With copd chf and breathing problems for 3 days. They all are very good to me and the care I get. Most recently went in for an MRI and the radiology staff was great. Very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. They made me feel ok for what I thought was a scary procedure. I will say the check-in process here should be rethought. The "Central Registration" for patients checking into the hospital is in an awkward location. When I arrived there were 10+ people ahead of me with the line almost snaking out the door. It's a bad idea overall; most places you go to the area where your appointment is and check in with the receptionist there. Just feels weird and unnecessary for everyone to wait in a huge line like that. I've also been to the ER here for someone else. The wait time is typical for an ER, at least in this area. The one in Geneva is no better. You're going to be waiting a long time it's to be expected most places now unfortunately. Jae Mc 2 months ago Took my 90 year old mother to ACH -ER per primary care physician for a CT Scan. She was not in distress but Enzyme levels were alarmingly high and Dr. could not get a “Stat” appointment for scan. Parking is non-existent for ER patients had to drop her near entrance and then go park. Once in paperwork process was quick, receptionist very pleasant. Timeline: 2:40pm Check-in at reception 4:00. Taken into room to check vitals then sent back to waiting area. 5:00. Brought back to ER exam room 6:15. Blood drawn 7:30. Scan (remarkably this happened after Some prodding at nurses station. 8:30. Scan results (again after prodding) 9:00. Left ER Our nurses were very good and Dr who read scan very thorough in review of results. Problem is obviously the dead time in the process, especially once in an exam room. The 5:00-8:30 time line could have been cut easily by 50%. The staff acts like 4-8 hours at the ER is acceptable. I understand that it is a dynamic environment but that is the job! Staff and organize accordingly. Could have turned over that room and been making the hospital more profitable with some focused attention. The ER was busy but no people on beds in hallways. The 1st time I met him he said, it won't hurt my feelings do u feel comfortable with me or would u like a woman. I said I've already researched u, I'm satisfied in your experience. For 18 months he's been there for me no matter what. ANYTIME.... He is easy to talk to, he doesn't judge, his compassion and devotion to his patients and humanity could circle to the world twice over! After Every visit I feel so much better and stronger.... The rest of the staff is also amazing you feel like family! That's how all places like this should be ran. Off topic response to a comment, centipedes should not be killed they do not build nest, they control our spider and other bug populations, they are scared of people and hold no threat to humans! Worry about the bed bug problem everywhere in auburn but there. Most places spray pesticide in almost all buildings usually several times a week to contol infesting insects, which contributes to alot of the sickness of this world. I also made a small hiccup on the end of my stay so stupid but they let it go with a warning seeing the progess I made as well as my fellow friend I made, her progress as well. I would 1000000000% recommend especially for women struggling with abuse. They specialize in really helping you find your inner strength . Also.. out of all the stays. This is the only one above a 3. So that tells ya something.. and its closer to 4 than 3 so great place !! Karina Petsche 8 months ago I was recommended here by FLACRA in Clifton Springs and I couldn't be more happier with my decision, was there from the end of May to the end of July, very caring and empathetic counselors and nurses along with the food service staff which is an army of one but she rocks it, they truly want to see you succeed and live a happy joyous life, they provide you with great information about addiction and also provide you with a wide selection of literature and even host NA and AA meetings with guest speakers, most staff are in recovery themselves so they can relate to your struggles with addiction, im 22 and currently 3 months sober, the age range is well diverse, I would recommend this ATC to anyone who wants to change their life around, I will never forget the staff who helped me overcome my alcoholism 🙏 Jonathan Tschetter 11 months ago

I rate this 10 out of 5. Excellent staff from the cleaning crew the kitchen (chef, the aunties) to the CA to the counselors and of course the nursing and medical staff!!! I started as a client and now I am working for Helio. Outpatient, residential, recovery center and inpatient/detox. All amazing programs that a lot of people put their heart and soul into. Some people like to complain about anything because nothing will ever, please them. I have lived on the streets and if someone comes into this facility and states that the streets are better. Then they clearly have never been on the streets. It's all about perspective. If you're ready and willing to make your life better regardless of what you have to do and how it will make you, "feel". If we made people completely comfortable, with all this and that, then no one would leave. I have seen that with different facilities that have all this food and that but then they don't have the proper treatment or groups. But they feed you well. Pick your poison. Some kids act like spoiled brats and nothing is ever enough. Maybe you should change your perspective, it's amazing what is possible by thinking positive regardless of the situation. It's easy to come on here and judge when you don't see it through. Suffering is real. You can choose to let a little rain ruin your day or you can choose to make a rainbow. The choice is yours. However, Going in for walk-in intake was a DREAM. I thought the process was going to be a huge hassle, but it was super straightforward. The staff present on the day I went in were so incredibly patient. One receptionist even went out of her way to catch a coworker to let them know someone could be taken care of THAT DAY instead of a week or so from then. There was staff present that helped those who needed it when it came to filling out paperwork, walking them through the whole process. Someone also had come out to the waiting room (who I assume was a higher up?) to address a rather cantankerous older gentleman. Not only did he get the problem resolved for this man, he also in real time changed this older gent's demeanor from angry yelling to apologetic and calm in a matter of minutes. Extremely professional and attentive. If you need somewhere to go, whether you're someone with a lot of questions, someone who needs to be guided through the process, someone who knows what they want, or someone with not a lot of options, I HIGHLY suggest Liberty Resources. This building is also accessible along the James St bus route. If that wasn't enough, the place was clean and despite a longer, narrower hallways, still was pleasing to the eye aesthetically.
