I am new to the area, and was driving by, so I just pulled in. I was greated warmly and had the best service I have ever gotten in a va facility. I made sure I was set for here and actually got to be seen in 30 minutes. The doc and nurses were really interested in helping. The lab tech was super! I got appointments for further care. I have family members that have been there and the staff were very kind and always helpful. The nurse practitioner is Very kind and patient evaluating every possibility to help someone the best way they can. Like most places they probably get super busy or behind at times, but that came with Changes with Covid. I see the results of Region8 patients almost on a daily basis. Anything from depression, anxiety, alcoholism,, bipolar, schizophrenia, and more mental health issues for adults and children than I could ever list. Thank you, Region8 and all of your staff for your presence in our community. I greatly appreciate everything you’ve done for everybody. I’ve known that’s been there as well as helping those that I do not know.

Actually facilities was extremely clean n comfortable spacious kinda. You do have to share room n bathroom with 1 to 3 other clients. Facility extremely good at what they do. Food was fantastic. At times u feel like there should be more to do but in the end sobering up n dealing with issues u will be grateful for the rest. I would recommend this facility to others the staff helped me n cared about me I’ll never forget them. Not 5 star only cause limited smoke breaks! They hold your smokes and there are 9 allotted smoke breaks a day. Issues with getting more when u ran out even tho u had money with u n they could go to the store for shampoo for u but refused to purchase smokes n u would get punished if caught sharing

The Best place to go if you are truly ready to be where your purpose is in life and being that way without drugs in your life or whatever you may need help with that is preventing you to be who you are suppose to be . DW helped transformed me into where I am today..I personally had a spiritual awakening on Dec 17th , 2025. I on my own free will admitted myself with the help of my support team to DW on Jan. 10th, 2026. The therapist at BTR are very professional and personal. They are helping me to understand and further develop the skills I need in my recovery. My stay at Pine Grove was as close to perfect as a facility can get. My nurses were all very caring, attentive, and helpful. It is because of my night nurse that I made it through my first night and continued with the program. I arrived in a state of panic that I’ve lived with for the last 5-6 years, and by day three I was feeling like a normal human again. My psychiatrist, Dr. Bossi, is absolutely wonderful. I was recently in the Gratitude program and can confidently say that it saved my life. I came in hopeless and discouraged with recovery and left with more hope for the future than I thought was possible. I was impressed from the beginning when they gave me a set of workbooks on sex addiction upon arrival. The nature of the program being tailored to sex addiction made it a million times more powerful and effective than either of the dual diagnosis or general addiction treatment programs I'd gone to before. I really appreciated how structured and rigorous it was as the weekly projects and assignments allowed me to go much deeper than I would have been able to without them. The therapists are all phenomenal and are true professionals at what they're doing. Even the interns/externs I worked with were amazing. On top of everything, insurance covered all 75 days I was there. I will be forever grateful for my time at Pine Grove.

We typically don't remember what people say or do most of the time … but WE WILL REMEMBER how someone makes US FEEL. Townsend has made feel nothing BUT welcomed and loved. I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to start and finish my recovery there. The staff is not just staff, this place provided a family I never had. They welcome you with open arms. Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. I have friends who work here, and I’ve seen firsthand how much they genuinely care about the veterans they serve. Many of the doctors, nurses, and support staff go above and beyond every day, often under challenging circumstances, to make sure veterans are treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. I attended Harbor House in Jackson in 2014. Pam Moore was my counselor. I am still clean today. It took me 5 rehabs until I was ready. I came to the area and spent the whole summer. I had to make a special call to give a personal "Thank You" to Executive Director, Dedria D. Black for her wonderful staff at the Harbor House Chemical Dependency Center in Jackson Mississippi. The staff there are Professionals, Supportive, Compassionate, Caring etc. Their treatment philosophy goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the very best care for their recovery. Whenever I would call they gave me updates on my family member and their recovery. I've had over 40 years experience managing and working hands on in customer service. Finding the perfect team isn't easy but they've managed to do just that at the Harbor House. I would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Mission Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, Intake Coordinator, Mrs. Kayla, Nurse Manager, Mrs. Morenik and Counselor, Mrs. Kim Curtis for going above and beyond.
