Healing Springs is a welcoming recovery community resource center serving those in recovery, substance users seeking recovery, and family dealing with loved ones with substance-use problems and issues. The center offers a plethora of programs for those in recovery including 12-steps (AA, NA, MA, OA, CODA), All Recovery, and Refuge Recovery. It also offers different guided activities including Recovery Writing, painting, and jewelry making. Community activities include gardening, Saturday coffee and chat, fishing, and bowling. The center is staffed by both volunteers (many of whom are in recovery) and professional Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPAs). Some of the Center's CRPAs specialize in areas of family, veterans, incarceration, and hospitalization. Positive energy flows throughout the center and all of the programs which are offered. The Center is NOT a rehab, however it does provide information to those seeking rehab facilities. Come in. Sit down. Enjoy a cup of fresh-brewed coffee. Chat with someone. Feel the good vibes.

ClearPath Advisors really helped me find my footing when I was feeling lost. The team was super down-to-earth and made everything easy to understand. They listened without judging and gave me solid advice that actually worked in real life. Their one-on-one support was clutch — it felt like having a buddy who’s got your back no matter what. The whole experience helped me get clear on my goals and build a plan that stuck. If you need real support, ClearPath’s the spot.

I went here in September-October 2025 for a suicide attempt. This place saved my life, i met some amazing friends im still in contact with. The reason this place isn’t getting 5 stars, is because of the staff. The staff are probably some of the nastiest people ive met. They are so incredibly rude to the kids and are so sassy. I got in trouble for “eating ice cream the wrong way” i’m sorry but how does a 12 year old eat ice cream the wrong way? They would also say that i’m “too happy” i just got on meds and i was relieved to feel like a normal kid so yes im gonna be happy. There were many other stupid reasons i got yelled at in there but im not gonna go into extreme detail. Overall it was a good experience besides the staff, i really enjoyed it there. I liked how we got the tablets to play games or watch movies. I would recommend but they just need to give the staff an attitude adjustment.

Amazing place. They helped my autistic child 10+ years ago and my other child in 2026. I can't say enough about the caring and compassionate staff. A lot of these poor reviews must be either by disgruntled adults or parents who do not understand the intake process. Maybe there was a bad apple or two but if so I never met them and neither did my children who had zero complaints (accept lack of electronics and personal items) and stayed 30 days each. This hospital can't take everyone there just isn't enough room. :(

I was inpatient for about 10 days in late may/early june 2025, for a plethora of issues. I was placed in Polaris, and this is different for everyone so I don't want to sway anyone's opinion but I genuinely had a good experience. Most of the staff was pretty nice. For my needs at the time, treatment did help. I was luckily in the unit with other patients who were really sweet, welcoming, and friendly which made my experience so much better. My therapist during my stay was absolutely wonderful, and she helped me understand why I was acting out the way I was. The only downsides to my stay was being woken up at the crack of dawn for vitals and meds, but honestly I can't complain too much about that, and I'm not sure whether it was just me, but my room was FREEZING. I quite literally had four blankets at one point I believe. My advice to younger adolescents coming in is to bring books, a journal/sketchbook/both, as I personally had a bit of downtime. When I was there, they did not allow any personal comfort items like a baby blanket or stuffed animals so just be aware you'll likely be without that for a bit. Also, you may recieve a tablet that has music, movies, and games on it usually after school time, so you can keep occupied with that too, but it does get taken away after lights out.

Savida is a Godsend to me. I've been with Savida since 2013 or 2014. The environment is always welcoming & very clean. The ENTIRE staff from the ladies at the front desks, to the nurses to the providers. They are very caring about each patient on individual needs. As I know many Friends & Family that also go to Savida and everyone agrees that they are very professional and very nice & personable. They are ALWAYS there when a addict just needs to talk even when you don't have a appointment and you call during operating offers THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU. If you need to talk during closed office hours theres ALWAYS still a human to speak with and assist you. I see Analise Vargas currently and she is the BEST. I'm VERY comfortable with her. Very kind and professional. I rate her a 10 I've had 3 specific LONG time clinicians each years at a time. When each of those providers left for new jobs or personal reasons, it's a loss. Many, many, many clinicians and office staff have come & gone, however MANY have been there for many years and I honestly have to say that the Savida office which I go to in North adams Massachusetts ( 3rd location since 2012) is not only the cleanest office I've ever encountered, but just a GREAT group of people on staff. EVERYONE there is professional, Personable, Courteous, friendly, and most of all the environment and the staff make me feel incredibly safe.

Methadone maintenance is the gold standard for opiate addiction for a reason. This stuff works, in addition I’ll add my counselor Katie is a straight up G. She truly cares about her clients. I just need to have my insurance cover bc it’s expensive and taking from my kids and I cannot keep borrowing. Please 🙏 just let us be patients there or help us set up a can every day 4 hours a day to get to Binghamton. But doing that will affect me working. Spring Lake Ranch saved my life. No, this is not an overstatement. Not only that, but it saved my relationship with my family. To give you some backstory, I had spent 6 years battling deep depression, OCD, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. I was very resistant to doing any sort of inpatient/residential treatment; despite efforts from my parents and therapists, I refused. And if you know anything about treatment, you know that you must be willing to receive help to get anything out of it. It took living on my own, not working, not in school, having hit yet another wall after trying IV ketamine therapy, for me to push past any pride and fear and admit that something needed to change. I did a Google search trying to find somewhere, anywhere to go that wasn’t a white wall institution, for the only thing that briefly brought me out of the dark hole I was living in was being outside with my dog. I found SLR, in addition to Gould, interested in their therapeutic community-based approach to treatment, and decided to take a tour of both. After a disappointing visit to Gould, I knew it wasn’t the place for me, a conclusion they came to as well. My dad and I then drove to Vermont and met with Kevin to tour the ranch. The atmosphere was lively, the people were friendly, and you couldn't differentiate who was a resident and who was staff. Though still trepidatious, later that day, my dad and I went back to our Airbnb and decided to move forward with it. The ranch isn't a traditional treatment place, and you can see that with every ranch holiday, as many former residents come back to visit, and the ranch welcomes them with open arms. I met some of my best friends and had the most life-changing experiences (for example, assisting in 3 piglet births as someone from a city who had only seen farm animals from a distance). This isn’t to say I didn’t have hard times, there were many instances where I fell back, but for the first time I had a community and net of support that helped me get back on my feet, and eventually gave my the courage and confidence to realize I could succeed on my own, but also that I wasn’t alone, and asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. During my time at the ranch, I was on a farm crew (though occasionally on gardens to help decorate birthday/goodbye cakes). It pushed me mentally and physically, and with each day on crew, I felt stronger and more capable. I also completed a mural during my stay, a project the ranch supported me with (along with Carl and Olivia, both of whom I attribute so much of my personal and creative growth to). I got to the ranch in March 2024 and left in April 2025. Some stay shorter, some longer, but the year I spent at the ranch wasn’t one I look back on as a “year I lost in treatment”, but the year that made me WANT to live again.
