mom told me something that stuck with me." she had stood in God's way for her childs whole life "even now in late 30s. She said this was the very 1st time she told her child NO. She told me she stood in God's way too long. She gave me a mandate b4 passing. She said make sure everyone knows she never lost faith. Her daughter stayed there and OMG what a powerful life changing experience she had. She speaks nothing but amazing things. It changed her in her core. We.drove together to her graduation. I even saw a famous person graduating along with her.
She has shown me many warning signs since then, with my own kids. Later on, I mentioned that one letter she wrote n early days. She was WOWED by how far she had come since participating at this place rightly named RESTORATION Ranch. She told me she.was mad at the process and she was sooo rebellious and wouldve done and said anything to run away again bc thats all she'd ever done. This was her first accomplished thing in life that she saw thru. She just didnt like to follow rules and they gave them a planned out day. She laughed abt the letter later on. If u read this far, May God Bless You and give you the strength to move out of HIS WAY. This is truly putting your child into HIS HANDS

Hi! I was a patient here in the children's unit. the staff are so sweet and kind and I really enjoy all of them. I recommend this place for young teens such as myself and many others. no clue how the adult unit is, but, yes, the children's unit is immaculate and I was happy with all of my visits:) mr. darrell(?) and ms. mary are my favorite staff members and theyre rlly sweet
also they called me by my preferred name which made me really happy and they do genuinely care about their clients.
