Can’t say enough good things about Compass in general, but what made me write this review specifically is one of your psychologists, Cody Bond. As someone who’s seen multiple therapists and psychologists over the course of the last 10 years, Cody is the most notable one I’ve ever had and I’m so thankful for him and everything he’s done for me. Cody’s not just a great psychologist, but a great person in general and he’s never once made me feel dismissed or unheard. I’ve never cried like I lost a family member over losing my psychologist/therapist like I have today. I’m so happy for Cody and his future endeavors but I’m so sad that I’m losing him. Compass has a good one in Cody Bond and I’m so happy to see Compass recognizing him for what he does. He definitely deserves this. Cody, if you see this, thank you so much and have a wonderful life!!! 🤗

He also helped me become much more comfortable there as I had never been to a mental health facility before. Overall I would say Heartland is a place I would prefer to go back to if I need help again.

My child went here and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. It was a lengthy stay and everyone here was wonderful. As a parent it’s so hard to look at the negative reviews on all these facilities and not know what to believe. This place was recommended to me by a sheriff whose foster child stayed here. He said it was life changing for her in a positive way and I’m so glad we listened to him. We’ve had our child at different facilities and they were not good experiences.

If you've come across this, It's probably fair to say, Life hasn't been a walk in the park lately, And you're looking at possible options to get help. You might be asking yourself, Is MAT right for me? I always tell people, If you have tried other programs, And treatments that have not worked for you, Then MAT is probably for you. The great thing is, BHG has an amazing staff, From Doctors, Nurses, And counselors, That can talk with you, Answer all of your questions, So you can make an informed decision. If you feel this is a good fit for you, The staff are there to help you navigate through the process, And get you on the road to recovery. I love that they make you a part of the game plan, While creating a treatment plan designed to fit each person's specific needs. At this point, You're probably just desperate to have some normalcy back in your life, And probably struggle to remember what life was like "Before". If you've read this, Please do yourself a favor, And pick up the phone and call them, It may be the most important call you ever make, Help is available!!
Nobody is going to judge you, Or look down on you, The entire staff is there to help! I love my counselor, And he's available to me any time I need, Not just during normal buisness hours. Everyone I've encountered here, Are there because they care, It's not just a paycheck to them. No matter what you decide to do, Or avenue you choose to take, I wish you all the best in your journey. Just know they're here if you need, And the staff truly care, And want to help you get better! Recovery is possible!!

My experience with Lafayette house-never spoke to family about her addiction, family were turned into enemies. She was given a cell phone, she got a free bus ticket back to the drug infested place her family pulled her out of. I believe for their original mission they are great. Addicts do not need free access to legal advice. They need intense therapy. They need to have their family in every part of therapy and it needs to be longer than a month.
They put her on outpatient early, then helped her distance herself from people who cared.
Terrible place for addicts and their families.

This place needs to be shutdown! It's appealing to the eye, however, they have no activities or groups at all! They sit at their desk and talk about everyone. They aren't domestic abuse advocates at all! They are condescending, belittling, and choose to attempt to humiliate you. The only thing that they did was do room searches several times a day. And when gone to appointments or eating they search without consent and remove items.
They love to kick out several women for ridiculous and false accusations. This area is a very dangerous area for drugs and human trafficking and have kicked out many with no place to go and they don't care.
Case management gives resources for you to call. Took two weeks to see one. And when you leave most of your stuff will not be located. We've been through enough trauma to let this poor excuse for safe haven. Should be a place of healing and empowerment! Not a place treating us like criminals! DO NOT choose this place they're in it for the money and have several complaints and have been reported. They should be shut down. They also stole my mail. Abusive and unprofessional. A completely disgusting attitude towards survivors.

This isn't the company to go to if you honestly wish to progressively get better. They wish you to stay complacent in your instability.
They are not looking to make you worse by any means. However, they are a consistent roadblock to climbing higher in skills, ability, and bettering oneself. Skills taught and treatment are continuously as inconsistent as their ccrs workers! I would suggest seeking treatment elsewhere.
