I had to find a new counselor after years of seeing one that I loved from Milestone in Hornell. I tried a couple others but ended up going to Steuben Mental health and thanks to a friends suggestion got in with a counselor there named Allison, she has been amazing and the entire staff are very pleasant. Should you need counseling services I would highly recommend them as they have a large collection of providers and can match you up very well. Truly a amazing experience to me and this coming from a man who has been in counseling for quite awhile.

I went through the Bath Rehab Program in 2007. The best thing that ever happened to me. I started out at Chillicothe VA in Ohio, I finished the 28 day program and it was "highly" suggested to me to go to Bath to further my treatment. I have now been sober since May 3, 2007. I started working in my local VA in West Virginia in 2013. Five years after started working there, I was offered the position of Chief of Environmental Management Service (EMS). Wow, talk about coming a long way, from CWT worker to Service Chief. And I owe it to my time in Bath, NY, and always doing the right next thing! Bath saved my life, gave my sons their father back, and in 2012, I got my wife back. Sobriety ROCKS!!! Thank you Bath!

Wonderful and understanding people here. The office workers, the counselor's are all great, especially Amber, my counselor. But my 2 favorite people in the building are Doctor Anderson and the addictions nurse, Karen. Them two have helped me with several other non addiction health issues. But I cannot say enough kind words to aptly describe just how awesome this collection of dedicated people who are easy to talk to and who also come from a place of understanding. You Rock A.C.A.S.A. I'd recommend people here, without a doubt.

The receptionist are really friendly and super helpful! I love that you can just walk in for a crisis appointment anytime and they will find a counselor for you to talk to if yours is unavailable if you're having a really hard day. They have a crisis hotline and the people who answer are really nice and helpful. The atmosphere here is really welcoming. I love that the staff here helps me believe in myself by challenging me to think more positive and use healthy coping skills in my everyday life. I have felt more understood and less alone in my mental health journey here throughout the years. ❤️

Clarity has some issues right now just like most businesses. My personal expirence is I have a consistent therapist that took the time to know me..well I have had a few that challenged me,and if your going thru something and your hateing on the place and you feel like they arnt treating fairly? It's ok it's part of the process. And the Dr knows me well and actually talks to me..and he always gives me his "Jerry Springer last thought" before the session ended.i gave 4 stars because nothings perfect and normal is just a setting on a dryer.

This is an excellent rehab facility. What my daughter appreciated the most was working with a psychiatrist daily and gaining a better understanding of her mental illness and then having meds prescribed that worked better for her. There was also a lot of family involvement.
I also work in a group home for people with dual diagnosis. Many of our residents have made the rounds of various rehab facilities and mental health inpatient facilities and in almost every case, they felt they got the most out of Bradford Recovery Center.

Bradford recovery is just amazing. From the counselors. Medical staff. Bhas. The whole staff. The food is amazing. They care. It is clean. Beautiful scenery. I went in not knowing they were gonna change my life.. so glad I gave them that chance. Thanks to them I am 3 years clean and will never forget the kindness and support they gave me. I was a mess when I first went to Mountain Laurel Recovery Center. A man with a lifelong history of substance use disorders. Their individualized approach to each recovery sets a standard on how a treatment facility should operate. From a traditional 12 steps perspective to a holistic practice all the way to mindfulness. They will find a way that works for you. I am fortunate enough that I got to meet all the beautiful staff members including but not limited to, my counselor, administrators, other counselors that were teachers for my program. All the way to the nursing staff, kitchen staff and the caring ones who watch us throughout the facility. I would give 10 gold stars if I could.

Hi. I admitted myself into mountain laurel in January of 2025. My stay was amazing! I had the best counselors, the best staff and the best care possible! Everyone was wonderful! The rooms were clean and comfortable, there was plenty of opportunity to either have private time or spend time with peers. The groups were great. I came out a new person! I would recommend Mt. Laurel to anyone fighting addiction! The care I received was top notch!!!

Sure, they are always busy, and sometimes you have to wait for a little to be seen, but for me, they are one of the best VA care. I've been going here for a while now, and they have always taken good care of me. The staff is friendly as well as the doctors that treat you.

The best place I've ever been to for help. Have been In a few short and long term. Inpatient and out in my teen days and the staff has been by far the best around ! I also made a small hiccup on the end of my stay so stupid but they let it go with a warning seeing the progess I made as well as my fellow friend I made, her progress as well. I would 1000000000% recommend especially for women struggling with abuse. They specialize in really helping you find your inner strength .
Also.. out of all the stays. This is the only one above a 3. So that tells ya something.. and its closer to 4 than 3 so great place !!

I was recommended here by FLACRA in Clifton Springs and I couldn't be more happier with my decision, was there from the end of May to the end of July, very caring and empathetic counselors and nurses along with the food service staff which is an army of one but she rocks it, they truly want to see you succeed and live a happy joyous life, they provide you with great information about addiction and also provide you with a wide selection of literature and even host NA and AA meetings with guest speakers, most staff are in recovery themselves so they can relate to your struggles with addiction, im 22 and currently 3 months sober, the age range is well diverse, I would recommend this ATC to anyone who wants to change their life around, I will never forget the staff who helped me overcome my alcoholism 🙏

Honestly the best possible experience I could have for inpatient mental health care. I've been to ECMC, Brylin, Niagara Falls Memorial, UPMC Chautauqua. This place by far beats all of them. A not-so-scary environment (i.e. welcoming staff, small unit, etc); doesn't feel punitive like other psychiatric units, and I could tell these folks genuinely wanted to see recovery. From the nice young lady at registration in the ER, to the nurse taking care of me in the ER, then staff in the mental health unit, I have to say everyone was lovely. I really appreciate the care I received. I hope I won't need the hospital again, but if I do, I'd come here over anywhere else. Thank you!
