I can’t say enough about how incredible The Plymouth House is. I spent 6 days in detox and 24 days in the Residential program, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation I had. Having a full detox program with real clinicians on site was a game changer for me. The staff paid close attention to each guest’s needs, mine included, and that level of care truly made all the difference. From leadership to support staff, everyone was approachable, supportive, and fully present. They always made time when I needed it, which meant a lot during such a tough chapter of my life. The team approach, Case Management, a Therapist, and a 12-Step resource dedicated specifically to me had a huge impact. Their focus on the Little Big Book really grounded the whole program and helped me find direction again. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious, and the food… unbelievable. Every meal felt thoughtful and genuinely nourishing. Today I’m 50 days sober, with a sponsor and a renewed sense of control and hope. My life is becoming manageable again thanks to The Plymouth House. I am truly grateful for what this place gave me. I HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone seeking help—whether it’s your first time or not. If you’re willing to make a change, The Plymouth House will absolutely change your life.

I attended NFA 5 years ago. It was my first time getting sober at 22 years old. NFA is where I started my journey. Although I cant speak to how the facility is now, I can speak to what it once way. My case manager Andy was very helpful and he heard me out. The facility itself was very basic, lots of meetings, enough free time for smoke breaks and basketball. The food was pretty good from what I remember. I will say there was a lot of medication, (sometimes meds that I feel like we didn't need but was given anyways). I was in inpatient for 2 weeks and the last two weeks was a house off property where we got phone access and got to make our own meals, which was a great transition. Overall, I would say that my experience was pretty good. I am still sober today...5 years later. I think that to be successful in staying sober you need aftercare, no one stays sober after 30-45 days of inpatient. A sober house afterwards is a necessity. Hope this helps!

NFA quite literally saved my life. I was overdosed and barely breathing. I was consumed by addiction until they took me in and taught me I was worth it and that it was possible to live sober.

After the suicide of a close friend, my young adult son was really struggling. We look into several campus style treatment facility options and Canterbury was the most responsive to our inquiries. They were able to get him in quickly and delivered everything they promised. He is doing well now and credits his time in Canterbury with a lot of his success. We would highly recommend this treatment facility to anyone struggling with their mental health.

I can’t say enough good things about RBH!! I showed up in October 2016 spiritual bankrupt Not happy to be there. Slowly but surely the staff and camaraderie between the residence help show me a a whole new way of life. Helped show me a new way of thinking an a whole new way of looking at the world. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I still have a lot solid friendships thanks to RBH and I love seeing the guys around town and at meetings. Lotta good memories!! Riverbank house definitely helped push my life in a positive direction and I’ll ever be grateful.

I recently visited Recovery Mountain and was blown away by the facility. They’ve created such an amazing environment to recover in. The rooms don’t feel clinical at all. If you are ready to get sober, this place is ready for you! It is five stars everyday! I left Recovery Mountain with a personal recovery plan and a new outlook on life. First, the staff are incredible; each BHA bringing their own unique, no bull-shit personality to the recovery curricula. The nursing staff are very caring and accessible. The chef was understanding about any food requirements, and the facility is everything others have written. The clinical director is highly skilled and direct. The only question you should ask is, "are you ready to climb Recovery Mountain?".

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review – Life-Changing Experience I was referred to the Sobriety Center of New Hampshire by my union assistance coordinator Jeff smith, I called late afternoon I didn't even think he'd respond till the next day, I was wrong first connected me to Andrew Wilson at Portland Treatment. Andrew then put me in touch with Amanda who is a sweetheart by the way, very serious about helping people she got me admitted.— and I can honestly say, this place changed my life. This is not your average rehab. The facility is top-tier luxury, with beautifully designed rooms, an immaculate kitchen, and amenities that blew me away — including an indoor soccer field, basketball court, full-size baseball area, and even a full military-style obstacle course upstairs. It felt more like a wellness retreat than a treatment center, but make no mistake: the recovery work here is real. A special shoutout goes to **Kevin he is the one that goes above and beyond he makes it look easy he did everything I asked him and more he even took my call from jail which is crazy I've never thought anyone would do that He's overworked and then the paid he deserves it a company then and his own office in a name plaque this is greatness works here.

I love this hospital. No seriously. My husband and I both have serious chronic illnesses, and have to use their services far more often than anyone should ever have to. Every person, from the custodians, secrrtaries, CNAs/LNAs, transporters, imaging, lab techs to the nurses and doctors are always amazing to us. When the hospital was full for days and no one could accompany me to another floor to shower, they gave me everything I could ever need to take my nightly "sink baths". When I had to have an NG Tube, the kindest lab tech held my hand, and the doctor and PA tried to soothe me and reassure me as much as possible (and let me tell you, the NG tube is the devil). They brought my son a popsicle, and celebrated every win with me. Each person deserves a super huge raise and extra paid vacation time! They have always listened to me, and I have been ignored and traumatized by enough medical staff in the past to know the difference. The only special thing I did was try to be kind. Thank you all for being wonderful and going above and beyond for me and my family!

I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

Antrim House was hands down the best treatment center I have been to and I know that I was not the only client that felt that way. All of the staff at Antrim made me feel heard and catered to our needs always. The BHA’s, Clinicians, Providers, Nursing Staff all went above and beyond to help me out throughout my stay there. Had some amazing talks with Brittany, Sherrie, Bailey, Chris D, Daniella, Wanda, Trevor, Lisa, Trish, Ashley, Joe and more that I will never forget. The food there cooked by Leah was top notch and the best food I’ve ever had at a treatment center. I love the fact that Krystle the alumni coordinator is so involved in her job and so passionate about what she does. It is really cool to me that she is so productive and proactive about keeping everyone in contact on the alumni app for events so we can all keep in touch and continue on together as a community in our recovery journey so that we have each other to lift one another up each step of the way. I won’t forget the amazing staff that held groups that I absorbed so much from, I will always feel forever grateful and forever blessed to have found Antrim House in my searches for a treatment center. I feel it was by the grace of God that it all worked out the way it did. Thank you to all the staff, I have nothing but amazing things to say about you all, and words can’t express how much you all mean to me. Len, Chris D, Brittany, Chris G, Trevor, Wanda, Lisa, Tonya, Keith, Martha, Brielle, Christian, Ben, Joe, Bailey, Doreen, Jessica(Provider), Chauntelle, Krystle, Daniella, Trish, Peter, John, Jessica, Sue, Michelle, Hannah, Kim, Mindy, Sherrie, Ashley. I would recommend Antrim house to anybody who is having a hard time in life and trying to turn their life around. Best recovery residential treatment center there is in the state in my mind. All of the staff there have been there before and have walked in these shoes. They all speak from experience and they care about where we are all at in our journey and want to be with us every step of the way. I will never forget my stay there at Antrim because it has helped save my life. If I kept going on the path I was going down I don’t know if I would be here leaving this review because I would most likely be dead. I can’t tell you how to get sober because everyone is different and needs different things, but I can tell you that Antrim House will give you all the tools you need to stay sober and be successful after you leave to stay on the right path. Antrim House and their staff will fight for you daily and they believe in you. The way they care and the staff there speaks volumes about Sobriety Centers as a whole and I am so grateful that I was able to go through this program. I will forever recommend this program to anyone that ever comes to me with a problem in need of help. Antrim will be the go to. Thank you for everything you guys have done for me! Words can’t express how grateful I am for you all!

Everyone that I met at SaVida was terrific. Amy is a very sweet and kind person who listened to every word I said and really listened to me. Heather was just a kind. All of the women who assisted me on my initial consultation were wonderful. Very easy to talk to. Thank you to all who made me feel important.

I have read some of the negative reviews on here and the only thing I can say is when your going through detox every bad thing that happens is greatly magnified and things are not always as bad as you think. It’s a detox not day camp. If you are truly being sick and tired of being sick and tired and you want help getting clean and sober I would suggest going to Farnum. This place definitely saved my life. If you are looking for a place that will help in your recovery then please reach out to them. I didn’t get it right the first time so I’ve been there twice over the course of 5 years but both times I’ve been there all of the staff were all very helpful and caring. To anyone reading this “you are not alone and recovery is at your fingertips.” Good luck!

Valley Vista gave me the tools to save myself. I went to Valley Vista on 12-21-2021. I attended the center for 15 days. In those 15 days I went through so much turmoil and inner struggle. The hardest moments of my life still to this day. I experienced inside that building and with the employees of Valley Vista. Coming up on 5 years of sobriety this year I want to thank everyone that helped me at Valley Vista. You are all true heroes and gave me the confidence and knowledge to save myself from myself. If you are reading this wondering and pondering if this is for you. Here it is: you need to be ready to fight to take your life back. It’s not just 15 days, it’s every single day for the rest of your life and let me tell you, there’s never been anyone more worth it. Your family needs you, they love you. Take the step today to embolden yourself for tomorrow. The light shines on everyone, you just have to keep trying. Thank you Valley Vista. Nicholas Ryan Clough

Valley Vista in Bradford, VT is a beautiful place. I attended I'd say 8 years ago but I was not mature enough to appreciate it then. I appreciate it now. It is a clean, safe facility with helpful and kind staff. When I was there they treated dual diagnosis, which I believe is a must to truly comprehend the main cause of addiction. Vermont's beautiful scenery helps as well. I remember they had great food as well, plenty of whole foods and cakes if you like processed sweets. I believe Vermont is best for farm fresh overall. I have since grew stronger in my faith and I give glory to God for putting me in recovery, but I admire the peer specialists and professional workers of Valley Vista. It is a great place for the underprivileged to afford. Thank you!

I think the staff does a great job at New Season Concord, N. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. And at the end of the day, you just continue to reach for the stars and never give up! Thank You again, New Season Patient
