I have been going to Conifer Park since March of this year and all of the counselors, peer advocates, receptionist and nurse have been very supportive and very pleasant. I have heard people speaking negatively about Conifer Park, but I would recommend Conifer Park to anybody looking to get sober and stay sober.

Was patient there in 2016/17. Counselors were great. People tend to forget they are only there to give you the tools and knowledge to succeed . You as an adult has to want to change your life around. Surrender plays a big part in that. Mike and Garry were great. The staff may have changed over the years from when it was a Father Young place but the concept is the same. Good luck to you all

Savida is a Godsend to me. I've been with Savida since 2013 or 2014. The environment is always welcoming & very clean. The ENTIRE staff from the ladies at the front desks, to the nurses to the providers. They are very caring about each patient on individual needs. As I know many Friends & Family that also go to Savida and everyone agrees that they are very professional and very nice & personable. They are ALWAYS there when a addict just needs to talk even when you don't have a appointment and you call during operating offers THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU. If you need to talk during closed office hours theres ALWAYS still a human to speak with and assist you. I see Analise Vargas currently and she is the BEST. I'm VERY comfortable with her. Very kind and professional. I rate her a 10 I've had 3 specific LONG time clinicians each years at a time. When each of those providers left for new jobs or personal reasons, it's a loss. Many, many, many clinicians and office staff have come & gone, however MANY have been there for many years and I honestly have to say that the Savida office which I go to in North adams Massachusetts ( 3rd location since 2012) is not only the cleanest office I've ever encountered, but just a GREAT group of people on staff. EVERYONE there is professional, Personable, Courteous, friendly, and most of all the environment and the staff make me feel incredibly safe.

Dr. Carpenter has been the absolute best doctor I've ever had hands down. No one can compare to Her. Really bothers me how Savids treated her like nothing but an outlet for them to make money. Mountain Valley truly changed my life forever. I came to them overcome with anxiety and hopelessness that made life feel impossible and worthless. The bubbly and sweet girl I once was completely hidden by my mental illness. But Mountain Valley brought that happy and optimistic side of me back, and gave me so many more invaluable gifts and insights. At Mountain Valley, I learned so much, including skills to help me manage my intense mood fluctuations, insights about common patterns in my anxiety, how to tackle my fear head on and even see it as a tool rather than a weakness, and I learned when and how to properly reach out for help when I needed it. But more than anything, at Mountain Valley I learned what it truly meant to be loved. You will never find a place as loving as MV. From the supportive and enthusiastic staff to the other residents who I now call some of my best friends, everyone in the community truly cares so much for one another and wants to see each other succeed. Surrounded by so much care and affection, I learned how to love myself and be optimistic about my life once again. Even being almost 2 years post grad from Mountain Valley, I still feel constantly supported by the MV community and I know I always have a home in beautiful Plainfield, NH. MV was the first treatment center I ever attended. I was terrified going in—I had never been away from home, and I was struggling deeply with depression, OCD, and anxiety. I had graduated from high school in 2023, taken a gap year, and was preparing to start at Franklin & Marshall College when I hit my rock bottom. Together, my parents and I made the difficult decision that I needed more intensive support. Looking back now, those five months at MV became the most transformative period of my life. I met incredible people—both residents and staff—who made me feel seen, understood, and supported. During my time at MV, I was able to heal and reconnect with the core of my values. Of course, there were moments when I felt frustrated with the program; treatment is a vulnerable space that asks you to confront your fears, your patterns, and the safety behaviors that have led your life. But MV offered me the safety, structure, and guidance I needed to work through that discomfort. They gave me the push no one else could. MV helped me to realize just how much I needed consistency, caring accountability, and firm but compassionate support. Today, my OCD is so much better, and although my anxiety is still around (it’s always going to be a pesky little friend), I’ve learned how to work with it instead of letting it control me. I’m currently living in Portland, ME, in a transitional living program where I’m taking classes at SMCC, working at Anthropologie, and learning how to support myself. To see the progress from a year ago—when I couldn’t even leave my room—to where I am now is incredibly empowering. And best of all, I've realized that the strength I needed was already within me; I just needed some help remembering that it was there. None of this would have been possible without the foundation MV helped me build. I am forever grateful to everyone there. It genuinely changed my life. P.S. Here’s a photo of me at the peak of Mt. Healing Springs is a welcoming recovery community resource center serving those in recovery, substance users seeking recovery, and family dealing with loved ones with substance-use problems and issues. The center offers a plethora of programs for those in recovery including 12-steps (AA, NA, MA, OA, CODA), All Recovery, and Refuge Recovery. It also offers different guided activities including Recovery Writing, painting, and jewelry making. Community activities include gardening, Saturday coffee and chat, fishing, and bowling. The center is staffed by both volunteers (many of whom are in recovery) and professional Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPAs). Some of the Center's CRPAs specialize in areas of family, veterans, incarceration, and hospitalization. Positive energy flows throughout the center and all of the programs which are offered. The Center is NOT a rehab, however it does provide information to those seeking rehab facilities. Come in. Sit down. Enjoy a cup of fresh-brewed coffee. Chat with someone. Feel the good vibes.
