I didn't have to wait too long to be admitted into a private area for treatment. Do you attending nurse was very informative and knowledgeable about his duties and although I expressed irritation at waiting for a length of time for treatment, he explained that there were problems with the x-ray equipment and offered some medication for pain relief which I was very grateful for. There were no unnecessary test or lab work given and everyone who worked there from the security to the medical staff were very polite, courteous, and helpful in every areas of the questions I asked. After he came home he was able to participate in ongoing alumni support calls, and was doing well until recently when due to a couple of traumatic events in his life he fell back into old coping skills. I reached back out to Stonewater and received help in finding a great place for him to return to recovery, now as an adult, and Stonewater has continued to work with the staff at the new facility to make his care as seamless as possible. Even his counselor - whom he says is the best counselor he ever had - reached out to me by email immediately and is working with his new counselor and with him as he moves forward. Stonewater is an amazing place with amazing people who see their job as a mission. Do not hesitate to let them treat your son and trust them in the process! Our backstory, Kaleb was 14 years old and on a path of destruction which ultimately landed him in juvenile detention. When facing the judge we pleaded with him to give him yet another chance, but this time was to be sent to Stonewater.
