SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Wentzville is a hospital-based addiction treatment provider in Wentzvill | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I can’t say enough about our visit today with our nephew. I went to SSM for an accidental overdose for 2 weeks on my ADHD stimulants. The following day my symptoms worsened and I called SSM and they informed me that they did not have a Psychiatrist on staff and I was therefore sent to BJC in Wentzville. Thank God!! Everything about this hospital far exceeded my expectations!! When I got there, I was the only person waiting to be seen! The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and even though he was just trying to get a little basic info., he let me rattle on all my symptoms without interrupting me. After a long period of excessive talking, he gently told me that I could talk about all of this with the Psychiatrist, which put me at ease! I was walked back to a private room which has never happened to me and I have been to many hospitals. I didn’t have to go through triage and my vitals were taken in my room by a super caring lady! The security guard came in and he could not have been any nicer!! He told me everything to expect and went through my bags and sent everything out to the car with my husband except my coat and shoes. He indicated that I could not have my med. Box with me which did scare me because historically I have not been given my meds. Until after seeing the doctor and the pharmacist. He could tell I was nervous and requested that the nurse update me on this procedure. She immediately came in and told me that she had my medication list and I would receive all of my meds. On-time. The doctor came to see me within 30 min. And was the nicest and most informative doctor that I have ever had and spent 30 min. With me giving me all the medical recommendations he had as I also had a severe viral infection causing sores all over my mouth, severe body aches, bruises all over my body, including under my eye. I told him what the 1st hospital had recommended I do, and he informed to stop all of it and that it would only irritate my infection, especially all the over-the-counter items I was using. He spoke with the Psychiatrist and came back to see me again after getting the Psychiatrists course of action, and spent another 30 min. With me extensively answering all of my questions. This was rare because I had a lot and at most hospitals you are lucky to get 10-15 questions with the doctor. The nurse was also very helpful getting me an extra pillow and 4 cups of ice chips because it was was the only thing easing the pain in my mouth. I was quickly discharged feeling like my husband, who stayed with me the whole time, and I could manage my treatment plan!! The best hospital I have ever been to and will never go anywhere else, as well as referring anyone I know with a medical or mental health crisis!!!

Chesterfield, MO | The Crossroads Program is a community based outpatient addiction treatment provider serving Columbia, Missouri and the surrounding region. The program treats alcohol and drug use disorders through counseling and educational workshops with added support for gambling addiction and DUI/DWI related needs. Their approach centers on treatment planning th | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve seen a lot of negative and positive reviews of crossroads. I was a patient there for a couple years a long time ago. Around 2003 or so. I relapsed a lot unfortunately. That’s part of my story I guess. All I can say is my best friends to this day, my best man in my wedding, the guys that still call me to this day, weekly we’re all crossroads graduates. I’m not scared one bit to say I went there. What it did for me is plant the seed. Gave me hope. Taught to actually laugh again, I did learn tools. At the time I didn’t use them to well. That’s okay. I do now. A lot. I often think of time there and wish man, I freaking miss it. We had an absolute blast. People told me they love me. Those same people to this day still express that to me. So no, I wasn’t traumatized. I wasn’t in a cult. I was trying to save my life. Literally. Looking at where I am now. I’d say it worked. I’d definitely send my kid there if needed. I mean hell, in my blood line it’s always there 😇😂😉. I’m grateful for it. Always.

After a harrowing experience with our son, we were referred to Crossroads where we found answers, support and community.
Over the past year, the road to recovery hasn’t always been easy. Addiction infects the entire family and we’ve all needed help healing. Crossroads has provided that healing with support groups and education from experts in the area.
Together we are putting our life back together and I am forever grateful that they literally answered the call, dropped everything and met us in our hour of need. That doesn’t happen, anywhere else, ever.
Crossroads isn’t for everyone, they know this and I have experienced them help other families with direction and referrals if the issue is outside of their scope. Responsible and responsive - THAT’S the mental healthcare our city so desperately needs.
It’s what we all want for our children

The Crossroads Program saved my son and my family. We were desperate to find a program that would help our teenage son. When I first placed the call to the director, she invited us to a parent meeting. Immediately, we were welcomed by other families in the same situation. Once our son started the program, the counselors were so supportive and in communication with us, the parents, every step of the way. The fellowship of the kids, holding each other accountable, and the focus on sobriety in every aspect of the program has been the foundation that has allowed my son to have over a year sober. The kids have support, the parents have support, and together the community takes care of each other. I highly recommend The Crossroads Program for any family and their children looking for help to navigate the disease of addiction.

Union, MO | Their outpatient care consists of meetings with trained counselors and case workers. There’s a wide range of approaches to choose from, including psychiatry, bioneural feedback, and transcranial magnetic stimulation for seizures and hallucinations. Meds are available if you need help with withdrawals and cravings. Peer support and group counselin | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have been seeing Dr. Glick for approximately 2 and 1/2 years now and I seen him before too . He is an amazing doctor, is sincere, great bedside manners. He's a very caring doctor and even though he sees a lot of patience because he not only has his clinical hours but he also dedicates time to people in recovery. He is a very dedicated and passionate doctor. Who you can tell was what he does and cares about the people he treats. He always remembers his patience and does a really good job remembering what you tell him. Even if it's about things happening in your life. He goes above and beyond to care for his patients. The nursing staff that works alongside him. They are also very courteous, kind and caring. The young lady who does The scheduling for x-rays, MRI stuff like that and also looks for specialist for patients that need it. She is also very kind and sweet and goes above and beyond get you in in for whether it's just a simple x-ray all the way up to a specialist. She doesn't just get you the information to contact them. She doesn't just make you an appointment with somebody. She calls you after she finds someone and ask you if that's okay if it'll work for you and then ask you if you want the information to make the appointment or she can do it for you and as many patients as Dr. Glicks's sees I'm sure there's quite a few that need an x-ray or something so she is just as busy but still takes the time out with each patient to make sure that what they need is taken care of. So to me she also goes above and beyond to help. His nurse's even though it's not their job to schedule you an appointment under certain circumstances they will help and schedule you an appointment back, especially. If it's a short notice appointment and you are already a patient there. If you're not a patient at compass health with Dr. Glick It takes about 30 days to get your first appointment, but it is well worth the wait. If you a good doctor who loves his job cares for his patients, then the 30-day wait is nothing. If you need a recovery doctor he is amazing there too. He really cares a lot about your recovery and wants to see you succeed and will help get you to where you need to be. He's not judgmental nor is his staff of nurses or or any other person that works in the office. Whatever their job may be, you don't feel judged. They have a portal for patients so once you become a patient you are able to access the patient portal. Leave a message for the doctor or the nurse, whichever you may need to leave at for , even the scheduler does all the like I said scheduling for x-rays and imaging services, etc. You leave a message and they'll get back to you as soon as they can. It normally never takes more than a couple days. Even if you live in St. Louis, rather it's the city or the county the compass health he is at is in Union Missouri but it is worth it for the drive. If you're on Medicaid they will. If you call transportation get you there with transportation. I would say always tell them if your appointment's at 10:00 a.m. Tell them 9:45 9:50 because they're sometimes getting there late. Another good thing about him is if you're your late as long as you're not habitually late every appointment you tell the receptionist to get his nurse. He will still see you. So don't not go and if you have an appointment behind because the odds are you're still going to get seen. Especially coming along the ways and having to use medical transportation. They understand that compass health Union Missouri is a great place. I haven't been to their dentist our mental health there, but the staff I've seen for both have all been very respectful. Polite and helpful with the people seeing them I've took someone to The compass health wentzville from what I have seen and I've never seen the doctors or anything there. I just took and in-law there for mental health and the staff that I did see were helpful in courteous. I don't know about the actors. But I do highly recommend compass health Union Missouri.

Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left.
