Bradford recovery is just amazing. From the counselors. Medical staff. Bhas. The whole staff. The food is amazing. They care. It is clean. Beautiful scenery. I went in not knowing they were gonna change my life.. so glad I gave them that chance. Thanks to them I am 3 years clean and will never forget the kindness and support they gave me. This hospital needs more people like Greg, Payton, Irish, Dante (and the blonde women who was working with him) Taylor and Anastasia and Tyson. The young girl in triage (Mariah) is very judgmental and rude I do think it should be addressed. She does not like her job and it’s very obvious. Thank you for everyone I just mentioned. ❤️

I’ve always hated hospitals. Still do. But your nursing staff on 4B is the best staff ever. Top notch employees that didn’t treat a disease, they treated a patient. So impressed with the care from Brandon (detailed and informative) and Ruthann and Morgan and Lina, (all sweethearts) Even had a wonderful conversation with another nurse on the floor named Megan. SAFE is a great resource for families and it is great that the founder was able to start this service in small towns were services are lacking and severely needed. SAFE is still a fairly new service but has expanded their services within a short time and is always open to new ideas. The staff is kind, comforting, and friendly. ***update January 2024. I am really happy with my therapist, Alan. He has helped me work through so many issues and helped me discover ways to relax and deal with my stressors better. The new psychiatrist (Dr. B), although still via telehealth, has helped me find the right medication that has me back to where I am happy, motivated and able to deal with day-to-day issues with way less anxiety. After relocating to PA in 2021 I began seeing a therapist here. It was a bit awkward, at first. After a while things became more comfortable. I felt listened to and have had a few break throughs. The Psychiatrist, on the other hand, was rushed, impatient and via Zoom (at the location). She misdiagnosed me and changed my long-time medication to one that had me on the verge of a breakdown! Saw another Psychiatrist a few months later (also via Zoom) and put back on original meds where I’m back to feeling like myself.

My father died from AIDS in 1991 at the VA medical center in Bath, Ny. We flew in on a prop plane in the dead of winter to spend his last week with him. I was in 8th grade and catching HIV was like having leprosy, but worse. The hospital scared me at first. The smells and sight of older sick people was almost too much for my developing mind. Then, I saw my once strong and handsome 41 yo father not able to lift his head. He died but they brought him back before we arrived. When I say they were doing absolutely everything to keep him alive to see his kids, I mean everything! A miracle happened and the next day, he was sitting up and telling us stories. He loved that! We loved that! We spent every waking hour with him and he was feeling better, talking, laughing. The following day after we left to go home, he passed as he was speaking to his long lost beloved mother. The Bath VA Medical Center did absolutely everything to support us and keep my father alive as long as God permitted. They got him alcohol treatment, a place to live independently, medical and even aloud us to bury him on site with a full solute to his veteran status on the day of his funeral. I’ll never forget the trumpet sounding and the folding of the flag as the snow flakes sparkled in the sky. All that memory was because of the kindness of this medical center. They go above and beyond just like our soldiers. I will visit soon to share my experience with the staff and want them all to know how much they are appreciated! Thank you Bath VA Medical Center for the closure you helped bring by keeping my dad alive with dignity long enough to see his children. 😇

But machines do not heal a person all on their own. From the first floor all the way up to the fifth, the Bath VA operates on something much more powerful: genuine human connection. When you walk through those doors, you are not just a number on a medical chart. The staff here actually cares about you as an individual. They know who you are, they recognize your face, and they treat every Veteran with the respect they have earned. Beyond the exceptional care, the facility itself is a masterclass in convenience and practical logistics. It might feel like a small hospital, but packed into those five stories is just about everything a Soldier could need, all under one roof. For anyone doing their reconnaissance before a visit, here is the Ground Truth on what to expect: All-Encompassing Clinics: Whether you need physical therapy, a routine eye exam, audiology and hearing services, podiatry, or even a trip to the dentist, it is all right here in the same building. Solid Food Service: It is not a massive corporate cafeteria, but rather a reliable short-order grill. They cook up basic, genuinely good food when you need to grab a bite between appointments. Strong Connectivity: You actually get good cell phone coverage inside the building, which is a rare and welcome luxury for a concrete medical facility. Was a patient here a few times. When you're in a mental health crisis, K3 was amazing to me. Wonderful, compassionate staff, great groups, etc.. I want to thank the staff and people at the Binghamton location. 2year 5 months ago I walked into their facility and it was the first rehab I've gone to where I stayed. The people there were caring and really sweet. I owe them 2years an 5 months of my life so far bc they helped me get clean. Even when I'd just sit there coloring bc I was shutting down mentally they were great. I've colored them so many things to hang up and show future people that it does help.

I have been here a few times.. the staff here is amazing!!! From coming in the door to you go out the door every one of them was very professional and they really care about you. I wanted to let them know that they saved my life and just wanted to say thank you!!!!! I'm going on five months clean and will never go down that road again.. they have even called me since I have been out to see how I was doing. For my first inpatient experience i could not have been more blessed. My time at DVD was exceptional, the staff was amazing and the whole experience felt very personal. The best place I've ever been to for help. Have been In a few short and long term. Inpatient and out in my teen days and the staff has been by far the best around ! I also made a small hiccup on the end of my stay so stupid but they let it go with a warning seeing the progess I made as well as my fellow friend I made, her progress as well. I would 1000000000% recommend especially for women struggling with abuse. They specialize in really helping you find your inner strength . Also.. out of all the stays. This is the only one above a 3. So that tells ya something.. and its closer to 4 than 3 so great place !!
