I haven't had very good luck with LSS. We were ordered to use a parent coordinator by the judge. The PC gets lost in the e-mails and NEVER makes a decision on the subject at hand. The e-mails continue to roll back and forth between parties with maybe a response or two a week, simply reiterating what the argument's about. No decisions, just a summary of what the email thread is about.

This place is an extension of dhs iowa. If you want your children taken then go here. If you attend sessions get a receipt or any kind of documents that prove you went. They are holding my completion paperwork hostage after 8 sessions completed when only 5 was needed. Lady I was seeing left and they say she cant sign off on it now. The mental health side is just as bad. This is a profit grab facility abusing iowa medicaid. Expensive, non communicative staff with people who dont listen to what your saying. Dont go here they are horrible.

Amazing place for long term treatment, caring and passionate residential managers. The staff at the pmc house are awesome, it’s a very positive environment for the mother and child to grow and learn together. Third time taking my daughter, Grand Island High School gave me a choice jail or Richard Young. I asked how are they going to help her doc sees her every morning group/ individual therapy. How we they know if the meds are working, they are looking for side affects. So all the do is give her different meds to see what works ask are you gonna hurt yourself or other and then discharge her. But what really can they do in a 3 to 5 days.

As a trans man it can be kind of distressing to go to hospitals. I've heard many stories online about people like me being disrespected, but I had none of that during my surgery. Staff are even allowed small forms of self expression, and seeing a pride themed badge clip meant the world and made me feel at ease. Past that, the staff were very cordial, answered all my questions, got me a bendy straw so I could share a drink with my partner, some even voiced support for my identity. Those who didn't, or maybe who had opposing views, didn't seem to show it and treated me with upmost respect. I never had the feeling that I was unsafe in any way, and the whole experience leaves me with happy tears with how volatile today's environment can be for trans people, sometimes especially in the Midwest.
The hospital was very clean, I actively saw custodians cleaning unoccupied rooms as well, no issues with anesthesia either. A surgery that was projected to take 1.5 to 2 hours only took one hour and they explained the results very well to my partner. Based on the sounds of it, I think my deviated septum is fully cured and I'll be able to breathe as long as recovery goes well.
Billing also explained that I could either oay up front today, or wait for the statement and get some taken off for paying it all in one shot if I call the number and asked billing. Estimated prices were given to me up front and they confirmed with me that insurance was active when I asked.
Just make sure to get as detailed instructions written down as possible so you're not anxious like I was trying to find where you're supposed to be :]
